Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!-Chapter 113: Even She Dares to Make a Ruckus
Chapter 113: Chapter 113: Even She Dares to Make a Ruckus
Summer Sutton understood his meaning, her face immediately lit up with a grin, and she nodded vigorously, "Okay, definitely!"
"Call me if you run into any problems," Adrian Walyon reiterated.
"Alright." Summer Sutton assured him again.
"Eat!" Adrian Walyon casually tossed her those two words and didn’t speak again afterward.
...
After finishing breakfast, Summer Sutton first went to school for two classes, and after class, she began looking for a part-time job company.
She had worked part-time before, but it’s been too long, and she can’t go back to the previous company.
She searched online all day, sent out a stack of resumes, and in the afternoon, she received an interview call from a small film production company.
After receiving the call, Summer Sutton rushed over, finished a simple interview, and due to her excellent professional performance and being from the best school for her field in the country, she passed the interview right away.
Summer Sutton’s major, once she graduates, would lead her to become a producer, involved in program production and planning.
However, since she is still a student, the part-time company arranged for her to work as an on-set assistant.
To say it nicely, it’s called an assistant, but in reality, it’s running errands on set, being like a brick to be moved wherever needed.
To Summer Sutton, it doesn’t matter, as it’s just a part-time job anyway.
Being able to enter the set and learn more is already enough for her as a student.
Today, they were filming a scene for the popular actress Laura Cloud.
The legendary diva with a not-so-great temperament.
Everyone else on set had been there for quite some time, only then did Laura Cloud, accompanied by her assistant, arrive fashionably late.
This season, the weather is cold, with Northtown at minus 3 degrees, and the ground covered in snow.
The entire scene today involved her; since she wasn’t there, everyone else could only wait.
Summer Sutton had dressed a bit lightly before leaving today, leaving her hands and face red from the cold in the snow, and her fingers nearly freezing.
Laura Cloud, accompanied by her assistant, strutted arrogantly past her, glanced at her while doing makeup, and pointed at her, calling out, "You, come here!"
"Something up?" Summer Sutton walked over.
"I haven’t had breakfast yet, and I want abalone porridge. Could you go and buy it for me?" Laura Cloud flicked a strand of loose hair from her forehead and said.
Now, the filming location is in the countryside, surrounded by wilderness, with no households around, let alone porridge shops.
Summer Sutton’s expression turned slightly awkward.
"What’s wrong? Unwillingly?" Laura Cloud cast a glance at her, her face instantly turning sombre.
Although Summer Sutton’s assigned work was running errands for those in need on-site, she took a breath and shook her head, "No, I’ll go and get it for you now."
Turning around, she headed out of the film set.
She drove for nearly forty minutes before finally finding a porridge shop, bought the abalone porridge and took it back, only for Laura Cloud to darken her face again after taking just one sip.
"This early in the morning, so greasy, isn’t it too filling? And it’s cold; are you trying to make me have a stomach issue?"
Summer Sutton slowly lifted her face, reminding her, "Miss Cloud, the kind of porridge to buy was decided by you before setting off, and you didn’t give me a thermal container. With such a long journey and weather like this, it was bound to be cold by the time I got back."
Laura Cloud purely didn’t want to touch the greasy stuff suddenly, and seeing the cold porridge worsened her mood.
But even if she’s capricious, who is Summer Sutton?
A mere errand runner, daring to talk back? fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓
Laura Cloud couldn’t stand it, raised her hand and slapped Summer Sutton twice, "You still have the nerve to argue after making a mistake? If I didn’t give a thermal container, couldn’t you think to buy one yourself? Such a simple issue and you didn’t consider it?"
The filming set was truly desolate, and even finding a porridge shop was challenging; to further find a thermal container would take at least half a day.
