Sinner System-Chapter 553: Final Dungeon - Final Floor (Part 7)
Point-of-View: Gula

The Archdemon tensed in alarm as I leapt towards her and closed in in the blink of an eye. A shimmer started to appear around her as she began to chant, before I drove my right arm out and clamped my hand around her mouth before she could finish her chant, my claws digging into her cheeks as a muffled cry rang out.
"Mmfph!"
"<Time to die>," I uttered, tightening my grip around her mouth as I began to plummet, firing out my petrifying beams straight at the middle of her face, before dragged the beams down as I slowly lowered my gaze down along her neck, chest and abdomen.
As I landed back down with a thud, her entire body was fully petrified, turned to stone from head to toe.
She technically is not dead, not yet...once petrified, after a full hour passes, the petrification wears off.
She is motionless and helpless, but she is still conscious. However, all she has is her thoughts, she has been deprived of all five senses.
I slammed my fist against her torso, shattering it to pieces and exposing her Core, which was also petrified.
I grabbed the Core as it began to fall out, before tightening my grip and shattering it pieces, finishing her off.
How vexing, to have required assistance to win this battle. While I was certainly in no danger of losing, it certainly would have taken much longer to end this.
"<Thank you, comrade of my King, I appreciate your assistance>," I remarked, as I slithered over and approached her.
"Oh, um...don’t worry about it," She responded awkwardly.
Hm...why is she so ill at ease? Strange.

"I have wanted to kill you for quite a long time, vermin. Unfortunately, you are already dead...but I wager that if your master were to fall, so would you," Smirked the Archdemon tauntingly.
"<I will not stand for any threats or insults to the Chief. And one as weak as you even entertaining the idea that you could actually defeat him is an insult I will not ignore, know your place. You will suffer for your offense...is what I would normally say, but unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of taking my time>," I uttered icily, before an immense burst of Ether erupted around me, swirling intensely and wrapping around my body, my feet floating up off the ground. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
"Hah, how delusional, do you truly believe-...?" He began with a scoff, before trailing off as I shot towards him with a sharp burst of speed as I propelled myself with Ether, his eyes widening as I closed in on him in an instant.
I formed a blade of Ether along my right hand and whipped it across at his Core, slicing off his left arm as he quickly veered across in alarm, my Ether blade slicing through his elbow.
I swiftly unleashed a pressurized burst of Ether around myself to blow him away as he began to charge up Negative Energy, pushing him away several meters through the air, before I turned across in his direction and fired out a rapid, piercing beam of Ether towards his Core.
My beam tore through the right side of his torso and burst out his back as he twisted his body across, narrowly missing his Core.
"D-Damn it...[Demonic Art: Unseen Blade]!" He roared, zipping up towards the ceiling before swooping down towards me with immense speed, unleashing a pressurized burst of Negative Energy behind himself as he closed in and drove his left arm forward.
I swiftly veered across, something grazing my side, before he suddenly grabbed my right leg with his tail, jerking it sharply to pull me off balance, before lunging forward and driving his left hand forward again.
I felt a sharp point piercing into the right side of my chest as I twisted my body across, a smirk spreading out across his face as he sliced through my flesh, the sharp point bursting out my back.
An invisible blade, is it? Unfortunately for him...
"<What a convenient turn of events, to think that you would willingly and so foolishly enter my reach. This fight is over>," I uttered coldly, swiftly grabbing his forearm before he could pull his invisible blade out of my chest.
"[D-Demonic Art-...]!" He began frantically, before his voice was drowned out as an immense, concentrated mass of Ether erupted and swirling around me violently.
I felt him seize up in agony as the torrential energy took the form of a large swirling sphere of densely concentrated Ether around me, intensifying and swirling faster and faster with every passing second, his body disintegrating at an increasing rate.
He thrashed and struggled against my grasp to no avail, his skin and most of his flesh vaporized. He tried to generate Negative Energy, only for it to get drowned in the mass of Ether eating away at his body.
As several glimpses of his skeleton came into view, I caught sight of his Core, a glimmer in the middle of his torso shining out.
I took a moment to compose myself and focus, before I tensed my body in exertion as I channeled all the Ether I’d generated and intensified straight into his Core.
The Core erupted into tiny shards in an instant, the little that was left of the rest of his body getting blown into dozens of small chunks of flesh and splintered bone shards, a thin blood mist flowing down before me as I dissipated the Ether I’d generated.
I let out a slow, quiet exhale to calm myself as I floated back down towards the ground, the Ether wrapped around me fading away as I landed with a soft thud.
I really would have liked to have made him suffer a bit more before killing him, but at the very least, I definitely gave him a most painful death.
Now, then...have the others wrapped up their battles too?
