Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 557: Honeypot
Wen Qinxi typed furiously on the keyboard completely disregarding the environment around him. He was determined to get his son out of this stupid game today.
There was a loud bang from the door being opened, followed by the voices of his mother and mother-in-law. The two ladies had been hard at work and rushed back as soon as they heard that the little weasel had been caught.
Nana Qie tossed her handbag at her son who caught it immediately. Grandma Wen on the other hand began to beat up the already trembling Leong Jinn while cursing which took everyone by surprise. She had been looking forward to this moment the entire flight and now that she was here she didn’t let him go.
"You son of a $%@!$%@!$%@!$%@!$%@! I will kill you. I will skin you, chop you to pieces and feed you to the sharks, you bloody bastard!"
"Ow ow, lady stop!" yelled Leong Jinn wondering if she had bricks in that handbag. His bloody face which was defiant just now had shattered and he was in pain.
Everyone, "..."
Wen Danzhe had to rush over and pull her back which was incredibly difficult. His once delicate mother had been lifting weights recently ever since she started hanging out with Qie Ranzhe’s mother. This meant he was put to shame. After managing to pull her away with great difficulty Machu couldn’t help but joke, "Dude, you should probably hit the gym."
Wen Danzhe, "..."
He had to lead his mother out of the room while Nana Qie sat down just glaring at Leong Jinn like a viper waiting to strike. She was just lying in wait. Once her grandbaby was out of that capsule she was going to beat the living daylights out of him.
"Bring him over," said Wen Qinxi and the mercenaries pushed him towards the computer. "If you try any funny business I am going to kill you," threatened Wen Qinxi
Machu glanced at the screen monitoring their vital signs and gave Wen Qinxi the go ahead.
Leong Jinn’s trembling fingers typed on the keyboard and after inputting a few commands the system began to initiate shutdown procedures. The entire room watched on with baited breaths concern clearly written on their faces. Leong Jinn retracted his fingers from the keyboard before he was dragged back.
Meanwhile, Qie Xieling had no idea that the game was about to end and he was going to go home. Even if one told him that right now he wouldn’t care. That’s because he was regretting ever having had sex in the game.
There weren’t supposed to be consequences yet here he was pushing a big head out of a pea-sized hole. This ancestor had a big head just like his father.
Qie Xieling glared at Luo Muchen who was at a loss as to what to do. He could only lend him his hand and wipe the sweat off his forehead.
"Do some breathing exercises," said Jolie while walking towards Qie Xieling’s cloth covered legs to take a look.
Like a ferocious fire breathing dragon Qie Xieling warned, "Don’t you dare. I will tear you to shreds," through gritted teeth. Jolie raised her hands in surrender and walked back with a nervous smile. Qie Xieling was terrifying when he wanted to.
Qie Xieling felt another wave of contractions and he clenched Luo Muchen’s hand tightly till the tips of his fingers turned white as he screamed in agony.
Sweat beaded on Qie Xieling’s forehead and Luo Muchen wiped it away ignoring the pain in his fingers that were aching from the fierce grip of his sweetheart. Qie Xieling leaned back his body feeling weak and his breath heavy. The cool feeling from the cloth Luo Muchen was wiping his forehead with made him feel comfortable.
"I love you, Lin Lin," Luo Muchen whispered as he pressed his forehead against Qie Xieling’s side profile. His voice was like a soothing balm amidst the chaos of pain and fear that surrounded them. The physician’s urgent commands to push filled the room, urging Qie Xieling onward.
With a fierce determination, Qie Xieling pushed, her eyes locked with Luo Muchen’s. "Ughhh I love you too," he gasped between breaths, his voice strained with effort. But as the pain intensified, his words turned to curses, blaming Luo Muchen for his agony.
"I take it back... I hate you. I hate you so much right now... You did this! You did this to me! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
Luo Muchen, "..."
His heart ached at his words, but he also knew it was coming from a place of pain. He was willing to suffer this grievance as long as it made his wife a little more comfortable.
Suddenly Qie Xieling felt like his body was cold. The chill from his chest spread all over his body like a silent yet deadly explosion. His ears were ringing and all the sounds around him became distant. In the distance, he could hear the sound of a baby crying but he couldn’t smile, he couldn’t move. It was as though his soul was being forcibly pulled out of his body.
He turned his head in a panic looking at Luo Muchen who was smiling happily while trying to take a look at the newborn. Luo Muchen turned to look at him with a smile on his countenance. He reached out to touch Qie Xieling’s face but the smile on his face suddenly vanished replaced by a look of concern. Panic stricken he was calling his name but Qie Xieling could barely hear him. The sounds around him were fading drastically and his vision was slowly fading.
Qie Xieling tightened his grip on Luo Muchen’s hand but he found that there was nothing. He was touching air. Everything went dark and silent his consciousness drifting into nothingness.

"How on earth did you even convince that old man to give up Leong Jinn?" asked Wen Qinxi while sitting on the couch his feet propped up seeming more relaxed than ever before.
Wen Danzhe standing at the kitchen counter glanced at him before continuing to peel the grapes. "You don’t want to know."
Nana Wen laughed softly recalling how cunning her friend was. "Do you know about the honeypot theory?" asked Nana Qie and Wen Qinxi furrowed his brows before saying,
"You mean like in programming when you have like a sacrificial computer you use as a decoy to lure in hackers?" His mother laughed out loud finding it amusing.
"Ai, my son-in-law is still so innocent," said Nana Qie while pinching his cheek. Wen Qinxi felt a sharp pain from being pinched. "No I am not," he retorted before a handful of grapes were shoved in his mouth.
"Eat and stop asking questions. I am so traumatised," complained Wen Danzhe. Now he understood where Qie Ranzhe inherited his cunning nature from. His brother stood no chance at all.
"It means that your mother-in-law is so charming. I lured that bastard into the car and then," she said and his mother continued saying,
"Beat the living daylights out of him. Took nude pictures of him to share with his wife and his shareholders and then post them for the rest of the world to see."
"Simple right? He gave up Leong Jinn so fast it was almost too easy," said Nana Qie sounding so proud.
Qie Ranzhe happened to walk into this conversation. He felt like throwing up just hearing it. He lifted Wen Qinxi’s legs and placed them on his lap while complaining, "Can you spare us the details? I really can’t bear it."
