Surviving in a School of Ghost Stories-Chapter 75
Melody looked up in surprise.
Soon, when no one was looking at her, she tilted her head in confusion.
She buried her head in her notebook again and continued to scribble.
Leonard kept thinking about the thumbs-up face in his head and was going crazy.
She was actually cute doing it.
‘Aren’t you studying anyway?’
She kept scribbling, flipping through her textbook with an uninterested look, or just staring at her fingernails.
Leonard was so smart that he was the best because he grew up in a good environment and received great support.
Even students who grew up in ordinary families would be rivals, so how could a commoner who grew up poor and an orphan be his rival?
If the Ramsport family told him this story, they would surely not believe it.
However, Leonard realized after seeing Melody actually studying.
Melody is just a genius. I could tell by looking at her. She was obviously naturally smart.
I was scared of how much more amazing she would become if she received proper education there.
That was when.
Square square square square square square square square square
The sound of the student sitting next to me frantically scribbling his quill was irritating.
Leonard frowned and turned his head to say something, but stopped.
He saw the student sitting next to him writing in a notebook with dense letters.
[(omitted)... ... History class is a subject of memorization. To memorize well, you need to have a good memory. However, I don’t have a good memory. Then, I have no choice but to write down the content to be memorized over and over again. I can’t even memorize how to memorize well, so I’m really stupid for writing down this content over and over again. However, I want to memorize well, so I can’t help it. In order to memorize well, I need to memorize what memorization is. Why is memorization memorization... ... (Omitted)]
Leonard quietly turned his head.
It seems like all the students are out of their minds because it’s exam time.
You have to understand. It’s exam time.
He shook his head and picked up his quill pen again.
Then he felt something strange under his legs and lowered his head. Then he saw a black cat passing under the table.
Did I see something wrong?
He rubbed his eyes and looked under the table again. But it was a cat.
‘It’s like the cat I saw during the courage test incident.’
He seemed to have seen it with Melody often. From what I’ve heard, it didn’t seem to be Melody’s cat.
Melody also looked under the table as if she had noticed the cat wandering around under her feet.
“Huh? Senior?”
‘Senior... ...?’
Leonard thought the cat’s name was Senior, but since he had heard Erica call it ‘Blackie’ before, he was curious.
“Maybe there’s a ghost story at last.......”
Melody spoke to the cat in a very small voice.
Then she looked around, hugged the cat, and disappeared somewhere.
Leonard rested his chin on his hand and quietly watched her back.
Should we follow her?
After a while, she disappeared between the bookshelves.
Leonard looked around. Then, the heads of the students in the library turned like waves. They must have been watching Leonard and Melody closely.
Leonard felt a little embarrassed, so he cleaned up his place and got up.
Yeah. I guess I should just go see what Melody was doing.
He walked in the direction where Melody had disappeared. As he looked around the library on the second floor, he found Melody in a corner.
She was crouching behind the bookshelf, holding the cat on her lap, and saying something.
Meow.
“Did you? But there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong here.”
Meow.
“I’ll keep an eye out for you first.”
Meow, meow.
“Yes, yes. But, Senior, I have to study too. I was just going to do it until you came.”
Meow.
“I’m studying hard.”
Meow.
“Cough. Did you see the picture? Th, that.......”
Melody Hastings was talking to the cat.
Leonard listened in to hear their story in more detail. Then,
Thump. Thud-
He knocked over a book that was incorrectly placed on the bookshelf.
Melody and the cat looked at him at the same time. The cat’s eyes were especially fierce.
He felt a cold sweat running down his face.
Why did the cat’s eyes look so human?
That was when Raven and Easton found Melody and Leonard.
In fact, it wasn’t Leonard who dropped the book. Raven pushed it from the other side and made it fall.
However, the two continued their conversation without even knowing that Raven and Easton were on the other side.
“Ramport? Why are you here? Did you follow me?”
Melody narrowed her eyes and asked him.
Meow.
The cat in her arms seemed {N•o•v•e•l•i•g•h•t} to be saying something.
“What’s going on right now?”
Raven asked Easton. Easton had no answer and kept his mouth shut.
How could he say that the cat was the student council president?
Eastern couldn’t talk when the student council president was in the cat’s body.
‘No matter how I look at it, it’s amazing.’
No matter how I looked at Melody talking to the student council president in the cat’s body, I couldn’t get used to it.
At that moment, Raven narrowed her eyes and glared at Leonard.
“What’s the situation? That senior followed Melody and followed her all the way here.”
Easton narrowed his eyes at Raven’s words and looked at Leonard.
Leonard was suddenly confused, having been accused of being a stalker.
That was when the strange phenomenon occurred.
Thud.
Thud.
Suddenly, books fell from a bookshelf in an empty direction.
Then, a commotion was heard from the direction where the tables where students were studying were gathered.
Soon, a wind blew from somewhere. The lights inside the room began to go out one by one because of the wind.
All the windows in the library were closed.
Easton swallowed hard.
It seemed that the ghost story had finally begun after a long time.
“What, what is this?”
Raven looked around with a puzzled expression.
At that moment, he saw Melody holding a cat in her arms and looking around from the corner.
“It’s started. I’ll find a medium.”
Melody muttered to herself and stroked the cat in her arms.
She walked toward the direction where the students were gathered, looking around.
Leonard, who followed Melody, was startled when he found Raven and Easton.
“You guys were there too.”
He then pointed to the cat Melody was holding with a serious face.
“Did you see that? Hastings talking to that cat?”
Raven nodded vigorously at his question. Easton couldn’t help but keep his mouth shut with a strange expression.
The three men quietly watched Melody’s back. She had a somewhat unapproachable aura about her right now.
