The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day-Chapter 447: Rehearsal
Summer Monroe didn’t understand why Willow Grant was putting on a sour face again. She chose to ignore Willow and waited for Holly Holloway to come out.
Holly’s face was flushed red, and she swallowed nervously, asking, "Summer, can I really do it?"
Summer gave a faint smile and said, "Of course. I’ll talk to the school, so you don’t have to show your face. When the freshman event happens, you can just sit backstage and paint."
Holly sighed in relief and thanked her, "Thank you, Summer..."
"We’re on the same side, no need to thank me." Summer’s warm smile gave Holly a strong sense of security.
At that moment, Willow walked up, speaking cynically, "Looks like you have a knack for winning hearts, huh? Attracting both men and women. Impressive, I must say."
Summer met her gaze with a half-smile, half-not, "What can I say? I’m just naturally charming and likable. If you’re interested, I can offer a class to teach you how to be liked."
"You—" Willow was furious, "You bitch!"
Just as Summer was about to respond, Leo Cheney stepped forward and said, "Willow Grant, if I hear you cursing again, I’ll have to deduct moral education points from you. Twelve points mean a penalty, so watch yourself."
Willow didn’t understand why Leo was siding with Summer. Her face was even darker, more convinced than ever that Summer was a flirt who seduced everyone. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
"Let’s go," Summer reminded, "We don’t want to miss the rehearsal."
She didn’t need the rehearsal, but Holly did.
Leo nodded at Summer, ignoring Willow, and led her and Holly towards the auditorium.
Willow followed them, fuming and frustrated, but there was nothing she could do.
With Leo around, she didn’t dare curse at Summer again.
If she got a penalty, what would Susan Stone think of her?
She urged herself to be patient and planned to invite Susan to the freshman event. Then Susan would see the difference between her and Summer!
The group of four soon reached the auditorium.
The rehearsal order was by class, and when Summer arrived, it was almost her class’s turn.
The teacher in charge of rehearsals hurried over, slightly annoyed, asking, "Why are you only arriving now? The other classes have all gone through a round of practice."
Summer was about to apologize, but Willow looked aggrieved and said, "I’m sorry, teacher, our homeroom teacher is quite strict."
"Who’s your homeroom teacher?"
"Professor Osborne."
The rehearsal teacher seemed to understand and calmed down, saying, "In that case, you might as well wait a bit and do two rounds of practice after everyone else is finished."
"Okay." Willow nodded, her smile sweet.
Summer could only feel speechless beside her.
In front of Mio Osborne, Willow acted so obediently, but turned around and sold Mio out. Truly a good student of Mio Osborne!
Wonder how Mio would feel if he found out?
Summer didn’t say a word and led Holly to take a seat in the audience.
Holly couldn’t help but whisper, "Summer, why is Willow like that? Professor Osborne treats her so well... How could she say that about him?"
Summer shrugged with a smile, saying, "Ignore her. Since we’re late, the others are gone, so you don’t need to be nervous. By the way, are the sand painting materials ready?"
Holly nodded, "My dad said he’ll have a friend send them over, they should arrive soon."
As Holly spoke, her eyes suddenly lit up, and she pointed to the doorway, "My dad’s friend is here!"
Summer turned to look and saw Principal Payne’s shiny bald head.
