Leon paused for a moment and asked her one important question.

"Master, how do you feel after hearing all this?"

He hoped she didn’t change because of the things he had told her. It did seem he was some cliche chosen one, and she could even feel betrayed because of his identity.

He was holding his breath to hear her answer.

Seraphine noticed his nervousness. It seemed to her that he thought she would change because of it. She felt a bit annoyed to know this, as her love wasn’t so shallow—he should have been aware.
