She Has Three Little Treasures: Fake Heiress, Yet Captures The Tycoon's Heart-Chapter 978: Seeing Something You Shouldn’t
Pip Finch shrunk his neck, chickened out immediately, and said nervously, "I... um, I’ll go check if everything is arranged. Once it’s ready, we should leave quickly."
With that, he skittered off into the distance.
Raina North watched Pip Finch’s figure and couldn’t help but sneer.
Raina and Elias Hawthorne didn’t leave together. When they left the manor, they split up, with Elias leading a group of elites from The Dark Tower ahead.
Raina didn’t wait long, about ten minutes later, the black Volkswagen she had rented online arrived, and she signaled Pip Finch to get in.
Raina didn’t take them back to The Hawthorne Family house but rather led them to a shopping mall first.
Their current outfits had too much of The Umbral Zone style, drawing way too much attention in the crowd, and it wasn’t wise to alert anyone before understanding the situation.
To avoid being recognized, Raina put on a hat, mask, and sunglasses.
Pip Finch followed Raina into the mall. "Big Sis, you’re taking us shopping? I feel so embarrassed. So, do I get to pick anything I want?"
Pip Finch’s eyes were glued to the heavy gold bracelets in the display case, and he couldn’t help but sigh. People these days, focusing too much on flashy things.
"Why make it so fancy? These gold bracelets can’t compare to gold bars. You have to pay craft fees when buying, and depreciation fees when selling. Not worth it, not worth it."
"But it’s still better than nothing."
Imagining that he could make a fortune by reselling them, no longer needing to leech off Lune’s money, let alone look at his deadpan face, Pip Finch felt particularly excited.
"You’re dreaming." Raina unhesitatingly dragged the drooling Pip Finch into the elevator, heading straight to the casual clothing section, quickly picking out two outfits. "Go change into these."
Pip Finch was still wallowing in the grief of losing the huge gold bracelets and was not in the mood to cooperate.
His face was full of refusal, "Ugly, I won’t change."
Raina picked out another set.
Pip Finch, "Eye-burning."
This happened several times in a row, and at this point, Lune had already tried on clothes and was done packing.
Raina took a deep breath, looked at Pip Finch, "Are you sure you won’t change clothes?"
"I won’t change." Pip Finch was very resolute, insisting that without ten or so gold bracelets, they shouldn’t expect his cooperation.
"Fine, then I’ll help you change myself." Raina rolled up her sleeves and said coldly, "However, if I see something I shouldn’t, don’t blame me for cutting it off."
She glanced downward.
Pip Finch felt a chill in a certain area, quickly clamped his legs together, and protested discontentedly, "Big Sis, you can’t threaten me like this!"
"I can," Raina said, calmly rolling up her sleeves.
Pip Finch tightened up, immediately grabbing the clothes from Raina, "Well, I suddenly think the clothes you chose are great. I can’t wait to change into them."
With that, he bounced into the fitting room.
Seeing Pip Finch settle down, Raina said to Lune, "I’m going to the restroom, you guys wait here in the store for me."
Lune obediently nodded, "Okay."
After Raina left, Lune sat on the couch in the waiting area, waiting for Pip Finch to come out of the fitting room.
As he lowered his eyes in thought, pondering the reactions of Raina and Elias Hawthorne, Lune keenly noticed someone pointing at him.
