The Monster Monarch System-Chapter 189: New Room
"I’m home," Rem said as he opened the door of the house they would be staying, he had already informed that he would be bringing someone home today... although they weren’t expecting it to be two.
"Welcome," A brown haired girl greeted him, she had a slender and curvaceous figure. This young girl was the daughter of the Bartender and Rem had remembered the countless times the man had tried to convince him to marry his daughter – he couldn’t even count it on the palms of his hands.
She wore a tight-fitting black dress which hugged tightly to her body, it was clear that she was a beautiful young woman and she had a bright future ahead of her... especially with those D-cups hanging at her chest.
Rem sighed and closed the door behind him, the kids had scurried inside – their eyes wide. They were aware that their new master was rich so they expected him to be living in a fabulous mansion with countless maids at his beck and call, they hadn’t expected him to be staying in such a bland place.
"So we have visitors, huh?" The young woman asked while walking over to Rem, not forgetting to smile at the children, "They’re really cute,"
"I know, Pari," Rem said while attempting to get his cloak off, Pari wouldn’t let him though – she did it for him... savoring the closeness that they shared even though it was for a little.
"I made dinner," Pari said as she rolled up Rem’s cloak, hanging it on the rack next to the door.
"Yeah! Dinner!" Luke exclaimed while pumping his fist up, Rem sighed at the boy’s antics.
"You just had lunch," Rem said.
"I still have room for more," Luke said while patting his stomach, his blue eyes staring at Rem innocently.
"You’re not having dinner anytime soon," Rem said and turned to Pari, "The guest room that I asked you to prepare, did you do it?"
Pari gave a small nod, she had done a bit too much... it wasn’t every time that Rem asked for a favor and she didn’t want to disappoint his trust in her.
"Thanks a lot," Rem said and then turned to both children, "I’ll be taking you to your new room now, you better behave yourselves,"
Both of them nodded and Rem led them up the stairs to a clean room – the sheets were washed, everywhere was sparkling... it was just amazing.
’She did more than I expected,’ Rem thought and then shrugged, ’I’ll take her for lunch tomorrow or something,’
"Woahh the bed is so clean," Luke said, racing into the room and feeling the sudden urge to bounce on the bed.
"Try it and you’ll be sleeping on the ground throughout next week," Rem calmly said, his gaze insinuated that he was being very serious about what he had just said. Luke stopped in his tracks and Rem cleared his throat, prompting to explain the rules.
"One, if you’re going to be staying here – You’ll need to wake up early and get work done," Rem said, "There are no slackers... both of you will assist Miss Pari, the woman we just saw downstairs during cleaning in the morning," 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
Kiara and Luke nodded, it sounded fair.
"Two, you shouldn’t mess up the room," Rem said, "Don’t ever mess up the room, it took a lot of time to clean this place out so do us a favor and be quiet as well as clean,"
"Okay Master," Both slaves nodded and Rem understood.
"Get yourselves acquainted with your new room," Rem said, "And get some rest as well,"
With that, he shut the room behind himself.

Rem lay with his back to the bed, he kept on going through the basic techniques to run through for the children.
’I haven’t asked their ages yet,’ Rem thought, ’Despite their malnourished bodies, they need to start basic training – it’ll help them in the long run once their bodies start getting stronger,’
He needed to plan things out, he wanted them to be powerful and the only way to do that would be to grind – to grow stronger... He also thought of a way to teach them to draw upon soul energy.
’Maybe create manifestations as well,’ Rem thought – if it were an adult or someone around his age, the time to educate and let them grow would have far since passed and it would take a lot more grit to achieve any goals.
A soft knock sounded at Rem’s doors, pulling him away from his thoughts. He shelved everything he was thinking about until next time.
"Come in," Rem said and the door parted revealing Pari, still dressed in her tight-fitting dress.
Pari trembled visibly as she stepped inside his room, she wanted to say something but was too shy to do so.
"Pari, you want to say something?" Rem asked and the girl nodded, "Then go ahead, I’m not a villain,"
"Can you follow me to the Supermarket? I have to get some new groceries," Pari said with pleading eyes – the sun had already begun to cast a shadow, it was going to be evening soon.
"Sure," Rem said while standing up, "Let’s get them before it turns dark,"

Pari wasn’t sure what was happening but what she knew was that she didn’t want it to end – he held her hand as they walked into the business district, it was already getting to the evening time so a lot of people were packing up.
’Great I left them with a slime of myself,’ Rem thought as he absorbed everything the slime was seeing like a sponge so he was keeping a safe eye on the children while going out with Pari to get some groceries, ’Is this what life has boiled down to?’
He didn’t despise it but he was deviating away from his original decision, he had to make it to the city to search for clues about the demons... but his map-reading skills were below average, he couldn’t find the perfect route to take.
When traveling, you had to worry about attacks from fellow humans or the monsters that lurk in the shadows and out of all of them, a betraying human was the most despicable.
