Chapter 638 -295: Major Family Events III: Night of the Witch (Part 10)_3
The boy in the black hoodie yawned with his hands behind his head and asked:
“Didn’t we agree that there’re no classes today? And yet, it’s time to vote again?”
“Spider Man, don’t be in such a hurry; the weirdo teacher hasn’t arrived yet.” Said the figure in a red and blue battle suit with a bird-beak helmet, looking towards the blackboard in annoyance, “Besides, today we have two transfer students coming, and there’s an external leader from the education bureau coming to inspect the quality of our curriculum. It’s going to be busy.”
As he said that, he closed the ‘Superhero Code’ he was holding and looked up from behind his glasses at the Lost Witch hanging in midair, sighing, “Come on… is this how you treat our external leader, hanging her from the ceiling to attend the class?” freeωebnovēl.c૦m
“It was Nezha’s doing.”
The girl in a Christmas dress said expressionlessly, quickly ratting out the culprit.
Lan Ou looked at Nezha, and Nezha looked back at him.
“Got a problem with that?” the latter asked coldly.
“Alright, alright, if it’s our grade’s bully doing it, then I’ve got no complaints.”
Lan Ou spread his hands in surrender.
While they were talking, the owl on Xiaohongmao’s shoulder suddenly became solemn.
It cleared its throat and declared with force, “Weirdo teacher is here, students, stand up—!”
No response.
Similarly, no one stood up.
This evidently showed that the teacher didn’t have much authority in the eyes of the students.
In the deathly silence, a figure glowing with a grey aura, with a few textbooks under the arm – mostly psychology-related books like “The Interpretation of Dreams” and “Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience” – walked in.
Under the gaze of everyone in the classroom, the weirdo teacher went to the podium at an even pace, moving with a formal and dignified air, very much befitting a teacher – if only it could reduce the wiggle of its protruding behind.
It placed the textbooks on the desk, then pushed the glasses up on the nose-bridge and raised its hollow eyes.
Looking at the Sloth Witch in mid-air, it took a serious breath as if preparing mentally for the class inspection by the leader.
Then, with hands on hips, it solemnly said, “Students, since we have an external leader evaluating the class today, we must demonstrate a more rigorous attitude than usual… understand?”
“Hooray, weirdo teacher!”
Kobe lifted his wing and raised his hand like an elementary school student.
However, aside from this owl, the other students remained indifferent, going about their own business.
The Lost Witch surveyed them with a smile, maintaining her usual composure.
The weirdo teacher raised a finger and, with the other hand, cradled a textbook, slowly introducing, “Today we’ll be discussing Freud’s ‘superego,’ ‘id,’ and ‘ego’ theory, guiding everyone to a correct understanding of this um… charlatan psychologist, oh no, calling him a charlatan is a bit too much…”
While speaking, it paused, then raised its right hand mysteriously, sweeping its gaze across the classroom, and slowly opened its clenched fist.
In its palm lay a folded paper figure, muttering “ego,” “superego,” “id” with a gloomy expression…
“Surprised, students? Our little paper doll will be joining today’s class, thanks to our pal ‘Fan Quan’ who provided the teaching material ‘Door of Humanities’ for the welfare school, adding extra fun to our lesson.”
Finishing, the weirdo teacher then fell silent, making a “bite hand” pose and kept quiet while sucking on its right hand.
“Oh… this is bad, really bad. It’s weirdo teacher’s first public performance class, and such a blunder has happened.”
“What’s wrong, weirdo teacher?”
Watching the teacher’s panicky behavior, the Lost Witch asked with interest, “You’ll disappoint me as an external leader like this; take care, I might report back to the education bureau.”
“I’m so sorry, the teacher specially came to attend our welfare school class, but weirdo teacher was not prepared; I must be too nervous, just too nervous.”
The weirdo teacher clutched its chest, shaking its head, “I can’t believe I forgot that we have two transfer students today, how careless of me… But please, do not let this little interlude completely negate weirdo teacher’s efforts. We should reserve our judgments till the official teaching starts, right?”
“Of course.”
The Lost Witch replied with a mocking tone.
The weirdo teacher let out a sigh of relief: “Anyway… let’s welcome them first; we can’t let them wait outside for too long.”
As the words fell, the classroom door creaked open slowly, and a slender figure in a wheelchair entered the room.
The red-haired girl sat in the wheelchair, ascended the podium, and greeted with a smile.
“Hello everyone, I’m the transfer student ‘Sisteruo,’ you can also call me ‘Gastella,’ please take good care of me.”
After introducing herself, she lifted her deep eyes, rolling them playfully over the people in the classroom.
The weirdo teacher adjusted its glasses and said warmly, “Alright, Sisteruo, please take the seat to the right of Mr. Lan Ou, weirdo teacher has selected it for you in advance.”
Sisteruo nodded, then pushed the wheel of her wheelchair, drawing closer to the set of seats on the side of the classroom.
Seeing her struggle to move from the wheelchair to the seat, Lan Ou couldn’t stand by and helped her, then sighed and asked, “Don’t I remember that you’re not actually disabled, and the lower body disability is just a pretext for others?”
“Ah… is that so?” Sisteruo lifted her eyebrows thoughtfully and said, “But if I’m not disabled, I won’t be able to get the scholarship for the disabled that the principal gives out, and then I wouldn’t belong in this classroom, right?”
