Elder Rose looked at Iris. She was not sure what to feel about her because this woman was supposed to be her lost granddaughter and now, she just gave birth and was having twins.

She wanted to confirm something, a lot of questions was in her mind and their tensed conversation during the war couldn’t yield anything.

She had tried to think of a way of how to get closer to her, but the protection around the luna was insane. More so, she couldn’t have a talk with her without making the situation awkward.

On the other hand, Iris didn’t seem to care about Elder Rose, even though both of them knew they were related.

Just like usual. Iris had Cane sat next to her and her four protectors were behind her, Cedric included. Elder Xarex and Elder Dandolf stared daggers at the knight, while Cedric looked as calm as ever.

"There is nothing you could do to stop the poisonous miasma," Elder Dandolf said. He looked calm like usual, even though Rei was still missing, which put Iris on alert.

The elders had secured a ship to go back to Andelus continent, but their problem was with Abby, because she refused to go with them and chose to stay in this wretched continent. She must not think straight.

"Give me the air magic stone," Iris said, she didn’t want to have a small talk with them, neither she wanted to have a discussion, because she knew it would go nowhere. "I know you have the air magic stone."

Aliana had confirmed this, she saw a small pocket was being handed over in turn among the elders when they purified the poisonous miasma. Abby also had confirmed the same thing.

It was already weird enough for the elders to have the ability, but with the air magic stone, it was possible.

"The audacity!" Elder Xarex stood up, his face turned red. Iris didn’t even ask for the magic stone, but she demanded it. "How dare you demanded something that belonged to the Holy Kingdom?"

"Can you change the name? It irked my ear to hear you kept saying holy this, holy that. There is nothing holy about you and your nefarious kingdom," Lou said, irritated.

Iris immediately cut off Elder Xarex’s retort when she saw the old man was going to have a quarrel with Lou. "The air magic stone belonged to the Serafim. I don’t care, who you thought as the real Serafim between me and Abby, you can choose to whom you will hand the stone over between us."

The way Iris said it was almost akin to an announcement that Abby was part of them right now.

"This stone is not something trivial that we can hand over as we pleased!" Elder Xarex stood up, he slammed his hand on the table, fuming and this attitude was not welcomed by Cane and the other. "We have saved your people! Is this how you repaid us?!"

"We have provided a lot of things for you and your useless knights, not to mention you brought that nefarious Rei with you, oh, have I mentioned that you and your people, your Holy Kingdom, should be the one, who dealt with Decratic? But, instead we have to bear the brunt of it, we even killed him. How will you repay us?" Lou emphasized the word ’holy kingdom’ in a mocking tone.

Left it to the merchant to recount everything. If Elder Xarex was trying to be calculative, the merchant could teach him how to be a proper calculative person.

"Should I count how much we have lost because of your incompetency?" Lou asked, which shut Elder Xarex immediately and Elder Dandolf tried different approach.

Unfortunately for the elders, Cane and his people didn’t have time for their game, they wouldn’t play in it. Just like Rei and Decratic, they used the same method every time and the shifters didn’t have the patient for that.

"Elder Rose has it," Iris said, she wanted to see her babies, she didn’t want to prolong this futile meeting.

Iris knew the air magic stone was with Elder Rose, because she could sense it, at first, she was slightly confused because the air magic stone sensed differently from the rest of the magic stone, she had never encountered one after all and it was the only one in the whole realm, but now she was sure it was with Elder Rose.

Zephyr and Kian, who stood behind Elder Rose immediately held her, while Lou took the magic stones from her, there was this ruckus when Elder Xarex and Elder Dandolf wanted to retaliate, but Cane took care of them with the black wisp.

"Pardon my impertinence," Lou said, but people would know that he didn’t mean what he said, as he got a small pouch from Elder Rose’s pocket. "So, this is the air magic stones?"

Lou walked over and handed the pouch to Iris.

"You have crossed the line! You weighed a war against us if you didn’t let us go now!" Elder Xarex was livid, because they were treated so poorly. He tried to get away from Cane’s black wisp, but without the magic stone, they didn’t have the power to fight back. "You are going to pay this rudeness once we went back to Holy Kingdom!"

"Take them to the dungeon," Cane said. Dean then walked out of the room to call the other warriors to take care of the elders and dragged them to the dungeon.

"You shouldn’t have made a threat like that when you don’t have any power, you know." Lou grinned when the elders cursed at Cane and tried to make Abby helped them, but she didn’t budge.

"Abby, will you not do anything?! I am still your mother!" Elder Rose screamed when Dean twisted her arms, since she didn’t stop fighting back.

Abby looked at her coldly, you could see the resolution in her eyes. "You stopped being my mother long time ago and you proved it to me again and again that you only saw me as your daughter when it’s convenient with you."

Elder Rose looked hurt when she heard that, she shifted her attention to Iris, but what she expected from the luna?

Once the commotion died down with the three elders had gone, Iris took the stone out of the pouch and stared at it. She felt this surge of power when she touched it.

"Have you ever used this stone?" Iris asked Abby. The elders had used the stone countless time, but not only the air magic stone didn’t turn useless, but actually it amplified its power.

"No. I have never touched it before," Abby admitted and this surprised Iris.

"The air magic stone was with the pure faction before this, but I think the elders managed to get it from Rei’s hand somehow," Cedric explained the situation briefly when he saw how uncomfortable Abby was. She still felt insecure with her incompetence and how little she was matter in the Holy Kingdom.

However, before the discussion could happen, the ground was shaking, it was a terrible earthquake and outside, people screamed in panic.
