Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 695: Laughing in The Face of Danger

Jason looked down, and he saw that the creature pulling him was a mermaid-like monster with the body of a human and the head of an octopus that had multiple tentacles writhing around like snakes! Jason activated [Heart of the Ocean] to create massive icicles that flew through the water like jets and skewered the creature! The creature let out a screech of pain as it finally let go of Jason, but before Jason could begin swimming up to the surface, he saw even more creatures approaching! The octopus heads lashed out with their tentacles and grabbed Jason’s legs as they tried to pull him to the bottom, and Jason quickly began to snipe all of them! Jason managed to kill more than a thousand octopus heads, but there were still thousands of them that were approaching and Jason immediately snapped and activated his innate Vympir skill!

[Crimson Hellfire]

WOOSH!

Even though Jason was underwater, the skill still activated easily, and Jason watched as all the octopus heads he had attacked began to burn with a bright red flame! The fire latched onto the other octopi that were around, and it wasn’t long before the entire region was filled with the screeches of burning monsters! Jason immediately activated [Aquamarina], and he used the added boost from the skill to swim up quickly!

A sudden thunder echoed through the sky, and there was a chill that had spread across the entire ocean. Jason wasn’t even surprised when he broke free from the ocean’s surface, and he saw that this world was being ravaged by a massive storm! The entire world had gone dark, and there were storm clouds in the sky that released long snakes of lightning at random intervals! Large turbulent waves travelled across the surface of the shadowy ocean, and the region was now so dark that Jason had to activate his [Predator’s Gaze] just to see what was a few hundred meters in front of him! And once Jason saw what was there, he felt his eyes widen in shock.

’Is this how badly she wants me dead?’

Jason looked up with a sarcastic chuckle, and he watched the thousand-foot wave that had risen high above the ocean and was now coming straight for him! The water was like the claws of a powerful beast, and Jason had never felt smaller than he did at that moment as he faced the full wrath of the ocean. But Jason’s determination just grew as he turned and flew out from the water before dashing off with a sonic boom! The large wave continued to fall behind Jason, and Jason grit his teeth as he tried to get out of the attack range! But even though Jason was moving at the speed of sound, the wave was just far too quick and it ended up slamming into him and pulling him back into the ocean! Jason cursed as he waited for the wave to pass so he could go back to the surface, but he felt another great pull from the ocean, and he was suddenly dragged into a spiralling wave that ran in constant circles! Jason tried to fight back against the force, but the pressure was relentless, and even a TITAN like him found it difficult to get out of it! But Jason managed to break through the water, and he was about to continue flying out of this area, but he felt a sudden pressure slamming into his body as thunder clapped above him, and Jason cursed as he was suddenly thrown back down into the water! The world obviously didn’t want Jason to leave, and it was doing everything in its power to ensure Jason was swept away by the waves!

If anyone looked down at the ocean from outside, they would see that the large water body was starting to twist and turn in constant circles as it formed a massive whirlpool! It was like some vindictive god had placed their finger into the ocean, and they were turning the water around like a child playing with its toy in a river! Great ocean whirlpools were known to be strong enough to pull ships and submarines towards the bottom of the ocean, and they exerted so much force that nothing could escape once they were pulled in! And in a world like this one, where the water was far denser than the water on Earth, the whirlpool was strong enough to even pull a TITAN Rank!

Rumble!

A flash of thunder and lightning echoed overhead as the storm grew even stronger, and the whirlpool finally formed into a giant swirling mass in the center of the ocean! The wind speeds picked up, and if you looked closely, you would be able to see a small black figure being pushed along by the giant ocean waves! Jason had a frown on his face as he allowed the ocean to pull him along! There were hundreds of thousands of monsters swirling all around Jason as they tried to take a bite out of him, and Jason could feel his own annoyance growing as he eventually just decided that he had had enough of this!

[Aura of Winter]!

BUOOHHHH!!

Jason suddenly activated his skill, and at the same time, he called on the Beast of the Apocalypse from his Alternate Dimension, and Jason watched as the water below him immediately began to freeze over! The giant whirlpool froze in its swirling form, and Jason easily floated up to the surface of the ocean as the water continued to freeze over! The storm was still blowing strongly around Jason, but now there were waves of ice and snow mixed to make it seem like a winter storm! A loud rumble of thunder echoed through the air, and Jason looked up as he noticed that the clouds were parting to reveal the white head of the lightning dragon! The lightning dragon travelled across lightning and existed in the midst of any storm, so no matter what world Jason went to, it would be able to find him! The dragon opened its mouth to reveal bolts of lightning dancing around within, and Jason quickly took off while calling on some of the subordinates that he resurrected using his [Necrotic Reanimation]!

Multiple undead dragons and giant paladins appeared in the space between Jason and the dragon, and when the dragon unleashed its attack, its lightning slammed into the undead creatures and exploded in a flash of pure blue lightning!

KA-BOOOM!!

The entire world suddenly turned white for a moment, and then a massive shock wave tore through the air! Jason was thrown forward by the air pressure alone, and he quickly gathered enough mana and opened a Dimensional Tear before falling through it! The lightning attack continued forward even after Jason had left, and it disintegrated everything in its path and killed all of the undead creatures as well as every magic beast that had been caught in the attack!

’That sounds like a fucking mouthful. I need to give that bastard a new name.’

Jason groaned as he landed roughly in the middle of a hot desert. Jason had no idea why he suddenly had that thought, but for some reason, he couldn’t help but laugh at the current situation and he felt a strange chuckle escape from his mouth as he looked up at the red sun. Jason had just come out from a battle against the Chimera slime that took almost all his stamina, and now he had been thrust into another battle for his life against the world itself. If Jason couldn’t laugh in a situation like this, then Jason didn’t know what he would do!
