SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God-Chapter 119: Elina
Chapter 119: Elina
[Ding! Systemwide Announcement: Player Blood God has achieved the first clear of the "Temple of the Flame Lords" Dungeon on Hard mode!]
A new system notification flashed in front of everyone’s eyes, and immediately, Thorne stood up. "Magicaa! He is coming out!"
Magicaa closed the notification, though a strange look could be seen in his eyes.
"He is just using the legendary weapon to blast through the dungeon. Our guess is that it gives him some amount of elemental resistance." Thorne quickly added, hoping that the top-class mage wouldn’t change his mind about helping them.
Magicaa, on the other hand, calmly replied. "Your hypothesis might not necessarily be true. It is actually not a big deal to solo-clear these dungeons. He should have cracked the shortcut behind clearing the dungeon. Every dungeon has this type of hidden shortcut. If done right, then dealing with the dungeon would be as easy as taking down a few elites."
After hearing the calm analysis, Thorne immediately felt a lot better. In the end, top-class players were indeed top-class players. Their state of mind in itself was vastly superior when compared to his.
"Listen to Magicaa, dude. He knows what he is talking about." Bertram added, prompting Thorne to give him an eye roll.
As the three of them were talking, all of a sudden, a figure walked out of the dungeon portal. The figure was decked in flashy red and gold gear from top to bottom, and he held a big axe in his hand. The appearance was completely different from that of the player who had gone in the first time.
Just from the looks of it, many items he was wearing were at least Epic grade, and everyone couldn’t help but drool. Clearly, the drop rate has been generous for the first clear achievement. Even Thorne and Betram were staring slack-jawed as they hadn’t actually expected the guy to casually show up like this.
While everyone stared in yearning and awe, finally, a voice shouted out loud. "Blood God is here!"
Thorne did not waste time and immediately activated both the seals.
[Ding! The area is now affected by Space Lock Seal and Equipment Lock Seal.]
[Teleportation, flight, escape skills, and active item abilities are restricted for 10 minutes within a 500-meter radius.]
A blue dome shimmered into place around the dungeon portal, and all eyes zeroed in on the newly emerged figure.
Damon blinked once. Then twice. He tilted his head and looked at the glowing dome like it were a mildly interesting inconvenience. His crimson eyes shimmered with amusement, not panic.
"What? I can’t use my awesome new set? Fuck, I worked hard to get this set guys! Come on!" Damon groaned dramatically.
Thorne gritted his teeth in anger. Even after seeing everything, the guy still did not care about shit! He instantly revved up, unleashing his best and most powerful attack. "Everybody! Get the hell in formation and start blasting this asshole!"
Magicaa stood at the rear, hands lazily twirling a crimson spell circle that pulsed like a heartbeat. Thorne’s voice cut through the silence like a whip.
"Blood God. You’re surrounded. You can’t teleport. Your gear’s suppressed. No legendary tricks this time." Thorne dashed forward, wielding the strongest skill of a warrior-type class, [Judgment Breaker], a high-level gap closer that locked onto the target’s vitals and came with a temporary armor-shredding debuff.
The skill roared to life, his greatsword crackling with energy as he charged straight for Damon like a human siege engine.
Damon, however, didn’t move. Not even an inch.
His axe rested across his shoulders, one hand loosely curled around the hilt, his crimson eyes calm... and faintly glowing. Almost like he was bored.
Thorne roared and brought the blade down like a guillotine, just as Damon tilted his head slightly to the side. The sword missed by a breath, slamming into the ground and sending a shockwave of dust and cracked stone outward.
That’s when Damon moved.
With a simple flex of his fingers, he slashed upward with a bare hand glowing with blood mana. The impact hit Thorne square in the gut, lifting him off the ground and sending him crashing into his own front line like a meteor. Several players were knocked down just by the force of the impact.
"Legendary tricks?" Damon said with a smirk, stepping forward as blood began to swirl like mist around his body. "I don’t need tricks."
A wave of bloodlust slammed into the players around him like a physical wall. Lower-level players instantly dropped to their knees, hands clutching at their chests as fear swallowed them whole. They froze in place, cold sweat beading down their necks.
Hmm? Damon raised a brow. He knew he was strong, but he wasn’t this strong. Not yet. Right at this moment, Blood Reign quickly chimed in.
"Blood God, you might be in trouble. This asshole inadvertently did something that could actually harm you. The seal has blocked my abilities. I am unable to hide your aura while you are still in this area. Get out. Get out now. Break that seal somehow. Otherwise, someone powerful might sniff us out and get to us. Run. Now. It might already be too late!"
"You’ve gotta be kidding me..." Damon muttered. He needed to fucking speed things up. Ten minutes was too long. Just like Blood Reign reminded him, if he stayed in here, other things might get complicated.
However, seals were not completely unbreakable. Perhaps if he tried his best attack, pumping all of his mana and boosting it with his innate strength? Just as he prepared the attack, several attacks flew over to him, disrupting him mid-cast. This was going to get tedious.
But Damon had a new card up his sleeve. "You guys are lucky. I didn’t plan to introduce my new friend just yet, but it looks like I have to let her out after all. Please welcome, Elina, my little snake."
The next second, everyone froze in shock as a huge twenty-foot-long snake appeared out of thin air.
