The Phantom part of his Intent was a manifestation of his deadly efficiency and calculated brutality when using his axes. It makes his strikes silent and undetectable to the senses of even Tier 4s and Tier 5s.

As for the Plague part of his Intent, it was a fusion of poison, decay, and entropy.

Corey’s axe intent doesn’t just physically wound those struck by it, it spread toxins through the target’s body, mana, soul, and even willpower. The poison could be instant or it could gradually worsen, leading to death over time.

Beyond poison, his intent accelerates rotting, corrosion, and withering. Anything struck, whether it was flesh, metal, or energy, they start breaking down, and they become brittle and useless. Even weapons and armor deteriorate after repeated contact.

The last and to Corey’s surprise, the most important and most likely the most dangerous ability of his newly formed Intent was the Entropy aspect.

Entropy is the measure of disorder in a system, and when applied to his axe intent, it meant several things.

His strikes don’t just wound, they also make the wounds wither, and the lower the tier of his enemy, the faster the rate of withering occurs.

Secondly, mana or any form of energy becomes greatly disturbed when struck by his Intent, and this makes it harder for his enemies to fight back. The higher the tiers of his enemy, the less disturbed the energy of his enemy becomes.

And lastly, once his axe intent cuts something, it cannot return to its original state unless the cut object or being is acted upon by a being that is way beyond Corey’s level.

As Corey went through the newly gained abilities of his Phantom Plague Axe Intent, he was pleasantly surprised by the massive difference between his Phantom Plague Axe Intent and his previous normal Axe Intent.

’Axe Intent only increased the sharpness, force, and durability of my axe by 100%, but Phantom Plague Axe Intent not only increases the sharpness, force, and durability of my axe by 200%, it’s also silent, spreads toxins, decays, and has the power of entropy… The difference is just too much.’

At some point in time, Corey was no longer breezing through the steps by waving his hand. Now, he had to manifest his axe intent and fight the manifestation and sometimes manifestations of the Will of the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal.

Corey’s manifestation of his Phantom Plague Axe Intent split three golden axes in two, and as the golden motes of light flew into his body, Corey’s instincts told him that the next step was going to be different than the others.

’The Will of the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal has been learning my moves, adapting to my Intent, and it has been getting stronger. This last battle was not so simple and it was dangerous, a single mistake and my Intent would have been shattered.’

Corey furrowed his brows as the environment around him changed.
