Rowan was inside his throne room, seated on the throne.

Apart from him, there was no other person in the throne room.

He had a fierce look on his face as he stared at the door as if he was expecting someone.

Just a few seconds later...

"Come in," he said before the person who just arrived behind the door could even knock.

Instantly, the door opened, revealing a Royal Guard. freēnovelkiss.com

The guard bowed before walking towards Rowan.

"My King, this letter was sent by Orion, the principal of Greenfield Academy," the guard said with his head still lowered.

His right hand, which held the letter, was outstretched.

Rowan's eyes darted towards the letter. "Bring it."

The guard quickly walked forward and placed the envelope on Rowan's hand.

The envelope had the insignia of Greenfield Academy, signifying that it was indeed from Orion.

Rowan quickly removed the paper from the envelope before unfolding it and reading the contents.

"...What?"

A single word escaped Rowan's lips.

His brows were currently furrowed as he stared at the letter for a few more seconds.

Instantly, he raised his head, staring at the guard whose head was still lowered.

"Meet the commander of the sixth team. Tell him that I want to see him this instant," Rowan ordered, his voice firm.

"Understood, my King," the guard quickly ran out of the throne room.

Rowan gripped the letter tightly as he stared at the door.

The letter slowly began tearing as his eyes became even more fierce.

"...They think they can get away with this...? Hmm... I'll show them..."

The door opened again, and the guard walked in. But this time, there was someone else with him.

A man with short black hair.

He was wearing a uniform that made it obvious that he was a commander, and there were six stars at the breast pocket of the uniform.

He had a rapier strapped to his waist, and his steps carried a certain rhythm to it.

This man was the commander of the sixth team of the Royal Army.

He quickly bowed. "I'm here, my King."

"Vake," the King said, making Vake raise his head.

"I have a mission for you."

Vake nodded. "Just say the word, my King, and it will be done instantly."

Rowan exhaled.

"The item I gave you... I want you to use it to locate two individuals."

"Understood, my King. I only need drawings of them."

Vake added, "And if I find them, what should I do?"

"Bring them to me... They'll receive their punishment," Rowan said instantly.

"I understand," Vake said.

"You can go now," Rowan said. "The drawings will be brought to you soon enough."

Vake bowed deeply before walking out of the throne room along with the guard.

But just a few seconds after they left the throne room, another guard suddenly rushed inside.

"My King! My King! A Vampire was spotted in Zane City!"

"What?! Just one?"

The Vampire nodded frantically. "Yes, my King. B-but the people in the city are already panicking. They believe that since there's already one Vampire, then there's surely more."

In this situation, there was one good news and one bad news.

The bad news was that a Vampire was spotted in Zane City, meaning there could be others.

As for the good news, it wasn't an attack yet, meaning that the Royal Army could be sent there now in case it becomes a full attack, and they would be able to protect a lot of lives.

'But the one thing I still don't understand is the report I got that the Vampires in the five cities that got attacked were able to use Mana... How is that even possible?'

Rowan stared at the guard. "Tell the First Prince to meet me here."

"Yes, my King," the guard said before leaving hurriedly.

'I'll leave Clinton to handle it,' Rowan thought. 'For now, the time for the meeting I have with the other four Kings is already here...'

Rowan wanted to make sure that the whole world was involved in the war.

After all, he had a certain grudge.

Inside a spacious office, a man was seated on the chair with a table in front of him.

Even though it looked like he was staring at the stack of papers that were on the table, his mind was actually somewhere else.

He had a slight frown on his face... A frown of worry.

Creak.

The door suddenly opened with a slight creak, and a lady walked into the office.

Her long black hair swayed lightly, with a few strands partially covering her closed eyes.

Orion's expression instantly brightened a bit as soon as he saw her.

Without saying anything, she sat down on the chair at the other side of the table.

"Still worried?" she asked, her voice calm.

Orion sighed. "What do you think? I have every reason to be worried."

He stared at the Assistant Principal before adding, "Do you think I did the right thing?"

The Assistant Principal smiled before resting her elbows on the table, leaning forward slightly.

"Do you think you did the wrong thing?" she replied with a question.

"No," Orion replied instantly. "I have every reason to believe that three of them ran away. And moreover, the King said it himself that if any student disobeyed his orders, then it should be reported to him."

"Well... Since you feel like you did the right thing, then you don't have to worry anymore," the Assistant Principal said.

Orion furrowed his brows. "But... What's bothering me the most is Miss Riya's sudden disappearance."

"Do you think she ran away with the three students?" the Assistant Principal asked with an amused smile on her face.

"Who knows?" Orion replied. "But one thing I know is that the King won't let this slide..."

The Assistant Principal suddenly chuckled.

She leaned closer to Orion before whispering:

"What if I told you that it won't be easy to catch them...? What would be your response...?"

"Huh? What do you mean...?"

"Ahh... I'm getting faster at this," Arin muttered to himself as he stared at the Magic Circle before him.

He was currently in his Water Element Mana Space and was making a new Spell.

The Water Pillar Spell.

"I should be done in no time."

As he was about to continue, he suddenly remembered something.

"Wait... I haven't even checked the reward I received."

Arin quickly opened the system screen, and as expected, there was a red dot at the bottom of the screen.

He quickly concentrated on it, and the notification instantly appeared.

[Congratulations! You successfully turned a human into a Vampire for the first time!]

[Reward: One effect of your title has been upgraded!]

Arin's eyes scanned the system screen, reading through the details.

[Title: Harbinger of Chaos.]

[Harbinger of Chaos.]

[You are the one who brings Chaos. You shape and mold it, disrupting events, causing destruction and confusion, hereby earning the Title, Harbinger of Chaos.]

Arin smiled, remembering the day he got this title.

"I got this title after Arthur's death because I was the one who caused the event that led to his death," Arin muttered. "Well... He's technically not dead, so..."

[Effect 1: With this Title, you are now even more connected to the Chaos Element, allowing you to perceive and absorb Chaos Mana faster and more efficiently.]

[Effect 2: Nullification of Side Effects.]

[Note: This particular effect of the Title does not apply to all side effects.]

"Hmm, it's the same as before... I'm not seeing any upgrade."

Though, he continued reading the notifications.

[Effect 3: A 3 percent boost to Chaos Element Spells.]

[Congratulations! Effect 3 has been upgraded.]

[Effect 3: A 6 percent boost to Chaos Element Spells.]

Arin's eyes widened slightly.

"6 percent boost... That's definitely a good increase."

He remembered that because of this title, his Arcane Chaos Spell was really effective.

But now that it was upgraded, his Chaos Element Spells would even be stronger and more effective.

"I can't wait to try the Chaotic Ember Spell. I bet it'll be really effective, especially with this 6 percent boost," Arin murmured.

Satisfied, he decided to exit the Mana Space for a while.

As usual, Roxanne was still standing near the window, staring outside.

She turned and smiled at Arin. "Welcome back."

"Thank you," Arin said.

"You should also practice with your Blood Energy," Seraphine said.

"That's true... I'll do that, but not now," Arin said.

He had something to do first.

He quickly accessed his inventory, and a paper instantly appeared on his hand.

It was the paper where he wrote the important events that would happen, and also the locations of important items.

"The rainy season is really, really close, and that's when...."

He opened the paper. His eyes quickly scanned everything until he finally landed on a certain line.

A smile bloomed on Arin's face as his eyes sparkled.

"Exactly... In the novel, a few days after the rainy season began, that was when it formed..."

"The Gravity Seed..."
