Chapter 123: Chapter 123 Yang Xuelan’s Plan_1

Although Han Mei and Tian Yue’e were both more ferocious than the other, making a racket,

after all the commotion, none of them actually let Li Qing have his way with them.

Leaving him all fired up over nothing.

He almost thought the three of them could start from eating grapes together, shamelessly and unabashedly.

After dinner, Han Mei took Tian Yue’e off to bed.

Making Li Qing not just shamefaced, but without even the slightest advantage taken.

The next day, Li Qing got up bright and early, had breakfast, and then called Gao Li to go collect Wenguan Leaves together.

This time, Yang Xuelan followed them as well.

Li Qing and Gao Li went to collect the leaves, while she took the opportunity to go into the mountains to pick them.

Last night Gao Li came back and mentioned how Li Qing’s Wenguan Leaves sold for over four hundred a pound.

If it weren’t for the fact that she was too scared to venture out in the pitch-dark, Yang Xuelan might have headed into the mountains in the middle of the night.

Today, perhaps because of the mountain trip, Yang Xuelan wore long sleeves and jeans.

Her round buttocks, held up high, swayed rhythmically with every step she took.

The insides of her thighs touched each other with every step, igniting a fire in Li Qing’s blood.

He sneaked a hand to grab a feel.

Yang Xuelan turned her head sharply, giving Li Qing a glare, but she wasn’t really angry.

"Qingzi, make sure you keep the price to yourself, don’t tell anybody." Yang Xuelan suddenly said, "The folks in our village are pretty decent when times are good, but when they turn bad, they’re the worst of the worst."

"I’ve already warned this good-for-nothing Gao Li, we must not harm you as you have looked out for us!"

"Sister-in-law, I have it in mind." Li Qing replied with a smile, reaching out to grab two handfuls of Yang Xuelan’s perky buttocks.

Suddenly, the corner of Yang Xuelan’s eyes carried a hint of seductive charm.

"Are you going to town again today?" she asked, glancing at Gao Li, who was busy tidying up the three-wheeler motorcycle.

Li Qing nodded.

"Hubby, take Qingzi out for a meal today." Yang Xuelan called out loud, "Qingzi has helped us so much, almost as if handing the money directly into your hands, and yet you, making yourself out to be oh-so-honest, didn’t even let out a single fart."

"I’m giving you the day off today; you can have a drink. If you’re not fit to ride home, find someone to bring you back."

Gao Li, his face lighting up, said somewhat sheepishly, "Well, I was actually planning to treat Qingzi to a meal after a couple of days, buy some beef, slaughter an old hen, and have a good feast at home."

"Do what you want; you can buy meat and cook it at home if that’s what you fancy." Yang Xuelan said, then gave Li Qing a cheeky wink.

The hint of spring in her eye was almost palpable.

Li Qing could hardly pretend not to understand what Yang Xuelan was suggesting.

It was clear she wanted to get Gao Li drunk so she could find an opportunity to sleep with him!

"There’s no need for such trouble; I haven’t helped much." Li Qing responded politely, though he was actually over the moon inside.

"We might be simple folks, but we should at least understand basic decorum," Yang Xuelan insisted.

"Well... alright then." Li Qing said. While Gao Li was bent over cleaning the bike, Li Qing stealthily grabbed Yang Xuelan’s perky bottom again, sliding his fingers into the tight crevice.

Even though he couldn’t actually feel anything, the sensation was still pretty fantastic.

Yang Xuelan got off halfway to Shanglin Village.

This narrow road, by the edge of the forest, was where she would make just a few steps towards the mountain.

Before parting ways, Yang Xuelan once again specifically reminded Gao Li about the evening’s plan.

After Gao Li repeatedly agreed, he then continued on to Shanglin Village with Li Qing.

Shanglin Village had its formidable people.

The dark-faced woman who had picked five pounds yesterday was even fiercer today.

In one go, she brought Li Qing eleven pounds, and she had cleaned them exceptionally well.

It seemed like the fifteen hundred yuan from yesterday made her taste the sweetness of success, so she worked even harder today.

Besides her, the others weren’t far behind; today, there were hardly any who brought just a few ounces.

Typically, everyone brought in around three to four pounds. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

It was the old village head who liked to reminisce about the past, with tobacco seemingly forever wedged between his fingers, who brought just a bit over one pound, landing at the bottom.

He chuckled and said to Li Qing, "If it weren’t for everyone taking care of me, this old fellow wouldn’t have been able to bring even this much."

Li Qing responded with a smile.

Compared to the others, the old village chief, who only had his grandson at home, indeed didn’t have the advantage in terms of manpower.

After the final count, Li Qing collected a total of forty-two pounds of Wenguan Leaves in Shanglin Village.

This was far beyond the total sum from all the villages yesterday.

The outcome startled Li Qing a bit.

He had a little over ten thousand yuan in total, and after settling with Shanglin Village, he only had a little over one thousand left in his hands.

Li Qing didn’t dare to go to the other villages, so he immediately had Gao Li take him to the county town.

Without capital, he could only turn the goods in his hands into cash first, then collect from the other villages.

Once in the county town, Li Qing first settled thirty pounds with Lü Zong, and then took the rest to Yu Baishuo’s place.

Last time, Li Qing had met several villagers delivering Wenguan Leaves here, but today it was quiet and deserted.

The warehouse door was wide open, and Yu Baishuo, wearing a loose shirt, was sitting at the desk playing with her phone.

She seemed somewhat bored.

Hearing footsteps, she looked up and smiled slightly, asking, "You haven’t been around for quite some time, have you?"

"Ran into a bit of trouble recently," Li Qing said with a smile as he set down the bag filled with Wenguan Leaves on the ground.

"What happened to your arm?" Yu Baishuo peered at Li Qing’s arm hanging from his neck and asked.

"Took a tumble on the bike, it’s nothing serious," Li Qing brushed off casually without going into details about the incident.

Yu Baishuo stood up, took the Wenguan Leaves Li Qing had brought in, and placed them on the scale, "Wow, quite a lot today."

"I collected them from other places. I’ve long since cleaned out my own family’s supply, and I’m afraid I can only harvest again next month," Li Qing said, his gaze following Yu Baishuo’s figure.

Yu Baishuo’s shirt was a bit extraordinary.

It made Li Qing somewhat unclear whether it could be classified as a shirt or a dress.

The shirt was very loose, its length barely reaching the middle of Yu Baishuo’s thigh.

At a glance, besides the shirt, one could only see her fair, lotus-root-like long legs.

Yu Baishuo was obviously not young, but she was extremely well-maintained, her face rosy and fair.

Those long legs were like baby’s skin, both white and tender to the eye.

"Your idea is quite good, we can actually collaborate on this," Yu Baishuo said, squatting down to meticulously inspect the Wenguan Leaves.

Li Qing stretched his neck forward slightly.

The gaping neckline revealed a bottomless ravine, which, perhaps due to the hot weather, was slightly reddened.
