Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 669: Qu Family

The Ancient Elf King, Andromeda, didn’t expect that Yue Xuexia would analyze the whole situation of their current universe with just the events that unfolds in her past life. No one had expected the woman, despite being a lovestruck one, to be one of the people in this world who can see through the current situation of their universe. It can also be said that in fact this lady was never directly involved with the secrets of their universe. Even though she had married their youngest and strongest guardian, it didn’t mean that the Immortal Sun Emperor would be open to her telling these kinds of secrets. Everyone knows that the Moon Empress and the Sun Emperor never got along with one another. How else would the Moon Empress be called to be only an Empress in title and nothing more.

Ancient Elf King Andromeda couldn’t help but ask, "Is this something your past self knows or... you just derived this result by knowing a few things about the events that had happened in the past?"

She seems to call but in reality all kinds of scenarios had been playing within her mind. This prediction is the closest to reality according to her divination and probability. That’s why she had tested the reaction of the Ancient Elf King as to test how far she is from the truth. It seems she had guessed a minority but not entirely the majority. The senior’s thoughts and knowledge are limited as well as hers. That’s why she considered this result just sometimes minor. To know the real truth, she can only investigate when she ascends to the Immortal World.

This answer from the Moon Goddess just left the Ancient Elf King speechless even more. Without much contact from the Immortal World itself and just with the limited information from her past self she was able to guess about the existence of the hidden being from the beyond.

The Ancient Elf King asked a few more things about what the Moon Goddess thought about her guess and as expected her words were on point that it even cleared some of his confusions. He was so amazed by her that she couldn’t stop complimenting her about her ideas.

Yue Xuexia said, "I had enough drink for tonight, since the moon is out so nicely, I will go train."

"Sure. Go ahead." Ancient Elf King Andromeda said as the Moon Goddess excused herself for tonight.

He watches him go under the moonlight and meditate and train. For those who are sensitive to the energies of the world, they will notice the pure and powerful energy of the moon swirling around the Moon Goddess entering her body. As if she is some kind of black hole, this energy was absorbed by her body. To the others who can see the energy they can only see her meditating under the moonlight slightly glowing with silvery glitter.

When the sun had risen the next dawn, Yue Xuexia opened her eyes, preparing to leave.

"It’s time for me to go back. The purging of the foreign cultivators isn’t finished yet." Yue Xuexia said.

The Ancient Elf King, Andromeda, said, "Not all of them have to be purged. There are among them who had truly been kicked out of their original worlds and found love on this planet. You should spare those who haven’t done anything yet or had no intention of being the enemy of you."

"That’s my plan. If they are willing to start a new life in this star without harming my people, I am willing to welcome them as well. I should get going now, Great Grandfather," said Yue Xuexia.

Ancient Elf King Andromeda said, "Call me when it’s time to leave. I cannot open the portal like you do and have to travel a few hundred years before arriving in this world. I even lost my physical body on the way."

"Yes. I will have someone pick you up at the right time," said Yue Xuexia as she suddenly disappeared on the spot, obviously she teleported back to where she came from.

After the Moon Goddess had disappeared, Ancient Elf King Andromeda smiled, "I wonder how people would react once they met this new Moon Goddess whom they used to look down upon. I can’t help but imagine those old fools who think they are the top of the world only to be defeated by a junior. Haha~"

Back to the country of Huaxia.

Yue Xuexia was once again buried in cleaning up the foreign cultivators. After most of these cultivators were killed and some were spared, she started targeting all the clans and sects that dared to betray their world for the sake of their own survival even by the means of harming their own country’s people. In the eyes of the Moon Goddess they are merely parasites that need to be cleaned up.

In the palace, Yue Xuexia was reading the reports from the government and suddenly a civil officer had arrived to report some news. This news had something to do with what the Moon Goddess had asked them to investigate. Ling Wen received the report and passed it to Yue Xuexia.

Ling Wen said, "Goddess, here is what you’ve asked for."

"Good work," said Yue Xuexia as she started reading the contents of the report.

What she had the government investigated are the changes in her properties while she is not around. As she read through the report and as she had expected a lot of her people had been replaced and most of them were from the Si Clan. The more she looked through the reports the colder her face had gone.

Her cousins from both her mother and father side were removed from the hotels and other companies. Even her friends were fired from the companies she had given to them to take over. Upon investigation, some had betrayed them from the inside and had them replaced by those people from the Si Clan. However, for some reason, they were killed like her other relatives as if someone had been protecting them from the foreign cultivators.

Though they had lost their jobs, her people had safely returned to their home. Among the people within the Si Clan, a name seems to be familiar to her.

She couldn’t help but read this name, "Si Lengya?"

After the Moon Goddess and her family had left for the Cultivation Realm, the mansion was left to their niece, Su Rukia. However, after she had returned the one who was living in their house was someone else. It was someone from the Su family, but it wasn’t the family of Su Rukia. Su Rukia herself had gone missing and her family as well.

The one who took over the place is none other than the family that used to look down on the Yue Family when they were still poor. The very same family that Yue Xuexia never liked from her maternal side, her aunt who had married from Qu Family.

This is a family of parasites and according to the investigations, it was these people who had told everything about what they knew about her, her companies and everything she owns.

Yue Xuexia mumbles, "They never change when it comes to money."

"Do you want us to handle it?" Ling Wen asked.

Yue Xuexia thought for a while and said, "Do it. Throw them to jail, and if there are some cultivators among them, cripple them. Every penny and every thing in the house they destroyed, they must repay it for the rest of their lives. As for the Si Clan, I shall handle them."

"As you wish, Goddess!" Ling Wen said.

Yue Xuexia had once again disappeared from the office but everyone knew where she had gone through. On the other hand, after the Moon Goddess had left, Ling Wen commanded people to gather and leave with him to head to the Moonlight Manor.

Ling Wen said, "Gather some people and come with me to the Moonlight Manor to clean up the place."

Meanwhile at the Moonlight Manor which is the main residence of the Yue Family.

The family of Qu had already heard about the return of the Moon Goddess to this realm. They were terrified as they knew what they had done was all wrong. Madam Qu and her family had gathered in the living room and they were all feeling anxious and scared. Their betrayal and actions of taking over the Yue Family’s properties was something that cannot be easily forgiven.

"Mom, are we truly going to leave? Isn’t this our house already?" The second daughter of the Qu family asked.

The eldest daughter of the Qu family said, "Shut up! Even though this place is already under our names, it was done through illegal means and for cultivators where strength matters more, as long as Yue Xuexia is stronger than us, that title deed is just a useless paper."

"Do you truly believe that she is all powerful as the news said? It might just be a hoax." The only son of the Qu family said.

Mr. Qu said, "It’s better to check on Young Miss Xu. As long as we have her word, we should be safe. There is also the old lady, as long as she comes back with her, she will not kill us at least."
