Chapter 135: Chapter 135: It’s been too long, I don’t remember anymore

Xu Yisen moved the sashimi platter in front of him to Munni, "The scallops and tuna you like."

"Yeah, thank you."

Fujino Doxu glanced at his subtle little action, a meaning-laden smile suddenly appeared at the corner of his lips... Is it really possessiveness?

The three of them said very little during the meal, quietly dining, and the atmosphere was very warm and harmonious.

After dinner, Fujino Doxu helped clean the dishes and table before bidding farewell to Munni. Before leaving, he reminded, "I heard it might snow tonight, and it will get colder tomorrow. Remember to stay warm if you go out."

Munni nodded, "Got it, hurry back, be safe, and keep warm yourself. If you need anything, just call me."

Fujino Doxu, about to leave, paused slightly at her words, turned back with a bright smile and said, "The babysitter is reliable, no need for you."

Munni couldn’t help but chuckle, waving him off, pretending to be impatient in urging him to leave.

As Fujino Doxu left, Xu Yisen received a call from Tang Haoliang. Whatever Tang Haoliang said made Xu Yisen hang up and also prepare to leave.

Munni nodded and reminded him at the door, "Please take good care of Bruce for me."

"Definitely." Xu Yisen, standing outside, replied and instinctively reached out to gently pat Munni’s head. "Do you remember what you told me ten years ago after watching ’Roman Holiday’?"

Munni blinked lightly, her long, curled eyelashes fluttering like butterfly wings, and a trace of surprise quickly flashed through the star-like eyes beneath her lashes.

She avoided Xu Yisen’s gaze, shook her head, "It’s been too long, I don’t remember."

Xu Yisen saw she was lying but didn’t expose her. He placed his hands on Munni’s shoulders.

Munni instinctively looked up at him, his clear eyes like the brilliance of a galaxy, capturing her attention, with a deep, moving tenderness flowing within them as he gazed at her.

He gently opened his thin lips, "Then let me remind you."

Pausing, he continued, "Munni, I like you."

Simple six words yet imbued with countless deep feelings, so sincere and genuine.

Ten years passed, yet it was as if they exchanged roles, the confessor becoming the confessed.

Munni watched Xu Yisen with a crack of shock in her eyes, taking several seconds to recover from the surprise.

She softly called Xu Yisen’s name, "Yisen."

"Yeah."

Munni reached to free Xu Yisen’s hands from her shoulders, slowly looked up at him again, a mischievous smile fleeting across her exquisite red lips like a gentle ripple on the lake’s surface.

She stepped back three paces, and before Xu Yisen realized it, she reached out and closed the door.

Xu Yisen blinked slowly, staring at the firmly closed door, Munni’s figure already hidden behind it.

"Goodbye." Munni’s melodious voice came through the intercom.

Xu Yisen chuckled silently, his soft laughter transmitted through the intercom to Munni’s ears, causing her to unconsciously smile faintly in return, as if infected.

"Goodnight." Xu Yisen’s smiling voice softly floated into the room.

Munni didn’t respond, holding a smile at the corner of her mouth, she turned back to her room.

Returning to her room, she suddenly remembered what Xu Yisen mentioned about social media moments, so she picked up her phone from the bedside table and opened WeChat moments.
