Sweet Wife So Charming: CEO: Hold Back Your Heart-Chapter 273: Lovestruck
As soon as she got in the car, Moira Young couldn’t hold back any longer and hurriedly asked, "Where’s the gift? What is it?"
Seeing her eager expression, Julian Sinclair’s eyes were full of affection. He then took out a delicate gift box from behind and handed it to Moira Young. "Open it and see."
Moira Young suspiciously accepted it, carefully untied the pink ribbon on top, and after opening the box, she couldn’t help but exclaim, "A brooch!"
"Do you like it?" Julian Sinclair ruffled her hair.
"How did you know I liked this?" Moira Young’s big eyes sparkled as she recalled passing by a jewelry store a few days ago with Julian, when she took a liking to this brooch.
However, at that time, she hadn’t planned to forgive Julian Sinclair, nor did she have the nerve to ask for it, so she didn’t expect him to notice.
Moira Young held the brooch in her hand, admiring it from every angle, thoroughly loving it.
She didn’t notice that there were two familiar initials engraved at the bottom of the brooch, ME.
Julian Sinclair smiled warmly and casually said, "A return gift."
A return gift? What return gift?
Moira Young was utterly puzzled.
However, Julian Sinclair didn’t explain further and asked her, "What do you feel like eating?" after checking the time.
"Nothing specific comes to mind, you decide." Moira Young tilted her head, thinking she couldn’t really come up with anything, so she left the decision to Julian Sinclair.
Julian Sinclair didn’t say anything, just nodded slightly and then stepped on the gas pedal.
Upon reaching their destination, Julian Sinclair walked in skillfully, with both the waiters and the lobby manager showing great respect towards him.
Moira Young thought to herself, it seems Julian Sinclair is a regular here.
"Mr. Sinclair, President Grant is already waiting for you in the private room." A waiter said to Julian Sinclair.
"Mm, I know." Julian Sinclair responded expressionlessly, holding Moira Young’s hand and walking inside.
Mr. Grant? Moira Young looked up and asked him, "Is it Adrian?"
Julian Sinclair smiled slightly, "Yes."
She jokingly said, "You tricked me, you had already planned this and still asked me what I wanted to eat."
"Are you angry?" Julian Sinclair didn’t defend himself, holding her small hand with a smile, "This restaurant just opened; we’re here to support them."
"Could it be Adrian’s restaurant?" Considering how the waiter addressed Julian Sinclair and Adrian Grant earlier, she suddenly realized.
Julian Sinclair nodded slightly, "If you don’t want to eat here, we can leave now."
Moira Young quickly grabbed his big hand and laughed, "How could I not want to? I haven’t seen him for a while, and I kind of miss him."
Saying that, she eagerly headed for the private room, but Julian Sinclair firmly held her waist, making it impossible for her to move.
Moira Young pouted unhappily, letting out a soft yelp in pain, "Why are you holding me so tight? It hurts."
"No thinking about other men besides me," Julian Sinclair declared dominantly, a warning glint in his ink-black eyes.
"Adrian is not an outsider," Moira Young muttered softly.
Julian Sinclair tightened his arm around Moira Young by a couple more notches, very sternly saying, "I mean it!"
Her slender waist was aching, so Moira Young had to give in, "Okay, okay, I won’t think about him, alright? Just let go!"
Hearing Moira Young say that, Julian Sinclair finally loosened his hold, curling his lips in satisfaction, "That’s my good Moira."
They opened the door and entered, where Adrian Grant had been waiting for quite some time. Seeing them, he couldn’t help but complain, "It’s been more than an hour, it’s a good thing I haven’t ordered the food yet, otherwise it would’ve gotten cold."
"Adrian, is this the little sister you mentioned?" Vivian Grant, affectionately holding Adrian Grant’s arm, looked Moira Young up and down, a hint of mockery flashing in her eyes.
Adrian Grant looked proud, "So? Didn’t I say she was beautiful? Didn’t let you down, did I?"
Vivian Grant chuckled warmly, "Yes, very beautiful. I saw her commercials, she looks even better in person than on TV."
"Not just better, but a hundred times more beautiful." Adrian Grant praised Moira Young without reservation, thinking if he had known she would grow up like this, he wouldn’t have been able to keep his hands off her.
"Indeed." Vivian Grant smiled, not continuing the conversation.
Julian Sinclair slightly furrowed his brows and took a seat with Moira Young. Since entering, Moira Young hadn’t spoken a word, her gaze fixed on Vivian Grant, instinctively feeling dislike towards her.
Seeing everyone had arrived, Adrian Grant called the waiter to serve the food.
Since Adrian Grant is the boss, the kitchen didn’t dare to slack off, serving them quickly and in abundance, with all the restaurant’s specialty dishes on offer.
As the owner, Adrian Grant enthusiastically urged Moira Young to eat, "Moira, this is the clay pot pig’s trotters, rich in collagen, perfect for young girls like you."
As he spoke, he signaled the waiter to place a piece of pig’s trotter in Moira Young’s bowl. Moira Young nodded politely, "Thank you, Adrian."
Nonetheless, she didn’t pick up her chopsticks.
Julian Sinclair whispered in her ear, "What’s wrong? Don’t you like the food?"
Moira Young quietly quelled the impatience in her heart.
From the moment Julian Sinclair walked in, Vivian Grant’s eyes hadn’t left him, only snapping out of it when Adrian Grant spoke to her occasionally.
Moira Young despised such women and hated even more those who coveted what was hers. Seeing Vivian Grant reminded her of Fiona Rhodes, causing her face to darken, losing any appetite.
Yet, Vivian Grant didn’t care about any of this, her eyes firmly locked on Julian Sinclair, with admiration gleaming within them. Had it not been for Adrian Grant sitting beside her, she feared her soul would have already been completely captivated by Julian Sinclair.
Moira Young furrowed her brows tightly.
"Uncle, I have no appetite."
"Since you don’t want to eat, let’s go home." Julian Sinclair’s eye, like a sharp blade, swept across Vivian Grant’s face, the look of disgust in his eyes growing ever more apparent.
Frightened by one glance from Julian Sinclair, Vivian Grant shivered, feeling like she was plunged into an ice cellar, cold all over.
Such a terrifying gaze.
However, Adrian Grant wasn’t pleased, furrowing his brows, "You’ve just arrived and you want to leave? Not giving me any face?"
Julian Sinclair ignored him, preparing to leave with Moira Young.
Seeing this, Adrian Grant didn’t try to keep them, knowing that once Julian Sinclair decided on something, his opinion wouldn’t matter at all.
But Vivian Grant didn’t understand, standing up alluringly and flashing Julian Sinclair a smile, "Are you really leaving, Julian? Can I walk you out?" 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Seeing Vivian Grant about to approach, Moira Young grew increasingly annoyed, "What do you want?"
"Moira, I’m just thinking of seeing you and Julian off, isn’t that okay?" Vivian Grant said, her watery big eyes seeming somewhat aggrieved.
