Jason sat up, and he squeezed his hand as he felt a weird weakness coming over his body. Was this because of the sun in the sky? Vympirs were weak to certain colours of suns based on how strong they were. The weakest Vympirs were weak to even the weakest Yellow suns, the second tier of Vympirs were weak to Red suns, and then the next two tiers were weak to white and blue suns, respectively. Jason was the strongest tier of Vympire, so he was only weak to a blue sun, but even though he wouldn’t suffer any damage from a red sun, he still felt some of his strength being sapped away just from being under it. Jason felt like he had lost about five percent of his full strength!

But it wasn’t that serious, so Jason decided that he wouldn’t let it bother him. Jason needed to think of a plan. Running away from the world like this wasn’t a very sustainable plan, and Jason knew that even if he wanted to fight against the world, it wouldn’t be possible at his current strength. The lightning dragon that had been attacking Jason was a PRIMORDIAL Rank beast, and the world was still able to put it under its control! And the beasts that had been attacking Jason in the ocean world were all TITAN Ranks, so this meant the world didn’t have any problems controlling extremely powerful creatures and making them do whatever it wanted. If the world somehow managed to bring multiple PRIMORDIAL Ranks to attack Jason, then there was no way Jason could fight back against that.

’Running isn’t going to solve anything, and fighting the world isn’t possible. I don’t even know how to go about doing something like that. That means, there’s only one option right now. I have to get to the source of this madness. I need to reach Hesabeth.’

Jason’s eyes narrowed as he had this thought, and it was as though the world also managed to realise exactly what Jason was planning to do as a deep rumble suddenly echoed across the world! Jason felt the ground under his feet shaking, and he looked down with grit teeth since he thought that something was coming from below, but the entire world started to glow with a brilliant white light, and Jason quickly turned up in shock to see that the sun had gone from red to white! What the fuck?

Jason was obviously shocked by this, and he could feel his energy dropping even more as the white light from the sun penetrated his Vympir genes more easily! Jason realised that something similar to what had happened when he and Gillian were fighting Alexander was about to happen here as well! The sun was about to go through a supernova! Jason quickly released a significant amount of mana to open a Dimensional Tear so he could leave this world! But nothing happened, and another rumble suddenly echoed across the world! This time, the white sun in the sky started to shake and vibrate at strange intervals, and Jason frowned as he felt the mana in the air vibrating strangely! What the fuck was going on here!?

What was happening right now was actually a natural phenomenon known as Solar Degradation! It was something that every sun went through after ouliving its entire life cycle, and the phenomenon was known to also affect the worlds that surrounded the sun by causing the mana in the air to vibrate at a frequency that was different from normal. This prevented anyone from being able to interact with the mana in that world, so they couldn’t open any Dimensional Tears! This was the same phenomenon that prevented Gillian from opening a Dimensional Tear when she was trying to escape from the blue sun during their fight with Alexander, and she only managed to open a Dimensional Tear after the sun had already exploded. Usually, this phenomenon was supposed to take more than a hundred billion years to complete! It took a very long time for a sun to reach maturity, and before it went through Solar Degradation, it would take even longer! But it was possible to speed up this process by introducing a significant amount of mana into the heart of the sun in order to make it very unstable! Unstable suns were known to degrade much faster, and the amount of mana you introduced would usually determine just how quickly the sun went through its degradation!

When Gillian and Jason had thrown Alexander into a sun during their fight, all the mana that Alexander possessed had been absorbed by the sun after he was killed, and that was why the sun had gone through its solar degradation so quickly and then exploded in a Supernova. And right now, The World was doing the exact same thing to the sun above this world. The World was feeding massive amounts of mana into the sun, and it was only a matter of time before the sun would explode and completely destroy everything around it! Normally, an explosion from a sun would mean nothing to Jason! Jason was a TITAN Rank III, so it would be no problem for him to tank and easily survive a Supernova! But the mere fact that the Vympir Gene had been added to his DNA meant that Jason was now very vulnerable to sunlight! And if the sun went through a Supernova, the chances of him surviving were very low!

’Why the fuck can’t I open a Dimensional Tear!?’

Jason tried multiple times to open a Dimensional Tear, but for some reason, it simply wasn’t working, and Jason could feel the first strings of anxiousness seeping into his heart as he looked up and saw that the sun was starting to turn blue! Long tendrils were rising out from the surface of the sun and lashing out violently towards the world, and the temperature of the air around Jason was rising so rapidly that the sand was starting to catch fire!

Jason cursed internally as he looked up and saw that the sun was now vibrating even faster as it lashed out with bright solar tendrils! Jason could feel his energy levels dropping rapidly, and with the way things were now, he was sure that he had only about seventy percent of his full power because of this situation! Being a Vympire gave Jason great benefits that made him one of the most feared creatures in the Primordial Expanse, but at the same time, it also brought a massive disadvantage that was truly showing itself in this situation! But even with the disadvantages, Jason was still faring a lot better than many other Vympirs would have in this same situation! If someone like Lamina or any of the other high-level Vympirs from Nox had been thrown into this world, then they would have lost more than sixty percent of their power, and they would be struggling to even stand fully! The only reason Jason wasn’t feeling the effects as much as he should was because his Avaran Gene had subdued the Vympir Gene, and the Avaran Gene was energizing his body to counter the effects of the Vympir Gene! But this was still a massive disadvantage that Jason could not afford to have, so Jason swore that once he got out of this mess, he would figure out a way to counter the weakness that came with the Vympir gene!

Jason called out to a subordinate, and the giant TITAN Rank Skrill appeared from Jason’s Alternate Dimensional with a loud screech!
