...
Glancing at Princess Yuridika for a moment, I let out a nod of affirmation—it’s because of something I managed to learn, though still at the basic level, and was put to use against these students who compromised their humanity by aligning with the demonkind.
[Lunar Swordsmanship]
A lost and unique swordsmanship of the Britanoia Empire, particularly of the Moon Goddess that Princess Yuridika worshipped, which she mastered at such a young age.
It utilized moonlight and symbolized serenity. Its nature was tranquility and partial concealment. It highlighted the nature of the night, where silence and darkness pervaded far from the eye of those who enjoyed light.
In other words, it’s a swordsmanship that specializes in ’silence’ and ’innocence,’ a perfect one for assassination without exuding any malice towards the intended subject of blood.
Looking at their bodies, with their legs severed as they bled towards their demise, I was reminded of the passages and their corresponding scenarios in the original as I tightened my grip on the ordinary steel sword.
The entirety of Class Mu was fated to die, and similar to the consequence of their disappearance, no bodies of theirs were recovered.
It was vague, but considering Zion’s [Talents] and identity of being from the Fire Elemental Family, I could surmise that their bodies were burned into ashes without leaving a trace.
Meanwhile, the other first-year and second-year students, before the slumbering entity of the Ranaya Island opened its eyes to this world, had escaped to the dungeons just in time.
’It’s ridiculous when I think about it... That only the class closely related to the major characters perished. Well, that’s what it’s supposed to be, but I’m giving them a chance of a lifetime with the risk I’m taking at this moment.’
"Y-You! Wh-what are you...?" Zion glared at me as though he would burn my soul if given the chance.
Approaching him, I momentarily gazed at the other three students who ran the moment I asked Rune to cast a low-level healing magic on this man...
No matter if they were originally humans, the acceptance of collaboration with the demonkind would grant them the [Passive Talent] known as [Soul Penitent].
It was an irredeemable mark of evil.
Even if human nature was either good or evil, aligning with the demonkind meant the rejection of holiness and was tantamount to the kind of evil that’s unforgivable.
"Zion, right?" Instead of entertaining his curiosity as he continued to bleed, I muttered.
"You see, I don’t even know you."
"Wh-what?"
That’s right.
One could say the damned author of the [Hero’s Apocalypse] off-screened Class Mu in the original story. After all, what was necessary was the consequences of their deaths and their vague relations with their respective families that could be said to possess strong influence within the Holy Empire of Divinia.
Ignoring him for the second time, my eyes panoramically observed the students who had yet to grasp the situation. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
"If I didn’t pull you out of that island, all of you will die at the hands of these apostates who allied themselves with the demonkind."
The thirty-five (35) students looked at each other, seemingly realizing why Zion and three of their classmates ran at the mention of being doused with [Healing Magic] containing little to no divine power.
"D-demonkind...? Zion? Are they truly?"
"That’s the only explanation why he suddenly ran when Lugh asked Rune to heal him... right?"
"There are also the three of them?! Wh-what’s this?! What’s happening on the island?!"
Their reactions were strong, but after being showered with false peace since the death of the latest Demon King, it was just not enough.
That’s why I opened my mouth to give them an ultimatum.
"Y-You! D-don’t believe this son of a bitch! I-I just thought Rune–"
Slash!
Before Zion could utter another word, something resplendent streaked itself on his neck.
Spurt!
His head then rolled on the floor, his expression painted disbelief.
On the other hand, before the students could react, I approached the other three students who were like cockroaches since they were still struggling even after bleeding so much.
Slash! Slash!
Spurt!
Spurt!
Slash!
Their fate was sealed the moment they unwillingly stepped foot in this place.
Gulp.
Witnessing what had just transpired, the students’ faces either paled or darkened. Some of them looked at me, their eyes saw mine, and realized there was no hesitation in it, as if I had already taken many lives without batting an eye.
They’re not wrong though.
Then, with the silence enveloping the grand hall of the Lunar Castle, the reluctant Rune, who was a nun but somewhat thrown in Class Mu for embarrassing reasons, asked fearfully,
"Wh-what’s going to happen to us..."
"You will remain in this place with Morgan and learn and train your specialties in any way possible," I replied instantly, prompting some of them to realize that I already had plans for them.
"Just so you know, you can escape this place whenever you want. Well, I’m not sure if you can make it home without getting yourselves killed with the lurking demonkind..."
"..."
"...?"
"Wh-what do you mean by that?" The timid Kevin queried.
Looking at him, I simply smiled.
Unable to do anything, as some of them fidgeted and caused their thoughts to race, believing that I wouldn’t let them go—Well, I truly wouldn’t—I brought them to reality with a parting question.
"Be honest with yourself for once. Do you really even want to go home?"

Labyrinth of Atlan Sphere, Ranaya Island.
It was known to possess the peculiarity of having unknown spheres floating around, and with the mechanism or accurate reason of it remaining unknown, the Kingdom of Grisha and the subsequent adventurers tended to ignore it.
However, Maya and Alana, seemingly too late to stop whatever was happening in this grand-hall-like ruins of the labyrinth, witnessed the floating spheres vibrate as though they were reacting to the ginormous dark crimson magic circle embedded on the ground.
Witnessing this, Maya, realizing something, cursed.
"Those demonkind bastards! This magic circle isn’t because of them! It’s been here, undetected for ages!"
Alana, grasping her words, tried to confirm, "Do you mean this magic circle is always here even during the expedition years ago? Then..."
"No! It’s very much possible that it’s been here even before Ranaya Island was formed! It’s ancient! Even if I can decipher it, it would take time, which is something I don’t think we have!"
The vibration as the blood of the dead Radakith and the other Demon God Worshippers began to intensify, as if something was about to crawl out of the magic circle at any moment.
Without warning, Alana raised the twin-headed scythe and unhesitantly jumped atop the ominous magic circle now emitting dark red lightning.
Seeing this, Maya provided support, controlling the flying debris caused by tremors to avoid Alana’s direction with a mere gesture of her hand.
"RAAAAH—!"
Gripping "Seraphmire" with her two hands, at its head stood over her head, Alana landed on the magic circle and cleaved down the weapon exuding pure divinity.
BOOM—!
But surprisingly, an oppressive power was holding it back.
’This...’
Divine Power, considering its holy property, was fatal to anything with an evil nature.
That’s usually the case...
Noticing that something was amiss, Maya screamed.
"Alana, get back!"
Her voice cut through the vibrations of the spheres. However, before Alana could pull out her weapon fighting against the lightning...
A hand emerged from the magic circle and grabbed it!
Alana’s eyes widened. Moreover, the atmosphere suddenly turned oppressive, as though the presence of any ordinary humans would meet death without warning.
Recognizing the threat, the [Divine Guide] from the Goddess of Light registered in her consciousness, revealing a warning alongside the information of the entity that was about to come out in this world.
...
[Warning! One of the Thirteen Abandoned Children of the Demon God will awake from Her eternal slumber!]
[Prevent Her awakening!]
[The Goddess of Light’s wisdom embedded itself into your soul!]
[A majestic voice from the Divine Kingdom of Luminous descended!]
["Do not let Ranaya come into this world!"]
Alana’s thoughts shattered, consciousness nearly faded, hearing a distant voice that was familiar yet at the same time unfamiliar.
It was an unknown voice that sounded like a male...?
And it was filled with urgency.
