The Monster Monarch System-Chapter 111: Rise (Part 2)
Rem furrowed his brows, he incredibly doubted that the attack from the Death Wolf Boss would be able to destroy the Holy demon. He didn’t stop gathering magic for his own strike, all of it seemed a bit too easy.
And the smoke cleared shortly after, revealing the Holy demon with several large holes in it’s body, it’s arms had been dismembered and it’s head had been blown off – the extent of the damage was not something that was negligible but it had been expected that the Demon would recuperate immediately, instead it took time for the flames to gather in the respective holes and even more time for the wounds to regenerate.
’So it’s running low on Magical energy,’ Rem thought and thrusted his other hand forward, this was a situation where he had to exploit to the maximum, "Strike it!"
The Death wolf boss’s claws glinted as they hardened, it moved toward the Holy demon in an effort to strike – despite the holes being closed, the arms hadn’t completely healed yet and the head hadn’t been touched. Just as the claws were about to reach it, the demon expelled a shockwave of flames around it, engulfing it’s adversary in a powerful blast of flames but the Death Wolf boss pushed past the pain, landing a devastating slash on the Holy demon, splitting it’s body into three parts.
The three parts attached together shortly after and it took several steps backward, it’s arms finished regenerating as well and then the head... causing Rem’s eyes to widen in surprise.
’I thought it’s regeneration had slowed down due to it losing magical energy but that doesn’t seem to be the case,’ Rem thought. It was still at a disadvantage though because it’s flames had stopped being erratic and had been forced to assume the shape they were once in – the shape of Arya’s body.
With it’s solidified body, the monsters could easily dish out damage to it and the Holy demon would barely be able to react to the violence... forcing it on the defensive, it could try to engulf the Monsters in flames but as long as Rem had magical energy, he could heal them up immediately or revive them and apparently he had much more magical energy to spare.
The cluster of elements in his palm was soon finished, revolving with a force that ensured destruction to whatever it touched. Rem’s eyes glinted in green as he powered forth, all of the monsters cleared the way and even the towering Death wolf boss moved out of the way, leaving Rem with a straight path to the Demon. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Sensing the imminent danger, the Holy demon shot forth flames upon flames at the Apprentice but portals formed behind Rem, four tendrils formed a shield in front of him and protected him from the onslaught... these metallic tendrils belonged to a Monster he had recently slayed, The Spidergob mutation.
To bring out the entire monster would take out a huge chunk from his magical energy that was already draining with each passing moment, the equivalent amount of magical energy to summon the Spidergob would be the amount that he was using to maintain the goblin legion.
’Even summoning the tendrils for protection is a little bit of a hassle,’ Rem thought as the tendrils shot forward, impaling the Holy demon with relative ease. Rem pushed more strength into his legs and leapt forward, finishing the sprint and rearing his arm backward.
He pushed magical energy into the orb and willed it to spin, bringing it to the center of the Holy demon and pushing it in, right into it’s chest. Nothing happened at first as the orb kept piercing but after nestling within the Holy demon’s chest, it spun out of control – the elements being released at once.
The tendrils shot out of the Holy demon’s body, retracting and arranging themselves in front of Rem protectively as an elemental explosion occurred, the force behind this explosion forced Rem who had the protection of the tendrils toward the other wall.
Fire, Lightning, Wind... the elements detonated, razing the body of the Holy demon. There was no escape, the destruction ensued and Rem pulled back his monsters just as the destruction intensified, forcing his back against the wall even more.

Only thick smoke billowed around the Boss room, web-like cracks spread around the ground and the only thing one would be able to see was a Black haired youth with gray eyes wrapped in slime.
The slime around Rem vanished as he climbed out of the crater, a sigh escaping from his lips as a tab floated in front of him, urging him to absorb the Holy demon.
...
[Would you like to absorb ’Holy Demon’ Soul?]
[Yes / No]
...
Rem tapped on Yes and he felt it, a powerful soul shooting through the air and colliding with his chest, he staggered backward a bit as the powerful presence roamed around his soul before finally being absorbed.
...
[’Holy Demon’ soul has been successfully absorbed]
[Holy Flame Sacrifice can be used]
[You have gained Unique Skill: Holy Blast (B-grade), You have gained Unique Skill: Holy Wall (B-grade), You have gained 300 MAG points]
...
Rem sighed, everything was finally over. He walked toward the blue portal after some little stretches, there were probably enemies waiting for him at the other side.
"Good thing I have this," Rem muttered while pulling out a similar cloak from the Inventory – he had killed two channelers on that day after all and then another mask. After that, he dashed through the portal and into the world on the other side.

Julie dashed through the dense forest, her eyes following the trail left behind... her heart beating in trepidation – Arya’s words were still etched within her mind but Julie forced herself to not believe that her Mentor had done such a thing, it all seemed like a dream to her.
The trail eventually led to an active gate but just as she was about to take another step forward, A masked being stepped out of the dungeon gate and the gate began receding... Julie’s eyes snapped open and rage suddenly filled them, only for the masked figure to vanish and for her to fall face-first into the ground.
