A rip resounded in Corey’s ears, and Corey saw a cut on his clothes and skin, but he didn’t stop. He applied more force to his left hand, and then he pushed the golden axes far away to the side.

As Corey did this, his body was already moving. He jumped to the side, dodging the attacks of five golden attacks.

Before his feet could touch the ground, three golden axes appeared from out of nowhere and attacked him. With a calm and extremely focused expression, he manifested a black double-edged axe which blocked a golden axe, while the axes in his hand were used to parry the attacks of the last two golden axes.

However, despite parrying the attack of the golden axes, Corey was surprised by the power behind the attacks of the axes. If not for the perfect control he had over his body, he would have tumbled on the ground, and then his body would have been skewed by hundreds of golden axes.

’They’re getting stronger?’

Corey’s eyes flashed with a cold light as he twisted and turned in the air. Two golden axes streaked past his right and left cheek, leaving a golden trail of light in the air. Corey was about to move, but then he noticed a cut appear on his right cheek.

’I dodged the attacks, but I was still cut?’ Corey frowned deeply, and then he glanced at the massive golden axe which remained in the air.

’I can’t continue like this. If these small axes are this strong, then how strong would that axe be… I’ll most likely die or suffer a grievous injury.’

But if it worked, Corey knew that the benefits would most likely be immense.
