There, inside the room, sat all the personal members of Kikugawa High School, the team that they just defeated yesterday. From Kaito, the boy who made a lot of trouble for Tsunemori High during the game and even far before that, Yusuke, the team's defensive specialist, to even the senior members who should be retired already like Suzuki, the team's captain, and Tachibana, the vice-captain, were there already. However, one common thing that they showed in their expression right now was unhappiness.

Well, they couldn't be blamed for this. After all, who would want to join the celebration party of the team that just defeated them yesterday? Hell, even Tsunemori players inside the room were also unhappy, not wanting their party to get spoiled by the strangers in front of them. After all, the game just happened yesterday, so the animosity between the two teams was still pretty high.

Right as the question came out of Yuki's mouth, everyone tensed immediately. A long, awkward silence fell inside the room as no one wanted to answer that. Hell, even Kaito, the loudmouthed boy, seemed to be quiet today, not wanting to respond to anything that any Tsunemori players uttered. Feeling awkward, Yuki approached Riku, the only one who was probably holding back his laughter and found this situation amusing, and asked in a whisper, "What the hell is going on here?"

"I don't know what exactly is going on here, but I absolutely love it!" The blonde boy giggled furiously like a little girl, and Yuki could only stare at his friend speechlessly. Fortunately, the boy recovered quickly, and while still holding his stomach from laughing too much, the setter explained, "Akira-jiisan just said that he invited Arisawa-sensei and the entire Kikugawa High team to join us today. If I don't know anything about him, I swear, my uncle is trying to gloat to his former disciple."

Even though they whispered to each other, since there was an awkward silence inside the room, everyone could hear their conversation loud and clear. Megumi, who was behind them, couldn't help but smack her forehead in exasperation, knowing full well that Riku knew what he was doing here and decided to add fuel to the fire. The blonde boy loved chaos too much for his own good.

True enough, all the Kikugawa High players were unhappy when they heard Riku badmouthing their coach. Suzuki, the team's captain, snorted coldly at Riku's words. "So, the head coach is your uncle, huh? Nepotism at its finest. Is that why you can get through the main team even if you are still a freshman? No wonder…" He said it mockingly.

"Ha?!" Some of the Tsunemori players who inherited the bad temperament of the former senior members of the team, like Ogawa and Koji, scowled, rising from their places, and were ready to fight instantly. "Care to say that again?!"

However, Suzuki wasn't intimidated. He just stared at those two coldly before saying, "You want me to do that again? Sure, let me do it. Your team is trash, letting a freshman get into the team just because his uncle is the team's coach. Honestly, your team should be investigated because of it." This time, even Megumi, the calmest person in the group, couldn't help but frown, not liking the harsh words coming out of Suzuki's mouth.

Fortunately, in terms of banter and trash talk, Yuki and Riku were not a paper tiger here. Hearing that, Riku just snorted amusedly before returning the favor. "Well, the trash you are talking about managed to defeat your team yesterday, so what does that tell you about Kikugawa High? That they are lower than trash?"

"Also," Yuki added quickly. "Maybe, your team could consider something drastic like this, too. Maybe, you will find someone who is far better than Mister Captain over there, and I am sure you will not end up so badly like the yesterday game again in the future."

*Cough!*

Most of the Tsunemori players there coughed instinctively, holding back their laughter on the spot. Inwardly, they gave their kouhai a thumbs-up for the witty comeback that they threw. Of course, Kikugawa High players were not happy to hear that. Unfortunately, before they could say anything, two old men whom everyone was familiar with suddenly arrived, carrying a lot of food ingredients and cookware to use today.

"Oh, you have already met each other? I didn't expect that you would get along so quickly like this." Akira said with a faux surprise.

"Who is getting along with those guys?!" All of the people inside the room shouted, pointing their fingers at their opponent in anger. The two head coaches just smiled amusedly at their reaction, albeit Arisawa Junya's reaction was a bit stiff.

"Okay, okay, no need to be hostile like that! I know you guys have just played against each other yesterday, but everything should be over, right? Let's use this chance to get along well and make an acquaintance! Come on, everyone! Help me set up everything here!" Akira shouted.

Honestly, everyone was reluctant to get along here. For Tsunemori High players, the presence of the strangers in front of them was enough to ruin their appetite. As for Kikugawa High players, this was like a slap on their face, being forced to celebrate their opponent's win like this. Unfortunately, in front of the two old men who ran the team, they had to play nice here, or they would suffer in the next training session.

The next fifteen minutes passed by so slowly, with the awkward atmosphere hanging there still didn't dissipate. If anything, it only got worse, and even the two head coaches there could only sigh helplessly. Fortunately, the tension melted away as the smell of yakiniku grilled in the middle of the table and the sukiyaki boiled there making everyone drool in starvation. Seeing that the players started enjoying the food, Akira nodded, satisfied with this reaction.

"So… Jiisan…" Riku said as he still enjoyed his food. "Not that I am complaining for you to treat us, but is there any reason that you ask them to join other than gloating on their defeat yesterday?" He asked curiously.

Akira sighed helplessly at how blunt his nephew was with his words, never mincing his words. Some of the Kikugawa players glared fiercely at the boy, but since Tsunemori's setter was their coach's nephew, they didn't dare to make trouble here.

"Well, there is indeed a reason why I ask them to be here." Akira smiled a little. Everyone was curious about this, especially when they saw the sour expression on Arisawa Junya's face. "In fact, before the game began, Arisawa-kun and I made a bet, that whoever lost the game would have to help the winner to prepare themselves for the game against Matsuyama Kita High. So, since we are the winners, we will get help from Kikugawa High for the rest of the week, so I hope you all can get along with each other, okay?!"
