Stolen By My Billionaire Brother-In-Law-Chapter 67: Murderer’s Weakness
The next day, Rivana woke up only to find the space beside her empty. With a frown, she opened her eyes and looked around. She rubbed them and looked at the bathroom, wondering if Azrael was taking a shower. When she didn’t find him there, she sat up and, taking her phone, walked out of the room.
Rivana walked downstairs, and George came to greet her. "Good morning, Madam. Master and Young Master left at 2 AM since they had some issues back at Draxton," he informed her.
"Oh," Rivana nodded with a smile. "I need to leave quickly too. Can you arrange some breakfast for me, George?" Rubbing her stomach, she smiled, "I am hungry."
"Of course, Madam," George beamed in delight. With a bow, he hurried to the kitchen. Rivana rarely had any meals at the mansion, since she was always caught up in work, and needed to ensure their chefs did their best dishes.
Rivana walked back to her room. Texting Azrael to call, she went to shower once he was free. She quickly picked a good outfit since today she would officially meet the Faye Groups’ board members.
Straightening her hair, she applied light makeup, matching her suit. Just then, Azrael called her. She immediately picked it up and settled on the bed.
"Why didn’t you wake me up?" Rivana grumbled with a pout.
"You had a big day today and needed to get sufficient sleep," Azrael replied. There were lots of machine noises around, and Rivana could barely hear his voice.
"What’s wrong? Is the problem serious?"
Azrael hummed in response. "Our next car caught fire in the final testing phase. The launch date is just a month away, and this needs to be fixed immediately," he explained with a sigh.
Rivana sighed on the other end. Considering how Draxton cars usually had thousands of pre-orders even before the launch, it seemed like a big issue. "So, you won’t be returning soon..." she murmured in disappointment.
Azrael smiled and teased her, "Why? Missing me already?"
"Well, aren’t you?" Rivana questioned him back. "Wait! Don’t tell me you are on a date with your fiancé Marisa."
Azrael chuckled on the other side. Rivana smiled at the sound, glad to have distracted him for a minute. But his next words faded her smile quickly.
"Not a date, but I am meeting her tonight."
"What? Why?" Rivana retorted, unsure if he was just teasing her or being serious. "And why do you sound so happy about it?" she asked, having caught the excitement in his voice.
"Oh, am I?" Azrael replied innocently. "Maybe it’s just this city that’s bringing back all our old memories. We weren’t close, but we did have some good memories here."
Rivana fumed in frustration. Oh, what news to start her day with! And though she knew he was playing with her, it was still infuriating. Here she thought she would get on his nerves by bringing Marisa’s name, but he had successfully turned the tables again.
"Are you still there?" Azrael brought her out of her thoughts.
"No. I am hanging up," Rivana grumbled aloud. "Have fun!"
Azrael laughed again and quickly replied, "Alright, I will stop." He heard her huff on the other side, which brought a smile to his face. Rivana’s angry and puffed-out face surfaced in his mind, cute and fluffy like freshly baked buns. God! He was missing her already!
Just then, someone called for him, making Azrael sigh softly. "I need to go," he murmured, and Rivana’s anger dissipated.
"Callum will come with you to Faye Groups today. He will be there to assist you," Azrael added in a serious tone. He had cleared all his schedules just to accompany her on such a big day, but this emergency wrecked his plans. And Callum was the next best person who could smartly handle the political war.
Rivana smiled at his consideration. Her heart warmed, relief washing away her earlier fears. She hummed but was reluctant to end the call, and so was Azrael.
"Don’t skip meals. And make sure to tell Callum if things get hectic. My team will manage everything in your place," Azrael pressed on the important matters.
Rivana hummed again. A plan popped into her head. She kissed the screen. With a sheepish smile, she murmured, "Come back soon, okay?"
Before Azrael could reply, she cut the call. Azrael, who was speechless at the sound for a moment, blinked and looked at his phone. Shaking his head, he smiled and walked back into the project room.

