System: Replicating The Heavens-Chapter 516: Ch : Liquid of Death
Alex fell silent after hearing Fritz’s words. He stood there quietly with unfocused eyes, as if his thoughts had drifted far away. What Fritz had said was not light at all. A promise made to a dying True Immortal was heavier than mountains, especially when it involved the Celestial Race.
Because the Celestial Race is loved by the Universe itself. Any promise made to a member of the Celestial Race is equal to making a promise to the Universe’s Will itself.
After thinking for a while, Alex already had a clear answer in his heart. The treasure Fritz mentioned could only be one thing: the Liquid of Death. It was a treasure of the same level as the Stone of Tomorrow, the Heavenly Spirit Stone, and the Stone of Immortality. Among all the treasures on Fritz’s body, this was the only one Alex had failed to replicate. That alone proved how extraordinary it was.
Moreover, Alex clearly noted the word "battlefield".
Fritz had accidentally stumbled onto a battlefield, where he encountered a dying True Immortal. That True Immortal not only passed down his inheritance to Fritz, but also gave him a chance to transform into a member of the Celestial Race.
From what Alex could infer, the war fought on that battlefield was most likely triggered by the appearance of the Liquid of Death.
Although the True Immortal ultimately won the battle and obtained the Liquid of Death, he had paid the greatest price possible for that victory—his own life.
Alex took a deep breath, slowly lifted his head, and looked at Fritz. Finally, he said, "It doesn’t matter."
Fritz was stunned and looked at him in confusion.
"I’ll help you fulfill your promise. I will make sure to bring you to the Celestial Race and help you return the treasure to that True Immortal’s daughter. How about it?"
Fritz’s heart shook when he heard those words. He wanted to say something, but Alex raised his hand and interrupted him.
"But before that, you must accept this mission and come with me to the Sanctuary."
Fritz frowned slightly and fell into hesitation. The Sanctuary was located in the Nine Realms Galactic Empire. Going there would definitely take time. Time was exactly what he lacked the most right now.
However, when he looked at Alex, his hesitation slowly faded.
As far back as he could remember, Alex had always been someone he could trust. No matter what promise Alex made, he had never broken it. Not even once. If Alex said he would help him fulfill that promise in due time, then he would definitely do it.
Alex was always true to his words.
After a long silence, Fritz finally let out a breath and nodded. "Alright, I’ll accept the mission."
Alex smiled faintly.
While confirming the mission, Fritz suddenly looked at Alex again and asked, "But tell me, why do you want to take this mission so badly?"
Alex’s expression turned serious. He couldn’t help but recall a beautiful face.
"Asna is there," he said slowly. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Fritz looked at him in confusion. Seeing his expression, Alex explained, "She is Alicia’s rebirth. But for some reason, she hasn’t recovered her past life memories yet. I need to go to the Sanctuary and meet her. I want her to remember who she truly is."
Fritz stared at Alex with widened eyes, and for a moment, he didn’t know what to say.
He finally understood why Alex accepted this mission. No wonder he was willing to push forward without hesitation.
Finally, Fritz slowly nodded again in understanding and said, "Then let’s go. If it’s for her, I’ll walk this road with you."
After a while, Fritz and Alex decided to meet directly at the border transit of the Frozen Star Galaxy before saying goodbye to each other.
Alex also disconnected his connection to the Virtual Universe and returned to reality.

Alex, Serena, Selyara, and Elyndra soon gathered together in one place. Cyr was also there, standing in front of them with a calm but slightly serious expression.
"Everyone, there’s something I need to tell you."
Cyr had gathered everyone here for a while now. Seeing that the time was right, he said. "I think you know who my father is by now. He wants to meet all of you. I hope all of you can meet him once."
Everyone was a little surprised when they heard his words.
After all, Cyr’s father was not an ordinary person. He was the true controller of the entire Star Essence World, someone who stood at the very top of this place. Such an existence rarely bothered to meet outsiders.
Why would he suddenly want to see them?
Just because they were Cyr’s companions?
Serena’s expression remained calm. She could vaguely guess one or two possible reasons behind this meeting.
Selyara and Elyndra exchanged a glance before lightly shaking their heads. They didn’t think too deeply about it. To them, meeting or not meeting someone like Cyr’s father didn’t change much.
As for Alex, his reaction was completely different.
He was actually eager.
As the true ruler of this world, Cyr’s father’s strength had to be terrifying. At the very least, he would be a Great Saint, or perhaps even a Saint King. An expert of that level would naturally possess extraordinary treasures. Just thinking about it made Alex’s heart stir slightly. If he could gain access to even one such treasure, his strength might rise another step.
After a brief moment of silence, everyone nodded in agreement.
Since Cyr’s father wanted to meet them, there was no reason to refuse.
Not to mention, refusing such an expert’s request might anger him. No matter what, as long as they are staying in this world, maintaining a good relationship with the Mistveil Family would only bring benefits.
Without wasting any more time, Cyr turned around and led them forward. They moved deeper into the Mistveil Estate, passing through layer after layer of formations and grand corridors.
Before long, a massive hall appeared before them. This was the main hall of the Mistveil family. It is also the place where the head of the Mistveil Family was waiting for them.
