Chapter 365 Golden Soul Nodule

Upon returning to the manor, Aethelwolf informed everyone that he would be cultivating. After leaving some messages to his family, he locked himself in his room and took out the pill he bought in the Ballard Pill Shop.

The Agalsistar was lying inside a small glass bottle. The pill was shaped like a capsule, looking like the medicines in his past life.

Aethelwolf opened the glass bottle and took the pill into the palm of his hand. It felt warm and he could already feel the dense energy contained inside the pill. "Let's see if this will work." He uttered.

Aethelwolf had already ingested a number of pills that could increase his level so he was not sure if the Agalsistar would work on him. However, he was willing to take a risk. He didn't feel safe in this new land that housed countless experts who were stronger than him. He would only feel better if he reached the next realm, the Nascent Soul. According to Tyrone, the mayor was at this level. He guessed that the leaders of the five noble families were also at this level.

Aethelwolf threw the pill into his mouth. It tasted sour and astringent, but the taste wasn't important. The energy inside the pill entered his body like a stream.

Aethelwolf took a seat and adjusted his posture to a comfortable position. He steadied his breathing as he slowly guided the energy towards his Hegel.

The process wasn't difficult, but Aethelwolf had to be very focused. Every second was crucial and he didn't want to waste even a drop of world essence.

Under his persistence, the stubborn energy soon entered his Hegel. Aethelwolf felt something stirring in his soul as if a slumbering organ was about to awaken.

Soon, he felt his soul vibrating with intense energy. To describe it in words, it felt like his soul was screaming in excitement. 𝙗𝒆𝒅𝙣𝙤𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝙢

Upon closing his eyes, he could see the reflection of his soul. It was his reflection, except that it was incorporeal and slightly blurry. He also noticed four flickering lights within his soul. Of the four flickering lights, three were slightly dim. Only one of them was shining with golden radiance.

"This must be the Tien or the Golden Soul Nodule. I didn't expect that I would actually break through to the Nascent Soul after eating the Agalsistar. I thought that I still needed to wait for a couple of days." Aethelwolf was pleasantly surprised. Looking at the flickering golden light within his soul, he knew that he had unlocked the Tien Soul Nodule.

Aethelwolf slowly opened his eyes. His body was drenched in sweat so he quickly used a spell to dry himself out. He then stood up and inspected the changes in his body.

There were no visible changes in his appearance, but when he checked his Hegel, he saw that the Tien Soul Nodule seemed to be connected to him via spiritual link. It was invisible to the naked eye and only Nascent Soul Espers were capable of seeing it.

Aethelwolf didn't want to attract unnecessary attention so he concealed his aura using a stealth skill. This is something he learned after his experience in the Regalis Continent. It was to remain low profile. Once his strength was exposed, he knew that endless troubles would follow. He vowed to live a normal life with his family in this continent and he would strictly adhere to this.

Aethelwolf stepped out of his room.

There were two maids waiting for him outside. Upon seeing him walking out, they immediately bowed to him. "Greetings, Lord Aethelwolf."

Aethelwolf nodded to them. "How long was I in seclusion?" He asked. Although he believed that only a few hours passed, he still had to verify this since the concept of time was complicated during cultivation.

One of the maids raised her head and replied. "My lord, you were in seclusion for two days."

Hearing this, Aethelwolf was taken aback, but he didn't show it to his face. He just nodded his head. He checked the time on his pocket watch and saw that it was almost time for lunch. He walked towards the dining room and found that his family was already in their seats.

"Papa!"

"Papa!"

The two little girls jumped out of their seats and jogged towards him. Olivia leaped into his embrace, while his youngest daughter, Shane, hugged his legs while looking at him with an adorable smile.

"Did you two miss me?" He ruffled their hair and carried them back to their seats.

The two little girls nodded their heads fiercely.

Aethelwolf smiled gently at them.

"How was your seclusion?" Julie Irish asked.

Aethelwolf turned his head and replied in a whispering voice. "I've unlocked my Golden Soul Nodule and stepped into the Nascent Soul." He didn't want the servants to hear him so he blocked anyone from hearing his words and only limited it to his two wives. His two little daughters might speak about it so it was better to keep it from them.

Julie's eyes flashed with joy, while Samira let out a smile. "Congratulations!"

Soon, lunch was served.

Aethelwolf invited the servants to dine with them, but they tactfully rejected his invitation. Aethelwolf didn't insist when he saw their expressions. He knew that the people of this country strictly followed the caste system.

After eating their meal, Aethelwolf brought his family to the Golden Lake to sightsee. They boarded the carriage and headed to the lake.

"My lord, the strong creatures in the lake have already been eliminated, but please be careful." William warned as he urged the mounts to stop.

"We will be careful." Aethelwolf nodded.

William jumped down from the coachman's seat and opened the carriage door. He lowered his head slightly, showing the etiquette of a loyal servant.

Meanwhile, Aethelwolf helped his wives and daughters get off the carriage. After everyone had alighted, Aethelwolf grabbed his daughters' small hands and walked them to the shore.

Samira and Julie chuckled as they followed behind them.
