[3rd POV]

Time passed since Jean had moved to Malzif with the girls and had begun her extensive training in the Phoenix Force. And quite a lot had happened over the couple of weeks that had passed, most of it involving readying the city, and a whole lot of training.

During those weeks, Gwen had continued to thoroughly train Jean in how to control and use the phoenix force within her, bonding with the phoenix more and more, and was even beginning to communicate with the thing inwardly, albeit to a limited degree.

Gwen had gathered dozens more serums and various items for the project. Each and every one of them were gathered and found from around the universe for the project, dozens of them found in the time of only a couple of weeks. With her even creating a large mass of them as well, all being made using her knowledge, an incredible amount of knowledge at her disposal made this laughably easy.

A majority of them were magical in nature, but there was some that were made through various sciences.

During that time, she had developed Malzif a bit more using the many many suggestions the girls had given her, including more types of plants and flowers to make it look a bit better, and just more wildlife that made it all seem a bit more natural.

And thanks to her development and mass gathering of serums, potions, elixirs, pills, etc that could be used to strengthen herself, she had ended up completing some quests in return.

The completion of all those quests had put her to 229 TL Tickets which were then converted and used as SSL tickets. She didn't really need TL tickets, not really anymore. The 4 SSL characters were naturally going to be better for her.

The new additions had been decent, but welcome either way. Mainly Xia Ning Chang thanks to her ability to turn energies into pills that can be consumed, a powerful ability when combined with Gwen's knowledge in the area. She was already working on mass producing pills for various needs, her clones working around the clock to do so.

But now it was finally time for the massive tour of the city, as Xavier had already gathered all the parents and students, all of them waiting to see what this field trip would be, as they hadn't been given much information besides the fact that it would be life altering.

Standing in the middle of the field in front of the school, Xavier sat, waiting for Gwen to arrive, the students whispering to one another about what this field trip could be, while the parents sat around in growing confusion on what this could be about.

They were soon cut off from their silence as a soft crack echoed throughout the area, as a large portal formed in front of the group, Gwen stepping through with a smile on her face, and amusement in her eyes at the look of fright on their faces.

"Hello there everyone! I am Gwen, the one who runs this little...field trip that you'll all be going on! Now c'mon, we've got a lot to see, and not a lot of time to see it!" Gwen said with a grin as she motioned for them to follow her through the portal, the parents all looked at one another silently in confusion, before watching as the students began to follow, stepping through the portal with little reaction, while parents slowly did as well, nervous but deciding to trust their kids, and...they were glad they did.

"Whoa" A student whispered in awe, as they found themselves looking over a titanic city that sprawled on for miles upon miles, larger than any city they had seen in all their lives.

"Welcome to the city of Malzif, also known as the City for Mutants" Gwen said with a smile, as they all looked at the city in awe, noticing the ships that were flying around above the city, being run by androids that were transporting supplies around the planet.

"Wha-what is this place Charles?" A parent asked, as Xavier turned and looked at the mother who had asked that, a small smile forming on his face.

"The future" Xavier said simply, as Gwen chuckled.

"Now, let us get down there shall we? After all there is much to see and much to do! If you've got questions regarding this place, ask them" Gwen said as they all stumbled, the platform beginning to move towards the grounds below as sounds of surprise escaped the parents.

As the platform moved to the grounds, the parents began to ask question, with a woman with long brown hair asking the first question, a woman that Gwen recognized as Bobby/Iceman's mother.

"What is this place? How-How was it created without anyone noticing?"

"This is the city for Mutants, Miss Drake. It has been built for the sole purpose of housing and protecting the entire mutant population of Earth. It has all the commodities necessary to do so, as well as enough housing, security, and anything else you could think of, in order to handle that many people in one city. As for no one noticing, it has a large "Force Field" of sorts around it, protecting it from the sights of others, with only those who have visited the city before being able to see it from the outside" Gwen answered, not minding the questions, as they were good ones, and were inevitable either way.

"How does this place run? There doesn't look to be anyone living here" A man asked.

"It is currently being run by automated androids that have the sole purpose of running the city and keeping it going. Once more and more people begin to move here, that will naturally change, but for now the androids are needed, otherwise this place would fall apart rapidly" Gwen answered, as they grew closer to the grounds below, nearly there.

"Where did you even get the funding for such a thing? Especially for such a young girl like yourself" A man asked as Gwen smiled.

"I'm a mutant as well, sir. Things like funding matters...very little to me due to what my power entails" Gwen replied with a simple smile on her face, not giving away any sort of information.

"And why are you showing us all of this?"

"Because your children are mutants, sir. And soon I begin to give offers to mutants around the world to move and live in this city, a city where they won't be bullied, harassed, experimented on, and in constant danger. A city where the mutants of the world will be safe, truly safe" Gwen responded simply, as the parents began to understand.

"This isn't a field trip, is it? It's an offer, an offer for us to come to this city of yours" One of the parents asked, as Gwen looked at the man, before chuckling.

"I'm not going to deny it, but yes, it is. I don't expect any of you to simply accept or anything, which is the purpose of this "Field Trip" to show you what this place is, and what it can become with people living here" Gwen replied with a shrug, not even denying it. As she said this, the platform landed on the ground as she grinned, and turned back to them, and spoke.

"Well, ready for the tour?"