Rivana finished her breakfast, and just then, a sleepy Callum walked in, looking almost half-dead. "Oh my god. Are you alright?" Rivana asked in worry.
Callum sat beside her and, turning to her, he cupped his face and asked, "Do I look alright to you?"
When Rivana shook her head, Callum cried in frustration. "Ah, I wish I was dead!" He had worked the entire night, fixing things and arranging tasks for Draxton workers here in Valencia. And just when he thought he would sleep, his humble boss called and ordered him to be Rivana’s assistant until she got used to the politics in Faye Groups.
Like seriously, he should have just killed him rather than torturing him like this every day.
"You should take a rest," Rivana murmured in a pitying voice. Patting his back, she added, "Trust me, I will manage it alone." 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
"No," Callum shook his head. If Azrael knew, he would only torture him more, and more importantly, he wanted to do it for her. She had become an important person in the Dynar family, and protecting her was his responsibility.
"Nora’s gonna be with me anyway. You should stay at home," Rivana tried to convince him. Though she’d love to have him on the board, she would feel bad if he was overworked.
"Nora?" Callum frowned in confusion. He wondered if she was her assistant, and then a woman flashed in his mind. "Leonora? That model friend of yours?" he questioned in horror.
Rivana nodded with a smile. But that only forced Callum to shake his head adamantly. "I definitely cannot leave you with that woman. She will cause trouble."
"Oh, what a lovely welcome," a familiar voice greeted them. As both turned around, Leonora was standing, arms crossed and her expression frustrated.
Rivana smiled apologetically, but Callum simply stared at the woman. Their clashes had only gotten worse ever since their first meeting, and he was stating facts. Leonora was the infamous troublemaker in the fashion industry, and he was damn sure she was more of a burden than a best friend to Rivana.
Leonora glared at the puppy assistant. "Look at you, bitching about me." She shuddered and made a disgusted face. "I was right! You are clearly obsessed with me like my anti-fans."
Callum scoffed out loud. "Obsessed? With you?" He pointed a finger at Leonora. When she nodded, he continued, "So the rumors were right! You are clearly a delusional princess."
Leonora gasped out loud. Running a hand through her hair, she rolled up her sleeves, ready to teach him a lesson. Just as she took a step forward, Rivana stepped between them, stopping her best friend from ending up in the police station again.
"You guys can fight later. We will be late for the meeting," Rivana said in a worried voice.
"Give me a minute. I will get ready." Callum got up from his chair. Grabbing the coffee cup George had just brought, he glared at Leonora before walking away.
Leonora stared at his back and sneered in annoyance. Turning to Rivana, she added, "How can your husband hire someone like him?"
"Let’s have some breakfast first," Rivana changed the subject. Pushing Leonora into the chair, she looked at George, who understood his task. "Our chefs have made lots of delicious food. You will like it."
"Really?" Leonora’s eyes beamed at the mention of food. When Rivana nodded, she excitedly sat on the chair.
Rivana sighed in response. She watched as Leonora happily tasted the dishes the maid brought for her, a smile spreading on her face.
Leonora had always been a huge foodie, but her mom had forced her into the fashion industry, chaining her with diets. If she wasn’t a model, Rivana was sure Leonora would have loved to become a food vlogger.
"Eat slowly," Rivana murmured, patting her head. She chuckled as Leonora stuffed the entire bread, her stress wavering off lightly.

Meanwhile, in the Faye Mansion, Rafaelo wore his tie, all set to make his entry as the new CEO.
Gianna, who had just walked in with the maid, gestured for the maid to place the tray on the table. Once the maid left, she looked at her son and murmured, "Do you think she will fall for it?"
"Don’t worry, Mom," Rafaelo smirked. "She will hand over the company at just the mention of his name." Turning around, he added, "After all, a murderer would always fall weak when they recall their victim."
