SpiderGwen: I have a system?!-Chapter 150 - : New Materials, Talk with Xavier

[3rd POV]

It was a couple of days since gaining the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, and Gwen had done a little during that time. Mostly in regards to warping Mars, and increasing the size of her city. It had continued to go swimmingly, and thanks to a eureka moment (And a facepalm that soon followed) Gwen had realized that she indeed did have Adamantium...in her claws.

She felt like punching herself when she realized, somehow forgetting that she had them, totally not because of the author or anything...

Anyways, with that piece of info, she had been able to get a good, close look at pure adamantium. And from this, she had seen the atomic makeup of the Adamantium, and it was...incredible. Beyond being incredible, it was also incredibly complicated, and required very very specific materials and ratios to properly make the nigh-indestructible material.

It's a good thing that Gwen had infinite materials, and was a master in such an area, with experience far beyond any other human in the universe. So, within a day, she had around 100 pounds (45 kilograms) of Adamantium, ready to be used and taken advantage of.

This Adamantium was almost immediately adapted into the defenses around the city, which thanks to sacrificing a bit of it to a special ritual regarding a barrier, it had massively strengthened the durability of the large barrier that was over the city, so much so that it could tank planet destroying attacks with relative ease, something that it could do before, but with far more difficulty.

She planned on eventually getting proto-adamantium after looking over Cap's shield. With that, she would then work to create her "Ultimate Material" which would be a fusion of Proto-Adamantium, Vibranium, Uru, Nth Metal, and a few others to create the most powerful metal she could create, at least, at the moment.

But at the very least, she would be able to create some new and improved androids and robots that would be made of Adamantium, primarily for the running of certain functions of the city that others cannot handle, as well as defenses. The power they'd have would be well beyond the Spider Legion back in the Young Justice universe.

With the new character she had gotten, Mori Hui, she had made around 100 clones that were at constant work on martial arts, working to combine her various martial arts into one seamless form. The progress on that was about as monstrous as you'd expect. So now she was having them improve upon the techniques that she already had, to strengthen them to entirely new heights by combining them with various energies that she had within her.

She was also hard at work with the Force, as she had another 100 clones or so constantly meditating, growing their connection to the Force. Just as she had another 100 working on growing their connection to the speed force, all so she'd get stronger and stronger, and faster and faster, to reach entirely new levels of power.

At the moment Gwen was sat in one of the living rooms of the mansion, sipping on some coffee as her sight was elsewhere. The sight of Heimdall was quite the gift when it came to things like this.

'Looks like Baldy and his right hand women are going to be here soon. Guess that means I'll be dealing with a lot of annoying people soon. While it seems that HYDRA isn't in SHIELD in this universe, and are openly existing in the world like in the comics, they're still going to come after me eventually. And that's not even including AIM and all the other groups. SHIELD alone is going to be annoying as all hell with their high and mighty attitude. Not to mention the fact that they have some heroes on their "Team" already, like Captain Marvel, or Carol Danvers' Gwen thought, as there were some heroes that were already out and about already.

Captain Marvel, Spiderman, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Punisher, Blade, and quite a few others. The Fantastic Four hadn't gotten together yet, but they did exist, and were seemingly growing closer and closer to becoming what they were meant to be.

There was one hero of them all that caught her attention more than any others, and one that she would HAVE to keep a very very close eye on. For he was...dangerous, incredibly so, and more than that, he was far stronger than her at the moment.

The hero known as...The Sentry.

The fact that the Sentry existed here, and was seemingly somewhat comic accurate was...concerning, very concerning. Considering his...personality, she would need to be careful in regards to him, considering he had the might of a "Million exploding suns" whatever that meant. He was also widely considered the most powerful Hero in Marvel Comics, and was basically the Superman of Marvel, but...arguably stronger (on average at least) than Superman was in the comics (USUALLY).

Gwen was pulled out of her thoughts as Hank's voice entered her ears "Gwen? The Professor would like to speak with you, it's important" Hank said, as Gwen turned to him before nodding, getting to her feet as she followed the man into Xavier's office.

"Gwen, it's good you're here, we have a rather important group of gu-" "You mean the SHIELD director and agents that are like 10 minutes away? Yeah I know about them, I also know that they're here because they think a member of this school are the "Shadow Hero" that is saving people around the world" Gwen said, cutting the man off as his eyes went wide.

He had talked with Fury on the phone, and he certainly didn't say anything about that. Xavier frowned at this new piece of information, as he began to look at Gwen with a sigh, understanding now. The girl in front of him was becoming more and more mysterious as the days passed, as more and more secrets were revealed, and more questions began to reveal themselves.

"I see. Well, he will find nothing in regards to them here. I just hope he will not try and brute force this matter" Xavier said with a sigh, he had known Fury long enough to know the man wouldn't just stop at this. He would do everything he can to figure out who they are, even sending out Captain Marvel and other heroes that worked with Shield, in order to find them.

"Good. So...what else is he here for? Because quite frankly, this visit seems completely and utterly useless to him" Gwen asked, as she was interested to see the response.

"SHIELD is a rather large donor for the school, they are also ones with a...certain interest in mutants, primarily the ones who control the group. It is only thanks to Fury that my students haven't been stripped from me by those who wish for nothing more than to control the power they possess" Xavier explained as Gwen nodded slowly.

"I see. In regards to that...problem with having them stripped from you, I am currently working on a rather...large project. One that I think can give the mutants of this planet a safe haven, one that none of the Governments can touch. It's slow going at the moment, but I expect to have it done and completed within 3 months" Gwen replied as Xavier looked interested.

"May I ask what the project is?"

"It is a city, one that is being especially created to accommodate any and all mutants, while being safe enough to handle any threat thrown at it. Once it's completed, we'll speak more on it, as its still far from done, and I wish to make sure it is completely safe and secure before explaining more about it" Gwen replied as the man nodded slowly in understanding, deciding to drop that subject for now.

Gwen glanced to the side as she saw a nondescript SUV stop in front of the school, as she turned to Xavier and spoke out loud.

"Well then...are you ready to speak with a Pirate?"

Originally this was going to be a chapter dedicated to meeting Fury, but I decided to have it one for some more talking with Xavier and explaining a bit more about this universes differences from what she knows.

Next chapter will be the first proper meeting with Fury and co, and will have a lot more going on...hopefully.
