The Monster Monarch System-Chapter 191: Soul Energy
A week had gone by quickly since Rem had bought the twins and after getting the limits of their endurance, he made sure to designate different training regimens for the both of them.
As he had expected, Luke had the most endurance of both of them and so therefore, his training was far more grueling than what Kiara could handle... Luke’s training was focused on unleashing his true strength, it was well-rounded but it focused mostly on his strength training.
Since Kiara had a lower endurance, Rem had assigned her with Speed and agility training as well as mild strength training as well. A Female body was less sturdier than a male body and can quickly succumb to strain and injury, Rem took this to account when making the regimen for both of them.
He was happy with the progress that they had made so far, their bodies had been honed with the basics and Rem felt it was time to teach them about the basics of soul energy – so far they hadn’t managed to unleash it but there was always a chance.
Both children sat in the clearing, the sky was dark. They began training very early in the morning before the crack of dawn, according to Rem, it was the perfect time to avoid all sorts of distraction and focus on the task at hand.
"Before you start today’s training," Rem said and sat down in front of them, "I’m going to tell you about a new kind of power that’ll make you even stronger,"
His words perked up both their ears as they concentrated on him even more, Strength... everyone wanted it, money was very valuable but Power, power was something that was earned – people were born with it but they had to hone their talents to achieve their full potential. In the end, people worked for power and Rem hadn’t been an exception, he had to put in a lot of work to be where he was right now.
"Watch," Rem said as he raised his palm up, placing it in front of the children and then almost instantly, crimson energy surged around it as a powerful aura was soon expelled from Rem’s palm, "This is soul energy and it’s what I want both of you to achieve,"
"Soul energy?"
"It looks so powerful,"
"Soul energy is within our souls," Rem said, tapping at his chest, "If you’re able to unleash your soul energy, you’ll be able to land stronger and faster attacks, enhance your speed and evade attacks better,"
Both of them nodded in understanding and Rem dispelled the aura of soul energy, they had barely scratched the surface of soul energy and he wasn’t going to explain further on the topic.
"If you want to become better, you need to grasp your own soul energy," Rem said, "Now begin your training,"

After a round of physical training, both were meant to face against Rem in combat and to face such a beast in combat could be described in only one word – Pointless.
*Whoosh*
*Whoosh*
It didn’t matter how many punches he threw, Luke wasn’t finding a way to break through this man’s defenses – Rem was constantly dodging his every attack, almost like he was reading the boy’s every move before he struck. It was annoying to him.
"Stay still!" Luke cried out while moving forward, if there was anything the constant combat fights for a week had thought him – it was that he needed flow within each attack he made while fighting, if his movements were un-coordinated, Rem would be sure to knock some sense into him.
Luke took a step forward, taking in a deep breath and loosening his muscles, he just needed to win one of these spars and he would win a Special reward from Rem – the reward was random though, it could be anything ranging from money to a pebble but Luke knew that the young man in front of him wouldn’t give him a pebble for completing the mission that he had set... or would he??
The Red haired youth threw his fist at Rem’s waist but before his fist could make contact, Rem moved out of his way and gave him a devastating spin kick, aimed right at Luke’s face.
’I know what happens here,’ Luke thought as Rem’s foot smashed into his arm, he let out a small scream before being sent flying. There was something so annoying about that confidence that made Luke want to rip it into shreds, the whole concept of that strike wasn’t to block the attack, if someone used such an attack on him, he wouldn’t be able to defend it.
Luke adjusted himself mid-air, took in deep rasps of air while rolling in the air. His back soon slammed into a tree and he let out a painful grunt, that certainly wasn’t pleasing.
"You need to work on refining your martial arts a bit more," Rem advised, "I feel like you were making amazing progress with it there, keep on practicing and show me your results in tomorrow’s training," 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Luke nodded, determined to hone his martial arts even more and become even stronger.
"Where’s Kiara?" Rem wondered while taking a step to the side, a fist blurring past his face immediately. If someone had made the most progress here, it would be Kiara – she didn’t have to focus on pure strength like how Rem had made sure Luke trained.
Her gains were in her agility and speed, both of them having grown within a week. It wasn’t something to be too proud of but considering her age and how long it took her – Rem was sure she’d become a Speedster even capable of rivaling Olivia’s speed in a year.
Kiara pulled to a stop and turned to Rem with expectant eyes.
"You’re a whole lot faster than how you were before," Rem said, "But this isn’t the highest you can reach so don’t celebrate about it yet, instead focus on making yourself stronger and faster,"
