Chapter 639 -295: Major Family Events III: Night of the Witch (Part 10)_4
“That makes sense.”
Speaking of which, the two of them looked towards the first row of the classroom. They could only see Ke Mingye’s back but not his expression.
At this moment, Ke Mingye was expressionless, his gaze slantingly looking at the sunset outside the window.
Sisteruo pointed at Xiaohongmao and said, “Teacher, can my seat be a little further from this Magic girl?”
“Why?” the weird thing on the stage asked.
“Well… how should I put it… Her fireballs hurt a lot when she throws them at people.”
Sisteruo paused for a moment, then said indifferently, “It’s my personal experience.”
“I’m really sorry about that.” Xiaohongmao said expressionlessly, “It was the principal who ordered me to do so; otherwise, why would I throw a fireball at you? We, girls who grew up on trash, all have mild personalities. We just want to attend class and study hard, never doing anything against the rules.”
The creature on the stage thought for a while and said, “Well then, let’s move Sisteruo’s seat a bit further to the front.”
“Thank you.”
“Next, let’s welcome the second transfer student of the day, everyone please applaud to welcome our ‘Divine Communicator with a ghost mask—Nez…’…”
The creature stopped talking suddenly, glancing sideways at Nezha.
Nezha snorted coldly. He didn’t seem to like hearing that there was someone in the classroom with the same name as him, so the creature quickly corrected itself: “No Nez, just ‘Divine Communicator with a ghost mask,’ or just ‘Divine Communicator,’ which sounds smoother.”
As soon as the voice fell, a man wearing a metallic coat, with reddened wrists exposed and wearing a metal ghost mask, slowly walked into the classroom.
Through the mask, his pitch-black, empty gaze swept over everyone, silent and motionless, standing like a statue on the podium.
“As you can see, this student is a mute. According to our weird teacher here, the new student has subtle violent tendencies, which, of course, are much better than that beast in the hallway. Anyway, please be understanding and accommodating,” the creature said slowly, its gaze drifting towards the corridor outside the classroom.
The moment it heard footsteps, it quickly ran to the door, closed it, locked it, and then let out a sigh of relief before returning to the podium. Everyone was silent, not daring to look out the window, looking a bit scared, and the atmosphere became tense for a while.
The Lost Witch tilted her head, pretending to be calm while watching the scene unfold, as if watching a farce.
However, in her heart, waves of awe had already sparked: “The spiritual world is twisted to this extent, yet he can still behave like a normal person usually… it’s simply… bizarre.”
Spider Man sighed, “First comes one in a wheelchair, then a mute, our classroom is becoming quite the place…”
“This student, what did disabled people ever do to you?” Sisteruo asked, supporting her chin and looking at him sideways.
“We’re all players, let’s be tolerant of one another, okay?”
Sisteruo smiled faintly, supporting her cheek with her left hand, raising her right hand, and without turning her head, made an “OK” gesture.
Watching the students get along harmoniously, the creature removed its glasses and rubbed its eyes with satisfaction before putting them back on.
It patted the shoulder of the Divine Communicator with a ghost mask, who was standing dumbly at the podium, and said in a warm tone, “So please find a seat you like and sit down, Divine Communicator. Just don’t take the principal’s spot.”
The Divine Communicator nodded and then found a place to sit down.
At this time, the creature teacher was about to start the lecture when Xiaohongmao in the corner of the classroom suddenly raised her hand.
The creature looked at her, curiously asking:
“Student Xiaohongmao, do you have a question?”
Xiaohongmao lifted her ice-blue eyes, glanced at the Lost Witch hanging in mid-air, and then at the back of Ke Mingye sitting in the first row.
She said softly, “Principal, the leadership from outside is blocking my view, I can’t take notes well.”
The creature replied, “Students, you should say this to the class teacher, not the principal.”
At this point, Ke Mingye was lying on the desk, focusing on the slanting sun outside the window. He said casually, “Let the supervising leader listen to the lecture in the corridor then, so it doesn’t affect the class.”
The Lost Witch raised her eyebrows slightly, and a gasp of astonishment could be heard ambiguously in the classroom.
The creature teacher raised its nonexistent eyebrows as well, gently tapping the Tianming Acupoint with its grey finger.
After a moment, it pushed up its glasses, looking somewhat troubled and said, “Oh, the principal actually suggesting putting the respected outside leadership in the hallway for the class, but this is rather impolite, not in keeping with our hospitality.”
Saying that, it looked up, seeking the opinions of everyone in the classroom, “Students, what do you think?”
“I have no objections.” Xiaohongmao said.
“Aw, just send her away earlier, she’s an eyesore,” Spider Man flapped his hand as if shooing a fly.
“Err… I agree,” Lan Ou said.
“If Miss Xiaohongmao has no objections, then Lord Kobe doesn’t either!” Kobe hummed.
“I don’t mind,” Sisteruo said softly, her eyes lowered, she supported her cheek, quietly looking at “Rong’s Orphanage brochure.”
The Divine Communicator with a ghost mask nodded silently.
Finally, everyone turned their gazes to Nezha sitting on the windowsill, resting with his eyes closed.
Nezha slowly opened his eyes, sweeping an expressionless gaze over the crowd.
He asked, “If you’ve all voted, do I need to cast any vote?”
As soon as he finished speaking, the Heavenly Silk wrapped around different corners of the classroom suddenly flared open, the bright red cloth gathered and danced. In an instant, it unlocked the classroom door, threw the Lost Witch, who was bound in the cloth, out of the door.
Then the door was closed, and the lock clicked.
“You actually let me out voluntarily… You guys are really interesting, but don’t let me catch the loophole of this place.”
The Lost Witch said with a smile, unconcerned.
She had plenty of time, willing to play the game, so she slowly stood up, looking around with interest.
Just then, her gaze shifted and she saw a boy in a hospital gown leaning against the wall in the corridor, quietly reading a book.
The boy in the hospital gown occasionally glanced sideways, casting an emotionless look, and then quickly withdrew his gaze.
The Lost Witch was observing him when suddenly, from another corner of the corridor shrouded in shadow, a hoarse whisper came.
“Slay her, slay her, slay her, slay her, slay her…”
The Lost Witch raised her eyebrows, following the source of the voice with her gaze.
A youth with blood-red eyes was seen crawling out from the shadows, approaching the Lost Witch step by step, like a beast on the prowl.
