The Extra's Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!-Chapter 168: [A Request!]
Walking back into the shopping complex, I reached back to Elliot and Amber. Unaware of what just happened outside, they both seemed to be busy in their own choices of clothes and jwelleries. Her parents were the same as they simply began observing clothes for themselves as well, and sometimes helping the two kids out with the jewelleries.
Though the same cannot be said for Sebastian who had probably heard and seen everything that happened outside. His eyes shook as soon as they got in contact with mine, and as I moved closer to him, instinctively he took a step back as well.
'He wasn't that afraid when I defeated the elder vampire. Perhaps the meteor trick was far more effective than I believed it would have been,' I gave it a thought before moving closer to Sebastian who was at the edge, near the railing of the current floor.
"Did you not believe me when I told you all those things?" I asked curiously. And he gulped before answering,
"Seeing and hearing are two different things. It wasn't like I was doubting you but still… "
He spoke with honesty and a smile blossomed on my face before I nodded at him. This is what I like about him, straightforward and honest. Although there were still schemes at play, he still speaks his heart and does not lie blandly to save his skin.
"Sebastian. Things are going to change drastically from now on. I have told you right? After that world will end, the tower will begin taking in people who are worthy. Your entire common sense will be turned upside down from that point onwards," I reminded him as his eyes calmed down a bit.
"Trust me. Although difficult, if you have the proper luck, you can reach even my power level. And without luck, it will just take a tad bit longer. You should stop being shocked with something of this level," I added making him doubt my words before he asked again,
"Is it really true? Can I really reach your level?"
I gave him a humble smile as I nodded before speaking," yup. Though it would require effort. Too much effort."
He gulped before he nodded, calming himself down as he spoke," all right. Then I will trust you. I just have to wait for a few more days to verify your words, right?"
I nodded before my eyes caught a certain figure walking towards us. The crimson blades were no longer there but her hair was still black, meaning she was still using her powers, probably enhancing her physical stats this time.
"Miss Kite," Sebastian spoke with a slightly pitiful tone. He saw the battle that took place on the rooftop, and knowing the character of Kite, he couldn't help but pity her. She was hailed as the strongest of the strongest among them but was still easily defeated without being able to land a single attack on me.
Although… I don't think she really cared about all that.
"If… If you really are a God, can I ask you something?"
And much to my surprise, she said something that was totally unexpected. Or was it expected given everyone has their own wishes that they want to come true? I wasn't really playing 'God' here though…
"I am not a God, I told you. Though what is it that you want to know?" I asked as I observed her face, contemplating as she looked at me with hope filled her eyes. Compared to the previous serious expression that was ready to kill me in a single breath, right now, she seemed as if I were her only solution.
'Such drastic change…' I was amused as I looked at her. Perhaps she was testing me? Or she was genuinely trying to get what she wanted? Or most probably… It was both.
"Can you bring back the dead?" She asked one of the few things that I can't do. I gave out a pressed smile before speaking,
"I don't think I can. You know souls, right? Or at least the concept of it? Souls pass from one place to another as soon as one loses their life. If I do something like bringing back the dead, it would disrupt more than just a couple of things."
I tried to be logical though I barely know about things like these. It's just that some of my memories told me this information, as if I knew about them. Did I happen to read it somewhere? Or did I figure it out by the limited knowledge I had? I do not know.
Kite's eyes shook for a brief moment before she asked,
"So she is alive somewhere else?"
"Pretty much. Though I doubt she would have any memories as such," I looked at her expression and I already knew what she was going to ask next. Though even that was tedious so I just gave out the answer," finding her would be like finding a drop of water in a near infinite ocean. Finding her would not exactly be in the definition of impossible but something akin to it."
And her hope, which was gradually igniting, died down pretty quick. Slowly returning to her previous misdemeanor she looked at me the same as when she first met me.
"Though. Who were you trying to revive? A family member? Or perhaps a lover?" I questioned, wondering who was that person she wanted to know about.
"It's my sister. Though, I doubt it matters much," she spoke in a low tone before she asked me,
"You said that the world was going to end anyway… So can you help me fulfill another one of my wishes?"
"I can. But why exactly should I do that?" I asked. The previous thing she asked was a request so it seemed fine to do it. But this one, it seemed more of a command than a request.

And she looked at me with a slight smile as she spoke," it's just helping me reach a certain place. Since you are so bored, wouldn't it be better to go for 'sightseeing' in this world? Or is it that mister 'I am a God' can't even do this much?"
I never said that I am a God though… but still, I guess, sightseeing isn't half bad either. Well… what should we do here?
'Hmmm… on that thought… I can actually create a utility skill for it?' I thought as I realised what my next skill was going to be.
