Supreme Casanova: Ultimate Harem System-Chapter 304: I Think I’m Ready.
Hugo had never taken a child's game this seriously in his entire life.
And yet, here he was.
Locked in battle.
The battlefield? A colorful plastic board.
The weapons? Tiny game pieces and sheer willpower.
The enemy? A ten year old warlord in a wheelchair.
Hugo had agreed to this game thinking it would be a fun, lighthearted distraction. Something to bond over. Something to ease the weird tension between them.
Instead—
Billy had thrown the dice with the same energy a villain launches a missile strike.
And now they were both glaring at the board like a million dollar bet was on the line.
Hugo could feel the pressure in the air. He could feel the sweat on his back. He could feel the absolute bloodlust in Billy's eyes.
And most of all, he could feel his own ridiculous need to win.
This was war!
"Your turn," Billy said, his voice disturbingly calm.
Hugo's hands were sweaty, his mind racing, and his heart pounding as he rolled the dice, watching them bounce across the board before finally landing on a six.
A triumphant grin spread across his face as he advanced his piece, feeling a surge of satisfaction that was wildly disproportionate to the reality of the situation.
But just as he was about to bask in the glow of his minor victory, he caught sight of Billy's expression.
It was calm, calculating and filled with the quiet confidence of a boy who knew he was about to turn the tables.
Billy rolled his dice with a smug precision that sent a chill down Hugo's spine.
The dice tumbled across the board, the numbers flashing for a brief moment before settling into place.
Hugo's stomach dropped. It was a perfect roll. A game-ending roll.
The kind of roll that only happened in movies where the underdog pulled off a last-minute comeback and the protagonist had to learn some cheesy lesson about humility!
But Hugo wasn't in a movie, and he definitely wasn't about to let some kid steal his victory.
He had come too far, fought too hard, and endured too much psychological warfare to lose now.
Most importantly, he had gaming mastery!
"No way," Hugo breathed, staring at the dice as if willing them to change. "You did not just—"
Billy's grin widened as he moved his final piece into the winning position, his tiny hands making the motion unbearably slow, as if savoring Hugo's impending defeat.
And then, in the most dramatic, soul-crushingly smug voice possible, he tilted his head slightly and said, "Well, well, well."
Hugo felt a deep, primal rage stir within him. This was an assassination of his pride, an insult to his competitive spirit, a crime against everything he stood for as a man.
Still, there was hope.
He still had one last chance. His final move. He snatched them up, channeling every ounce of his willpower, his energy, his raw desperation into the throw.
The dice hit the board. They rolled. They bounced. Time seemed to slow as Hugo watched with wide, unblinking eyes.
And then, perfection. A roll so good, so clutch, so absolutely beautiful that it could only be described as divine intervention.
Hugo shot out of his seat so fast he nearly knocked over the table, his arms flung in the air as he let out a victorious roar that shook the very foundation of Lily's house.
"YES! I WIN!" Hugo shouted so loudly he could have woken up an entire neighborhood.
"I AM THE KING! THE CHAMPION! THE UNDISPUTED MASTER OF THIS GAME!"
He was jumping around, punching the air, celebrating like he had just won an Olympic gold medal, completely oblivious to the fact that his opponent was, in fact, a small child in a wheelchair.
And then, like a lightning bolt striking him in the head, he heard it.
A sniff.
A tiny, choked, heart-wrenching sniff.
Hugo's celebratory dance came to a screeching halt. His arms froze mid-air. His joy drained out of him instantly as he slowly turned to look at Billy.
The boy's big, round eyes were watery. His lower lip trembled. His entire expression was a mixture of betrayal, devastation, and deep, genuine hurt.
And then, the floodgates burst open.
Billy let out a wail so dramatic it could have belonged to a tragic movie hero watching his best friend die in slow motion.
Tears streamed down his face as he hiccupped and sniffled, his tiny fists wiping at his eyes while his shoulders shook.
Hugo panicked.
Oh no. Oh no. Oh no.
What had he done?!
He had been so caught up in his shameless thirst for victory that he had completely forgotten he was competing against a literal child.
A child who, until moments ago, had been having fun. A child who had just wanted to play a game with his big sister's boyfriend.
And now here Hugo was, standing over him like some cruel tyrant who had just crushed an innocent villager's dreams.
Lily, who had been watching the whole time, folded her arms and gave Hugo a look that could only be described as 'I cannot believe I date this idiot.'
Hugo gulped.
"…I may have overdone it."
Lily sighed, kneeling next to her brother. "Billy, it's okay. It's just a game."
"But—but he was so mean about it!" Billy hiccupped, sniffling dramatically.
Lily shot Hugo a glare so sharp it could have sliced through steel.
Hugo immediately dropped to his knees, clearing his throat.
"Uh, listen, buddy," he said, trying to sound as soft and non-threatening as possible. "I—uh—was just… um… expressing my… enthusiasm?"
Billy sniffled harder. Hugo panicked even more.
"I—uh—next time, you can win, okay?"

Billy narrowed his teary eyes.
"…Promise?"
Hugo hesitated.
This felt like a trap.
Like one of those moments where he'd say 'yes' and the kid would hold him to it for the rest of eternity.
But he was out of options.
"…Yes?"
Billy immediately stopped crying. His face returned to normal. He sniffled once, wiped his eyes, and nodded.
"Okay."
Hugo blinked.
Wait. Wait, was he just manipulated by a ten-year-old?
Lily sighed again. "Alright, Billy, it's bedtime."
.....
An hour later, Hugo stood at the doorway, watching Lily tuck Billy into bed. The kid had passed out almost instantly, clearly exhausted.
Lily brushed his hair back, her fingers gentle.
"…He gets tired so fast," she murmured. "Even though he tries so hard not to show it."
Hugo stayed quiet. It was obvious how much she loved her little brother.
"You and Tily," he said after a moment, "are amazing sisters."
Lily turned to him, looking genuinely touched.
"…Really?"
"Of course," Hugo said. "It's not easy, right? But you two do everything for him. That's… honestly, that's incredible."
Lily stared at him for a long moment. Then she stepped forward and kissed him.
Her lips were soft, warm, intoxicating. Her hands curled into his shirt. And then, she pulled away, breathless.
Blushing. Her eyes shining.
"I think I'm ready."
Hugo's brain exploded.
OH.
OH.
OH.
This was it.
THIS WAS IT!
