The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities-Chapter 418: The Arrival of My King (Part 2)
Su Yu, clad in silver armor, led thousands of troops, appearing impressively beneath the city walls.
Among the thousands, Han Jing spotted him at once.
In the clear sunlight, his silver armor reflected a soft, bright light, still appearing like a deity, as if a king had descended amid the smoke of war.
He seemed to feel her gaze, looking back at her from afar.
Amidst the masses, it seemed as if only they could see each other. She could even clearly see his deep eyes, with that trace of comforting light that made her feel suddenly at ease.
In this moment, the lingering confusion and helplessness that Han Jing felt over the past few days dissipated instantly.
He had returned, and with him there, everything would end in the best way.
Though they only looked at each other for a moment, this moment felt as beautiful as an eternity.
Below the city wall, the sounds of battle rose. The arrival of reinforcements inspired the soldiers’ morale, and lifting the siege of the Capital City became only a matter of time.
At this moment, An Chuxue, coming over with Yun Feng, finally arrived. Seeing that Su Yu had returned, she also breathed a sigh of relief: "Thank heavens!"
Then she looked at Han Jing: "Mirror, are you alright? Not seeing you all morning scared me to death!"
Han Jing shook her head: "I’m fine."
Then pointed at Han Yuxiao, who lay on the ground with a vacant stare, and said to An Chuxue, "Take her back first; it’ll be difficult to treat her if we’re late."
An Chuxue didn’t recognize Han Yuxiao and was startled by her bloodied, broken arm: "Who is she? What happened to her?"
Han Jing calmly replied: "Han Yuxiao."
An Chuxue panicked, pointing at Han Yuxiao and exclaiming: "Is it that shameless Han Yuxiao?"
An Chuxue initially wanted to curse Han Yuxiao, but seeing her broken arm, she couldn’t bring herself to do it. Yet, knowing Han Jing, even if she didn’t personally crush Han Yuxiao to death, it was unlikely she’d save her out of goodwill... a ghost?
"We’ll talk later; first, reattach her arm, or it will be completely useless," Han Jing said as she saw An Chuxue arrive, instructing Mu Jin to help carry Han Yuxiao to Yao Xiang Pavilion.
Now that Su Yu had returned, the war should soon end.
With forces fairly evenly matched, it was nearly impossible for the enemy to take the Capital City. Once the reinforcements from the east arrived in a couple of days, the enemy’s fate would be sealed.
An Chuxue, seeing Han Jing’s insistence, said no more. They hurriedly left with Han Yuxiao.
Su Xingyan stared blankly at the group, not a single person glanced his way, as if he did not exist.
Especially Han Jing... she even took care of and saved Han Yuxiao, who betrayed her so badly, but ignored him, who only wanted to protect her...

Below the city wall, the sounds of battle continued. Su Xingyan watched in confusion as if everyone had something to do, some mission to fulfill. But what about him? What should he do?
Was everything he did unnecessary?
Han Yuxiao remained as still as a wooden figure, eyes vacant, seemingly unaware of pain or the events happening around her. Even when they brought her back to Yao Xiang Pavilion and began tending to her wounds, she did not make a sound.
