The Hunter's Lively Wife-Chapter 2052: Annoyed
When Little Yuanbao and Little Tiangua were small, Su Yunjin personally fed them more often. Later, as the two children grew older, Su Yunjin entrusted both kids to the nursemaids for feeding.
Now Little Tiangua was hungry, and remembering how pitifully her daughter had cried before, Su Yunjin thought that if she were to hand Little Tiangua over to the nursemaid again, little Tiangua would probably cry once more. It had been difficult to calm Little Tiangua down, so Su Yunjin, fearing her daughter would cry again, decided not to hand Little Tiangua over to the nursemaid for feeding.
So, she lifted her clothes and began feeding her daughter. Su Yunjin was completely focused on her daughter, noticing how Little Tiangua’s tiny hands held onto her food eagerly while eating, even a bit urgently. Little Tiangua was indeed very hungry.
With food in her mouth and being held in her mother’s arms, Little Tiangua, likely tired from all the previous crying, didn’t eat for long before falling sweetly asleep in Su Yunjin’s arms. Afraid of waking her daughter, Su Yunjin gently picked her up and handed her to Gu Ya.
Little Tiangua slept deeply and usually wouldn’t wake up easily. Gu Ya instinctively lowered his son from his arms and took his daughter from his wife’s hands.
Throughout this series of actions, Gu Ya’s eyes remained fixed on Su Yunjin.
Su Yunjin was focused on feeding her daughter, without any other thoughts, but when she noticed Gu Ya’s odd expression, she belatedly realized what was on his mind.
"Turn your head away." Su Yunjin hurriedly pulled down her raised clothes and glared at Gu Ya.
Gu Ya chuckled softly but refrained from staring at his young wife again. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Su Yunjin felt a flush on her face. She then went to feed Little Yuanbao, knowing that if Little Tiangua was hungry, Little Yuanbao surely hadn’t eaten enough either.
Indeed, Little Yuanbao also began to eat eagerly.
Su Yunjin gently patted her son’s back, recalling the pitiful looks of the two kids when they returned home, and decided that next time she went out, she definitely wouldn’t bring the two little ones along.
Usually, when she went out for a day, the two children wouldn’t fuss. Yet today, she’d been away for less than half a day, and the two little ones had been crying a lot.
It must have been because they were unaccustomed to the change of place. Since both children were still young, Su Yunjin decided not to take them to distant places anymore. It would be better to leave them at home where the nursemaids could care for them, avoiding such pitiful crying like today.
The boatman quickly steered the boat to the dock. Su Yunjin and Gu Ya each carried a sleeping child off the boat and boarded the carriage back to the Gu Residence.
Everything Su Yunjin bought today, including pearls and fabrics, was also moved onto the carriage. Originally, their carriage was spacious, but once these pearls and satin were placed inside, it started to seem crowded.
Still, it wasn’t too cramped, and they could manage to sit in it.
Little Tiangua and Little Yuanbao slept especially soundly today. From the boat to the carriage, neither showed any sign of waking up.
As for Mrs. An, planning to move to the Gu Residence for a long stay, she felt quite content after eating and drinking well at Su Yunjin’s house.
Not only were there servants to wait on her at meals, but even tea was served, which Mrs. An found quite enjoyable. The only thing that dissatisfied her was the butler and servants insisting that they had to wait for the lady and young master to return before they could arrange her living quarters, which made Mrs. An feel quite displeased.
