Talentless Extra Of The Legendary Hero Academy-Chapter 180: Back
Chapter 180: Back
But more than that, there are only few views that could be held. Severin already held the view that pain is twisting. He could only hold two more views on pain.
From what he read from Dolor’s memory and his use of the pain power, he could say pain is piercing.
Severin smiled. "How do you come to view that pain is twisting but you don’t seem to use it like I do, Dolor? You use twisting pain in another form.
"You are indeed cruel."
Dolor glared with hatred. "Pain is cruel. It’s only my nature that I am cruel."
Severin smiled. He had gained a lot, more than he expected. But. "How do I manage the power with that of my body?"
Dolor shook his head. "You are a mortal. You are not God. Your body is against the power. If you don’t do something about it, the power will drain your body until it crumbles into dust."
"What are you talking about?" Severin whispered.
Dolor snorted. "You only took part of my powers. You do not consume the vassal to hold it."
Severin’s eyes shone. "You... you mean I need to get your body."
Dolor didn’t reply. He only smiled.
Severin narrowed his eyes. "This is a good way to lure me to Sector Delta."
"Yes, it is," Dolor admitted. "But it is also a way for you to make your body more accepting to the power. Unlike most powers, pain would only continue to grow. Pain is everywhere. The first emotion that can’t be ended."
Severin nodded thoughtfully. "I’m baffled by something, Dolor. If pain is the first emotion, as you said, then you should be very old, and very, very powerful. You should not be a low general for Aberrant Singularity.
"Then, what are you?"
Dolor looked away. "Gods and gods change. They aren’t constant. They die, killed by their kin. Do you know how many gods and Gods die every time?
"They die in the thousands. They change all times and all ways. Just like how empires fall and fell."
Severin looked at him curiously. "Are you saying, Dolor, that gods can kill each other and take their powers for themselves?"
Dolor looked at him without speaking.
"Even ice and fire can kill each other and take their powers from each other? There’s no contradicting?"
Dolor sighed. "Then a new thing will form. A thing of fire and water.
"There is a single law that existed since the time of the beginning. It is the law of winners taking all. The question is though, can you kill a God? Can you kill a god?"
Severin bowed. "I have learned a lot from you, Dolor. Thank you."
Dolor snorted. "I regret the day you were chosen for planting the seed in you. But then it’s fated. Reignhart. We will meet again."
Severin paused. He felt something in Dolor’s voice. "What do you mean by calling that name? Reignhart? What does the name mean to you?"
Something flickered in Dolor’s eyes, too fast for Severin to catch, but he saw it, and his suspicion about something he had began to grow even more.
Dolor only smirked. "You’ll find out, won’t you?"
"Now! Get out!"
Power flowed with his words and it shook the space. Empty space cracked around Severin and everything turned dark. Dolor had ejected him from the space.

"He’s almost always the one to wake up. It’s as if I know this will happen already," Derrick snorted. His hands were folded in front of him. His behavior was still the same, but there was a sense of danger and readiness that clung to him as if he was ready to leap into fight at any time.
"You can’t just say something like that," Celia said quietly. Out of all of them, she had the most drastic change. Her passion for fighting seemed to have turned into something that was like still waters.
Julius frowned, his hand raised but it only touched his glasses in a single tap. "I say. We don’t know what he’s going through in there, but he’s quite calm. There’s no flicking of the eyelids."
Serena nodded. She was the only one that looked troubled among them as if she had a lot in her mind to think about. "We can only give him time."
They all woke at the same time, leaving only Severin alone in the caskets. None of them shared what happened in the Etherion space, as if they had come into a tacit agreement not to.
Ethan stood with his fists clenching and unclenching. Of all of them, he was the only one with the most physical change. He looked different. He stood with his back straighter, and the dark circles below his eyes were no longer there.
Ethan’s stomach rumbled and he smiled sheepishly. "I need to eat."
"Me too!"
"And me!"
"Add me!"
"I will eat too."
They all froze.
A familiar voice that shouldn’t have joined just added his own. They looked towards the caskets and saw him, Severin Reignhart, looking at them quietly with blue eyes. freēnovelkiss.com
"Let’s eat."

Miret found them much later.
And he led them up back to his main house where they were served food.
But before they ate, they washed and changed their clothes. Then they sat in silence and ate. And for the longest time, all they did was eat while Miret stood there and watched them with curiosity. The only sound was that of utensils clinking with ceramics.
Derrick broke the silence first. "I am now a C-ranked."
Instantly, Serena and Celia frowned.
Serena snorted. "I thought I would be the only one to advance in a rank."
"I thought the same as well," Celia added.
They continued eating. Then Julius paused. "Well, I didn’t advance my rank. You know, the higher you are already, the more difficult it is to advance."
Derrick pointed at him. "But you must have gained something."
Julius smiled. "And so I have."
