Stolen By My Billionaire Brother-In-Law-Chapter 68: Losing Everything
Rivana entered the Faye Group building, with Callum and Leonora on either side of her. A line of bodyguards surrounded them, their presence formidable. If not for their outfits, many would have believed they were there to kill someone, considering the men looked nothing less than a line of grim reapers from hell.
"Oh, what a grand entry!" Mathew welcomed them with a warm smile. Rivana took off her black shades and curtly nodded to him. "Everyone’s already in the meeting room," he said as they walked.
Rivana nodded, and Mathew warned her, "You will get a mixed kind of welcomes, so be prepared for it."
"With you around, I don’t think I need to worry about anything," Rivana replied. Mathew chuckled, agreeing with a nod. He then took her to the private lift, one only available to Emmerich.
Callum gestured for his men to use another lift, and they followed, leaving the four and Mathew’s assistant Keira in the CEO elevator.
They all reached the top floor of the building, which belonged exclusively to Emmerich and his team. The floor was well-organized, with sleek desks, private office chambers, and a spacious meeting area. The atmosphere exuded professionalism and authority. As they walked through, everyone got up from their seats and bowed to her.
Emmerich’s assistant, Jeremy Kim, came forward carrying a bouquet in his hand. "Welcome, Madam," he greeted her with a warm smile.
Rivana accepted the bouquet with a smile. She had been expecting him to be the most angry person, as he was closest to Emmerich and loved Rafaelo and Rubina very much. There were times when he would treat her kindly too, but she was always the wedlock that he had failed to get rid of for his boss.
"We are eager to work with you," Jeremy added with a small bow. There was sadness in his eyes that everyone noticed. He had been beside Emmerich since he took over almost 20 years ago, and the middle-aged man still needed time to overcome the loss of his boss.
Rivana passed the flowers to Leonora. "I would like to meet all the workers first," she said.
Jeremy looked at her, surprised by her request. He glanced at Mathew, who was equally taken aback. "But the board members are all waiting for you," Mathew replied.
"I will be quick," Rivana persisted. Turning to the desks where people were still standing for her to pass, she murmured, "No one addressed them since his death, has it?" When Mathew nodded, she smiled softly. "I bet he’d want us to first take care of them and then the board members."
Her words moved Jeremy to tears. Though Emmerich came off as a ruthless leader and didn’t have a likable personality, he always put his workers first, something Margaret had passed on to him. And he didn’t expect her to remember such details.
Callum looked at his watch and said, "The meeting was scheduled for 11. It’s still 10:30, and she has time." Just because the board members were already here didn’t mean she would show up immediately. This would also set an image in their minds that she might be young but not someone they could try to puppet.
Mathew nodded and looked at Jeremy, who walked away to make the arrangements. He walked over and told his team, who were shocked but quickly informed all the floors to gather in the hall.
Rivana looked at Callum, wondering if she had made the right decision. Callum smiled and assured her with a nod. "It was a smart move," he praised, and Rivana sighed in relief.
Leonora murmured with a pout, "Ah." When Mathew nodded, she grumbled, "You should have told us earlier, Anna. We need to go downstairs again?"
"You can go home. No one is stopping you," Callum murmured, guiding Rivana to the elevator. Leonora glared at him, and they started bickering again. Rivana rubbed her ear. She glanced at Mathew, who was sharing the same expression. With a smile, he took them to the hall.

Once all the workers from different departments and branches arrived in the hall, confused and curious about why they were all gathered there, Jeremy walked to the waiting area and informed Rivana, "Everyone has settled down."
Rivana nodded, and they all walked to the hall. As the doors opened, all the workers fell silent, seeing Rivana. She walked over to the stage with confidence, her presence commanding the room. Her walk was poised, and her confidence was evident, making many look at her in awe.
Callum followed her and stood at a safer distance while she stood in the center with the mic podium arranged for her speech. Jeremy and Mathew stood among the workers, their assuring smiles boosting Rivana’s confidence. Taking a deep breath, she turned on the mic and addressed everyone.
"Thank you all for being here and for sticking with us during this difficult phase. Mr. Faye was laid in peace and I am sure he would have wanted to thank you all for helping him to gain the name and fame. Without your hard work and dedication, he wouldn’t have been what he is today."
Many were surprised and emotional that she was giving his success credit to them. With a smile, Rivana added, "I believe we can achieve great things and keep his name alive if we worked together."
She took a step aside and bowed to all of them. Many workers who were expecting her to go haughty and derail Emmerich’s image were shocked. She didn’t bring their grudges into the company; instead, she valued him for his profession. Many were convinced she wouldn’t bring harm to the company and were ready to start working under her.
"Thank you for taking the time to talk with us, Madam," one of the workers bowed back to her, and others followed suit. She glanced at Mathew, who proudly gave her a thumbs-up, and Jeremy shared the same opinion.
Callum stepped forward and addressed, playing his assistant role dutifully, "Mrs. Dynar would be visiting each branch to gain more knowledge and understand things better. I hope you all help her cross the hurdles and run the Faye Groups smoothly." He curtly nodded and stepped back.
Many clapped and cheered for her, and Rivana smiled, looking at them. That’s when many also realized she was married to the most successful man in their country, Azrael Dynar. Many could already see them as the power couple, both taking over in their business fields.
"Let’s go," Callum murmured, checking the time that was almost hitting 11.
Rivana nodded and walked down the stage. Mathew, Jeremy and their teams quickly followed her out of the hall. A few workers on their way to the lifts, made sure to stop by and bow to her, conveying that she had succeeded in wining their hearts.
"Well done, Rivana." Mathew patted her shoulder with a smile.
Rivana nodded to him and then looked at Jeremy who shared a warm smile. He was surprised to see her handle things with ease. If anybody else was in her spot, specifically his boss’s brilliant son Rafaelo, he would have arrogantly asked the workers to do better, warning them he wouldn’t go easy like his father.
Talk of the devil, they saw Rafaelo walking toward them.
"You have created quite a wave, sister. All workers seem to have melted for your drama," Rafaelo greeted Rivana with a smirk as he walked over to her with his hands in his pockets.
The bodyguards stepped forward immediately, guarding their madam. Rafaelo scoffed and took off his glasses, looking at Rivana, telling her to ask them to move away.
Rivana ignored him and turned to Jeremy, asking for details of the ongoing projects. She ignored Rafaelo and added, "Yes, send them to my office."
As she walked away, Rafaelo muttered under his breath, "This bitch."
Looking at her back, he added, "Minister Bason is back in town. I bet he would be eager to meet you."
Rivana stopped in her tracks at his words. Rafaelo smiled and walked closer as Rivana turned around and stared at him.
"I was looking through my old drive and found something very interesting from my high school graduation party," Rafaelo continued. Everyone was confused about what he was talking about, and Jeremy wondered if he was back to his old habits. But Rivana’s expression paled, her body trembling, and she had to grip Leonora’s arm.
Leonora held Rivana closely and growled, "What do you need, bastard?"
"Transfer everything by tomorrow, Rivana," Rafaelo declared in a confident voice. Walking up to her, he leaned closer and whispered, "If you don’t, the world will know who killed Xander that night."
Taking a step back, Rafaelo continued, "And you will lose everything you have earned until now. Your company, your wealth, and also," glancing at Callum, he added, "your rich husband."
