Super Soldier in Campus-Chapter 728 - 733 Don’t talk about driving skills in front of Brother Feng_1
To ordinary people, the lethality of a submachine gun was far more terrifying than even two top-tier martial arts masters. After all, no matter how formidable a master was, they were still just one person. A submachine gun, however, could injure dozens in mere seconds. The sheer scale of devastation was something no ordinary expert could achieve.
Therefore, the moment Chen Chunhua appeared holding the submachine gun, she scared away all of the dozens of people present.
"It really does save time and effort…" Zhou Yang commented with a wry smile, glancing at the blood-stained submachine gun in Chen Chunhua's hand.
"Let's go…" Chen Chunhua said emotionlessly, taking the lead out of the hotel.
"Let's go…" Lin Feng echoed gravely, following Chen Chunhua.
The three of them got into Zhou Yang's Rolls-Royce Phantom. Lin Feng went straight to the driver's seat, glanced back at Chen Chunhua, and said in a deep voice, "I'll drive, you navigate."
"Why can't I drive?" Chen Chunhua asked plaintively, glancing at Lin Feng.
"Because I drive faster than you…" Lin Feng replied casually.
Upon hearing Lin Feng's words, Zhou Yang nodded with a bitter smile. Although he wasn't very willing to admit it, he had to acknowledge that Lin Feng's driving skills were indeed superior to his.
"Not necessarily!" Chen Chunhua retorted, glancing at Lin Feng disdainfully. "I can get from here to there in just ten minutes. I don't believe you can be faster than me."
"You navigate…" Lin Feng didn't say anything else. He simply buckled his seatbelt in silence.
Zhou Yang also obediently fastened his seatbelt and kindly reminded Chen Chunhua, "Manager Chen, you'd better buckle up too. Brother Feng drives fast, but he's not always steady…"
"Hmph! No need…" Chen Chunhua shook her head disdainfully. But before she finished speaking, she felt herself suddenly cinched tight—Lin Feng had instantly buckled her seatbelt. In the next moment, her grip loosened as he snatched the submachine gun from her hands.
With a few quick CLACKS, Lin Feng disassembled the perfectly good submachine gun, and in an instant, it was reduced to more than a dozen parts.
"You…" Chen Chunhua glared fiercely at Lin Feng, her eyes full of reproach. "What right do you have to dismantle my gun!"
Without a word, Lin Feng started the engine, floored the accelerator, and the car shot onto the road.
"Lin Feng… How can you be so rude!" Chen Chunhua started to say, but Lin Feng cut her off in a deep voice.
"Give directions!"
After glaring furiously at Lin Feng again, Chen Chunhua finally turned her head and said resentfully, "To Xinhua Market Street first!"
Lin Feng said nothing more. He expertly controlled the Rolls-Royce Phantom, which glided silently through the streets of Jiangzhou City.
For safety reasons, the Rolls-Royce Phantom's top speed was limited to 240 km/h. However, under Lin Feng's control, the car was already maintaining a speed of over 200 km/h within just half a minute.
The shortest route from Spring Flower Garden to Xinhua Market Street was about 20 kilometers. With Chen Chunhua's driving skills, maintaining an average speed of 120 km/h to reach the destination in about ten minutes was already quite impressive.
Lin Feng, however, reached Xinhua Market Street in just a little over six minutes.
As Lin Feng braked and brought the car to a stop, Chen Chunhua, in the passenger seat, finally managed to unbuckle her tightly fastened seatbelt. She threw open the car door and took a deep, gasping breath.
"Phew… Maniac, what a maniac…" Chen Chunhua mumbled, shaking her still-dizzy head. After that ride with Lin Feng, she knew she'd probably never dare claim to be a fast driver again. And now she understood why Lin Feng had dismantled the submachine gun. If he'd let her keep hold of it, she'd likely have gotten so nervous that she would have accidentally pulled the trigger and misfired it a dozen times by now!
"Where to next?" Lin Feng asked nonchalantly, his expression unchanged as he looked at Chen Chunhua, as if the recent high-speed dash hadn't affected him at all.
"Let's get out…" Chen Chunhua said, shaking her head, her voice weak with exhaustion.
Lin Feng and Zhou Yang followed Chen Chunhua out of the car. They quickly realized that Xinhua Market Street was right next to the burning Tianxing Club, less than four or five hundred meters away. From where they had parked, they could still see thick smoke billowing continuously from the Tianxing Club, just a few hundred meters distant.
Chen Chunhua glanced distantly at the Tianxing Club and frowned, but said nothing. Lowering her head, she walked on, leading the way.
Lin Feng and Zhou Yang followed Chen Chunhua. They passed a row of houses beside the market street and entered a labyrinth of dark, narrow alleys. After walking for nearly ten minutes, they finally arrived in front of a house with a small courtyard.
Lin Feng noticed that this house was no more than a hundred meters from the Tianxing Club in a straight line.
"Don't say anything!" Chen Chunhua instructed in a low voice, turning back to them.
Lin Feng and Zhou Yang understood. Chen Chunhua likely had a prearranged agreement with the people inside the house, perhaps involving a password or a secret signal. They simply nodded silently, making no sound.
Chen Chunhua walked to the door of the house and knocked gently a few times. There was no response from inside, but she didn't seem discouraged and continued to knock several more times.
Finally, the courtyard gate, which was equipped with an electronic lock, CLICKED open.
"Let's go…" Only then did Chen Chunhua turn back and call out to Lin Feng and Zhou Yang. Then, without regard for what the two behind her might be thinking or whether they were afraid, she strode directly into the dark courtyard.
Of course, Lin Feng and Zhou Yang weren't afraid. They kept close behind Chen Chunhua and slipped sideways into the house.
Once inside the courtyard, Chen Chunhua directly keyed a few numbers into the digital lock on the main door of the house. BEEP. The door opened, and she went in first.
When the heavy iron door was pushed open, Lin Feng realized that the lights were on inside the house; it was just that the door was so well-sealed that no light had escaped outside.
"Who's there?" a man's voice called from a shadowy corner. He seemed to be coming out to greet Lin Feng and the others.
The people inside the house were clearly aware that Chen Chunhua, Lin Feng, and Zhou Yang had entered, so the man who approached showed no signs of wariness, merely asking their identities in a relaxed tone.
Chen Chunhua and Zhou Yang hadn't yet gotten a clear look at the man, so their expressions remained unchanged. But it was different for Lin Feng. To him, that seemingly ordinary voice was so familiar that he found it hard to suppress the thrill that surged within him!
"Yan Su, is that you?" Lin Feng blurted out instinctively.
"Lin Feng?!" Yan Su's voice sounded excited. He dropped his guard and quickly emerged from the shadowy corner. His face alight with excitement, he approached the group who had just entered. Reaching Lin Feng, he clapped him heavily on the shoulder and asked, his tone a mixture of reproach and surprise, "What are you doing here too?!"
