The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter-Chapter 1010: SIDE STORY (LOU): TOUCH ME
Chapter 1010: SIDE STORY (LOU): TOUCH ME
Nala didn’t know what to say at this point, she only stared at Lou in disbelieve. He was going to be with Iris, even though it was very clear that he would be an afterthought.
"You know that the queen will never see you in the same way you saw her, right?"
"I am not that dumb, Nala. I figured that out long time ago." Lou stretched his body. He still looked the same. Magic users tended to age very slow.
"Then why?" Nala felt like crying, but she held herself back. She had bottled up this emotion for so long. She was no longer her younger self, who would cry in the drop of a hat and become very impulsive. "You can have a family here, with me, with our child. We can build a life together."
"That’s the problem Nala." Lou looked at her, grinning and for a moment, Nala wanted to sucker punch his face. "I don’t want a family. I had one and that’s so bad."
"We can make it better."
"But, I still don’t want it."
"You don’t have place in her life, Lou, you know that too."
"I don’t have place anywhere, Nala."
Lou was determined that he was going to leave and there was no amount of talk that could persuade him otherwise. Nala knew since the very beginning that it was a lost argument for her.
"I only wanted to tell you that if you insisted to have that baby, you are on your own." Lou sighed deeply. "But, if you agreed to get rid of it, I will take you to Andelus continent with me."
"What will I get?" Nala felt very bitter. "Will I still be someone who warm your bed?"
"You make it sounds so bad." Lou frowned. "You will come with me and we are... just like we always are."
Nala’s chest tightened, she was not going to let this affect her, but his answer really broke her heart into million pieces and she didn’t want to cry in front of him.
"Let’s come with me, Nala. You have been living in this continent for your whole life, don’t you want to see the world out there? The world beyond the sea?" Lou looked excited with his suggestion. "I am already used to have you around. Come with me."
Nala pressed her lips, she made a point. "I can only come with me if I got rid of the baby?"
"Yes." Lou glanced at her little bump. "I don’t want a child. I don’t want a family."
"You only want someone that you are familiar with," Nala concluded it for him.
"Exactly."
The decision was not easy, the words were heavy and once it left her lips, she felt like she was going to take it back, but Nala stilled her heart.
"I choose my baby." Nala clenched her fists. "I choose my child. I am going to have my baby and if it meant it will be the end of it, so be it."
Lou stopped smiling, his expression turned serious. "You chose the baby over me."
"I chose my baby over everything else." Nala felt her heart was torn apart.
It was not only Lou, who used to have her around, the feeling was mutual. They had been together for so long, it was so hard not to have each other anymore.
They didn’t put a name in this weird relationship, but it didn’t mean their feeling was not real, but no matter how hard Nala tried, if Lou didn’t let her in, it wouldn’t work.
"It’s a goodbye then?" Lou crossed his arms in front of his chest. He stared at the woman before him. It was a weird feeling that he had for her.
Meanwhile, Nala tiptoed and pecked his lips, while whispering to his lips. "Goodbye, Lou. Those years I have spent with you were the best moment in my life."
And after saying that, Nala turned around and left, but Lou could feel how her shoulders trembled, she was crying silently, the sight of her back looked so pitiful. She looked so small and defeated.
However, the coronation was around the corner and for the past three days, Lou didn’t see Nala at all, because she moved from their shared bedroom. He knew for sure that she didn’t lack of anything, because she had access to his fortune and she could use them as she pleased.
At first, Lou thought Nala would go somewhere else, but she chose to stay in an inn, in which Lou bought the inn, so she didn’t need to pay the rent.
"Are you crazy?" Redmond scrunched his nose in disgust. "You bought an inn just because she is staying there? If you wanted to be that crazy, why don’t you just raise your own child? I bet it will be one of the craziest experiences you could have."
"Someone like you will not understand about investment," Lou grumbled. "Buying a property in a capital city is good, because the value of it will raise every year."
Redmond scoffed. "Yeah, say that to yourself and I want to see how convince you are with your own words."
Lou ignored his remark. "More so, I don’t want to have a child. What benefit I will get to have a drooling baby?"
Redmond scowled at him. "I am happy, you know."
"Don’t tell me that when you yourself didn’t want the baby in the first place."
But right at that time, a little girl rushed toward Redmond with opened arms. She smiled at the redhead warrior, giggling as she hugged her father.
"Papa!" Nadia kissed Redmond’s cheek and hugged him tightly, while her brother and sister approached them.
Nadia was Redmond’s second daughter, Sofia gave birth to her five years ago. They didn’t expect this pregnancy, but Redmond had fallen head over heel from the first moment of Sofia’s pregnancy, because this would be his first experience to watch closely how the baby grew and witness Sofia’s baby bump, feeling his baby first move and so many more.
Redmond bragged about that to Lou.
"Enough! Go to hell, Red!" Lou stormed off, he didn’t like to be told.
However, when he returned to his bedroom, he became more upset, because he was alone. Sabian had died and his twin brother had died a year prior, Nala was not here and he couldn’t go to Iris, since she was busy with Cane.
He had spent so many hours with Zander, Zenitha and Zaya, and now there was nothing he could do, but stared at the ceiling.
"Damn it, why my life is so boring."
Out there was the preparation for the coronation, people were talking excitedly and they were in high spirit, many people came, but all Lou wanted to do was to hide, until he couldn’t take it anymore and go out.
He met with a few merchants, but the conversation ran dry. They talked about the same thing over and over again, bragging about their wealth and women.
"Give me that woman," Lou said to one of the merchants. Because Cane created a new rule in this continent, a brothel was a legal activity and these merchants, who came here, needed to bring their own women to meet their needs.
"Go to him."
A woman with black hair that reached her waist approached Lou with her coquettish smile, she followed him to the room next door and started to strip off her dress, standing naked in front of him, while he sat down on a chair, stared blankly at the beauty.
"Do you want me to undress you?" She asked, sitting on his lap and started to grind herself against him, but Lou didn’t answer her, thus she took the initiative to take off his clothes.
The woman tried so hard to make him excited, she kissed him, touched him and did everything, but it didn’t arouse Lou at all.
"What the hell?!" The woman finally frustrated, she was tired already, but Lou didn’t cooperate. "Are you dysfunctional?"
Lou frowned, that was an insult, but he was worried as well. "Maybe because you are not attractive enough to get me hard."
The woman stormed out of his room, cursing on her way out and slammed the door.
Lou scratched his head and stared at his member that was still soft. "Damn it, what a waste of beauty." He flicked his member, annoyed. "What the hell? Is it broken?"
Didn’t know what to do, Lou dressed up and strolled around the capital city, but his legs took him to the inn he just bought recently.
"What are you doing here?" Nala frowned to see Lou standing outside of her door, but the merchant said nothing and went inside the room.
Nala was immune with his weird behavior, thus she didn’t feel uncomfortable, only a little bit worry, because Lou didn’t look like usual.
But, when she went inside, she found Lou was laying down on her bed.
"Excuse me, if you wanted to sleep, you can find another room. You bought this inn after all." Of course, Nala knew about that.
Lou opened his eyes and then tilted his head to look at her. "Hey, can you touch me?"
"What?"
"Touch me." Lou repeated his word again, as if there was nothing wrong with that. "Come here, hurry and touch me."
However, Nala was having none of it, she grabbed a pillow and started to beat him up. "Get out! Get out from my room!"
"Hey! You don’t need to be so violent like this!"
