Chapter 286: Cycling relationship (1)

“They found an aircraft carrier?”

Joonbum was confused by the report. He knew what an aircraft carrier was, but it made no sense to him that one was found near the Korean peninsula, specifically around Busan.

“Wow, an aircraft carrier? That’s nice.”

However, unlike Joonbum, Jinpok just seemed to be excited about the news. It was especially exciting since they were stuck in their position, unable to move forward to the north.

“Yes, Your Majesty. The Southern Army reports that they have finished driving out monsters from the southern region and have found the aircraft carrier, USS Harry S. Truman.”

“Hmm…”

Aircraft carriers were akin to floating fortresses. One alone was equivalent to the power of a thousand soldiers.

“It’s reported to be the nest of giant monster seagulls, but our troops have driven out the seagulls and are currently checking the interior of the aircraft carrier. Also, they found two survivors hiding on deck.”

Everyone was surprised.

“Survivors?”

“Yes, Your Majesty. A boy and a girl. They were hiding beneath a pile of bones. They were starving but Commander Hectos is keeping an eye on them.”

“Any others?”

“There are no other survivors but we have reports that many human bones were found on deck. And according to the boy, his parents are alive inland. Our scout team is searching the area as we speak.”

“We haven’t found them yet?”

“The boy says some people are hiding underground. It seems they are blocking the entrance of a subway station to hide from various monsters. The boy says that all of them, including children, are sent outside to gather food. The children are to gather plants or insects but they hide when there are strangers nearby.”

“I see. So that’s why we couldn’t find them.”

“Yes, Your Majesty. It seems that the boy and girl we rescued were terrified of our troops.”

Joonbum frowned.

“That doesn’t bode well.”

“I think those adults hiding down there aren’t worth rescuing,” Jinpok spat and the reporting soldier became nervous at his aggressiveness.

“What happened to those bastards we found?”

Jinpok directed his question at Doral and he nodded.

“They are locked away in the safe construction area, sentenced to life labor. They will never leave the job site until they die.”

Doral spoke calmly. The world had turned into chaos and Earth was no longer a world for humans. Humans were at the bottom of the food chain, trying hard to survive each day. This caused many cruel incidents to happen between people, and it was especially the elderly, women, and children who suffered. Only the strongest survived and claimed everything.

“Let’s go take a look at that aircraft carrier.”

Jinpok got up, and some were shocked. However, Joonbum and Doral didn’t seem to be bothered and got up as well.

“Let’s go, then.”

Joonbum answered and left the tent.

“Y-your Majesty! What about…”

“Commander Darren Micke will be in charge as of now. I am going to inspect the aircraft carrier. Check to see if there are any navy personnel or anyone who knows about aircraft carriers among people we rescued and bring them down south.”

“Yes, Your Majesty! But, you can’t just… dammit! Gruman! The emperor is leaving! Call the Southern Army right now!”

The tent became empty. It only took a minute for the emperor to leave the tent and three more for him to leave in a car.

“Hey, forget it now!”

Kim Jinho spoke in irritation. He wanted to sound nice but his hunger made him sound angry.

“Dammit! F*ck!”

“It’s all because of you!”

Jinho glared at Ahn Suhee’s face.

“What? What are you talking about?”

Jinho spoke threateningly and people who were resting around them became uneasy.

“It’s your fault! My kids… you sent my kids…”

“You b*tch! Why is it my fault?! You should’ve kept them safe!”

“Aah!”

She screamed as Jinho kicked her in the stomach. Suhee collapsed onto the ground.

“Aaaah! Just kill me, you assh*le! Kill me right now!”

She screamed as she glared at Jinho.

“Ugh! You bit me! You b*tch!”

“Kill me! KILL ME!!”

The man punched Suhee’s face, but in response, she scratched his face with her long nails.

“AAAARGH! My face! You damn whore! Die!”

“AAAGH!”

Jinho started kicking her everywhere repeatedly and she screamed in pain. He was extremely violent but no one came to stop them.

“Just kill…. Aaaaah!”

Jinho’s punch threw Suhee to the floor on her back and he stopped to catch his breath. They had been starved for too long — they didn’t even have the strength to keep fighting. Jinho then looked down at Suhee at her pelvic area. Her skirt had flown up as she fell, so he could see that she was wearing no underwear in the faint light.

Jinho got down on her.

“Let me go! You bastard! Let me go!”

“Hehe… just be still, b*tch!”

Jinho slapped Suhee who resisted. He grabbed her by the hair and dragged her to a wall and pulled up her skirt higher.

“Let me go! Let me go!”

“Shut up!”

Jinho’s hand moved roughly over Suhee’s exposed skin. The shouting turned into moans and a weird erotic atmosphere filled the area.

“AAAARGH!”

Then, a scream came out of nowhere.

“Y-you crazy b*tch! Ho-how…!”

It was Jinho. He was grabbing his pelvic area, which was bleeding heavily. Suhee, whose hands were drenched in blood, got up and threw something at Jinho.

“N-no… you b*tch…”

The piece of flesh fell to the ground and Jinho began crawling away. His face contorted in fear and despair.

“S-save me! Anyone! Help! She’s…”

However, just like no one helped while Suhee was being pummeled, no one helped Jinho when he was dying.

“P-please… s-save me! Save…”

Jinho began to cry out of fear. Yet, no one helped him.

“It’s all your fault, you bastard! Why do you think I slept with you? It was because of my kids! You bastard!”

The sound of something being crushed and pummeled echoed and everything fell silent.

“…I will find my kids. They need me. They must be alive… somewhere…”
