Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 668: Losing Side

After the second prince of the sand country this humanoid bug took his leave, the beastmen who were expecting his backing had turned pale. They already knew that the news about the extermination of the soul hall, spirit world and insect race cultivators being exterminated were real and that they couldn’t leave this planet anymore. Moreover, they had offended someone connected to the owner of this planet which meant they would have a hard time talking through just for their survival alone.

Seeing how things had ended, the beastmen race all kneel down before the Moon Goddess begging her to spare them. Yue Xuexia looked at them with a cold gaze. If she was only expressionless before now her presence was so powerful that she wouldn’t even lose against being like the Immortal Sun Emperor and the Immortal Star Emperor.

Ancient Elf King Andromeda who knew the former Moon Empress was stunned. He also knew Yue Xuehua of the past, it was well known that except for her reputation as a love struck girl, she is also weaker compared to normal God King cultivators. After all, she is a pampered princess of the Moon Clan. Only her title as the Moon Empress was impressive but that is just an empty title as she was an infamous weakest empress in the Immortal World.

The Moon Goddess said to the beastmen, "You have two choices. First, you accept my soul mark and your life will be in my hands but you can live on this planet and I shall give you a land to live on. Second, I will throw you out in space and you will randomly be teleported somewhere nearby. As for your life and death, this Empress doesn’t care at all."

The pressure of the Moon Goddess’s eyes made the beastmen shivers. However, those who come in as family didn’t hesitate to come and choose the first one. Some ambitious solo cultivators choose the second option. They didn’t wish to choose to stay in this backward world despite its good resources. After the group was split into two, Yue Xuexia’s eyes stared at those who didn’t wish to stay and looked at them even colder.

With a snap of her fingers a space portal appeared behind them and sucked those men throwing randomly in space. After all, she didn’t promise that they will land in some nearby stars but somewhere random in space. As for their lives, she doesn’t care. Ancient Elf King Andromeda asked, "Darling, where have you sent them off?"

"Just randomly in space. If they are lucky they should fall in some kind of land, if not then... That just means they aren’t lucky enough to live." Yue Xuexia said nonchalantly as if the lives of those men that didn’t choose to be under her didn’t matter to her at all.

The Moon Goddess approached the few beastmen who chose to stay. Among them are children who look like cute little beast cubs. The adults were all afraid of her and didn’t dare to look at her. But these little cubs are innocent, they were also fearless and looked at her. Seeing this she couldn’t help but smile.

"Wow~ She is beautiful while smiling."

"Big sis! Do you have food? I haven’t eaten anything for three days."

"Fairy sister, are you giving us a home?"

Yue Xuexia placed a soul mark on these beastmen. It was a silver crescent moon mark, it appears randomly on their bodies but mostly at places like hands and arm collarbones, places which can be hidden by their clothes. Then she picked the child who said that she was hungry and gave her a chocolate from her inventory. She also gave to the other children as well. With a wave of her hand, a pile of clothings, tents, bags and ingredients appeared near the beastmen.

"Cook then eat. Use the tents for now as I look for land to be given to you. For a meantime, you can stay in this forest for a bit." Yue Xuexia said.

After giving some candies and snacks to the cubs, Yue Xuexia called for someone in the elven race, a woman to help these beastmen to stay in the forest for a while. She also went to accompany the young world tree sapling and stayed for a while until the little one was satisfied. It took awhile before she cleared an area in the Moonlight Forest and gave them a part of that land to start their tribe.

On the day before she left the forest, she accompanied her great grandfather for a drink under the moonlight. As always he was bullying the little world tree and sat on its branches. Yue Xuexia can feel that the World Tree wanted to throw the elder off its branches but stop himself in doing so. She chose not to get involved as she knew that they get along this way.

Ancient Elf King Andromeda asked, "You planned on returning to the Immortal World don’t you? What do you plan to do on this star?"

"This star is mine. Of course, I will bring it away with me." Yue Xuexia responded. Only the world tree was delighted about that declaration. It seems to be willing to leave with its mistress no matter where it is.

The Ancient Elf King was stunned for a moment and serious next. He asked, "You’ve gotten the ownership of the star from the Heavenly Laws of this world?"

"Yes." The Moon Goddess responded. "Great Grandfather, do you wish to return with me?"

"Yes, but I will head in a different direction. I need to find a place to plant your great grandmother." The Ancient Elf King Andromeda said.

Yue Xuexia threw her token to him, it’s a red moon imprint with silver lotus and silver lightning.

She said, "With that token you should be able to ask help from the Moon Palace and the Lighting Clan."

"I will keep it with me since this is something you have given me," said the Ancient Elf King Andromeda who hung the token on his waist. "With this the Immortal Star Emperor will think twice in attacking me. Haha~"

Upon hearing the Moon Goddess directly insult one of the big shots in the Immortal Realm, the Ancient Elf King couldn’t hold back laughing. "But to do that there is something that must be done first. First, approach the protector or the chosen guardian that guards the door. Infiltrate and then kill the guardian. That’s why they scheme and kill the Immortal Sun Emperor."
