SpiderGwen: I have a system?!-Chapter 177: Serum Hunting

[3rd POV]

A couple of days later, Gwen was out and about on Earth, hunting down more objects and powers of note that were there. Mostly for herself, as there were several serums that she needed for the plan that she had.

First of which was the remaining spiders that Oscorp had in their facilities. As it turns out, they were not dead here, and were just waiting to be taken away and claimed for herself. Peter Parker had already been bitten, and potentially more than just him, so she didn't feel bad as she quietly walked through the hidden rooms of Oscorp.

Being hidden from the sights of others, she walked forward and found herself standing in front of a large cage that held over a dozen spiders, each and every one of them being similar in nature to the one that had bitten Peter Parker and Cindy Moon, and the ones that would eventually bite Miles Morales and all the others.

Reaching her hand out, a soft glow formed in front of her as the dozen different spiders were teleported off, being sent to a proper place that could hold them, and one that could be utilized in the future for her plans.

Continuing her way through the hidden labs of Oscorp, Gwen made her way to where the Goblin serum was held, a serum that would eventually be used to turn Norman Osborn into the Green Goblin. Finding the serum had been easy, and without even hesitating, she put the vial back into where she had held the spider, another serum still there for Osborn.

She had done this again several times more with other serums that could be a boon to her.

From the super soldier serum that was held in various locations, with various levels of strength, to the infinity formula that was used to grant lessened forms of immortality. She had even found and claimed the calypso serum that had granted Kraven the Hunter all his abilities. There was also the Lazarus formula, the Heart Shaped Herb and its synthetic version. The final of which was the SO-2 formula, the same one that had given birth to the Man-Thing.

Each of them were sent off to the same place as the objects, with her even sending her clones out to find other serums around the universe, ones that were alien in nature included. She wanted to have over 100 of them ready by the time her project was finished. She estimated said project would be over and done with in the next couple of years, as it required a...sizeable amount of items.

Gwen had gathered them all by the end of the day thanks to the hard work of her clones. And by the time they were all gathered it was time for dinner, sitting around a dinner table eating the food that Gwen had made, a delicious meal.

"So, Gwen, where were you today? I saw your clones around the city, but didn't see you yourself" Jean asked as she was touring around the city more than what was shown by Gwen the days before. The city was huge and it would take a lot of time before she got a good feel for the entirety of it.

"I was gathering some supplies for a project I'm working on. It's one of the more important ones so it's requiring a lot of different unique items in order to work to its fullest potential. I'm probably 25% of the way finished with it and still have a hell of a lot more to do before it's all completed" Gwen replied, not seeing any reason not to tell the girl who was just curious.

"What about you girls, what'd you all do today?"

"Toured around the city! It's really incredible Gwen! So many different shops and awesome sights to see! I especially loved the aquarium with sea animals from around the universe" Jean replied, remembering the sea creatures that were all sorts of unique. From ones that were the size of a skyscraper, to ones that literally ate diamonds to survive, there was even ones that had telepathic abilities, albeit weak ones.

"Glad you liked it. Did you check out the zoo? It was a pain in the ass to get some of those animals from around the universe and make sure they were able to live comfortably without any of the immoral crap that tends to happen back on Earth" Gwen asked as they nodded.

"Yep! My favorite was the one that looked like a lion but breathed lightning and shocked everything it touched" Aremis said, remembering the black and blue colored lion-like creature that had caught her eye.

"Ah that one is from a small planet that was inhabitable to most civilizations thanks to the power of its animal life. So I found some and took them here where they could live in comfort and safety without having to worry about other much larger creatures eating them" Gwen replied, nodding at the choice. It was a cool animal to say the least.

"I personally liked the library quite a lot. It had more books in it than I have seen anywhere else in my life. I suppose that makes sense though, considering the library is larger than a football arena" Raven said, remembering that the map was huge.

"It's actually quite a bit larger too, as there is an underground area and several floors. As far as I know it is larger than any library on Earth, with over 750 million books within it, many of them being personally written by my tens of thousands of clones made for this library" Gwen said, as she had worked on the library for quite some time, and more was constantly being added to it.

It housed teachings and knowledge on all sorts of things, all of them well beyond Earth's current level of technology, as well as martial arts, art, and more. Basically the treasure trove of any scientist, researcher, or lover of reading, as it also housed fictional books that she had knowledge of, millions of them in fact.

Raven's eyes widened slightly at the number, as her eyes sparkled with thinly veiled excitement, realizing all the books she would be able to read in there.

"And yes, babe, you can go in there and take whichever books you want as long as you return them once you finish them" Gwen said, smirking in amusement at the excitement on her girlfriends face, excitement that was...fair in her eyes.

"I saw the martial arts centers too. You plan on training mutants to fight?" Artemis asked as Gwen nodded. These centers were made to teach them on how to defend themselves, and were run by various androids she had made that were loaded with every martial art on planet Earth in order to properly train others in the art.

"Yep, but only so they can defend themselves in the event that anything happens that would require it. Considering the sort of universe we are in, it's likely that something will sooner or later" Gwen replied with a nod, didn't want anyone living in her city to be defenseless, which is why she wanted them all to be trained and ready in case anything happened.

"That's smart, but how do you know they won't use those lessons for a bad reason?" Jean asked as Gwen simply smiled.

"Trust me Jean, I'll know before they even try it" Gwen said, giving her a mysterious smirk as she leaned back and continued to eat, the girls just fondly rolling their eyes at her response, while Jean tilted her head in slight confusion, but decided not to question it. All the while, Gwen had only one thought on her mind.

'...Soon, soon this place will become all it should be...and soon mutant kind will change for good'

Basically just more talking and that's about it. Next Chapter will be a time skip to the tour of the city to the parents and other students, and the beginning of more and more big events happening. She'll be getting into some fights soon, don't worry about that.
