Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 152: He is someone that needs to die
"Can you understand me?" she said after a long moment of silence. They had only met twice but she had long admired him. This meant that in his eyes, they weren’t as acquainted as soon to be married people should be but in her eyes, she was the man she dreamed of night and day. Thus her emotions were much more intense than his.
She glanced at the little dragon that hadn’t shown any reaction and said, "I will help you return to your usual self... I promise."
The promise was sincere and heartfelt. She definitely meant it. She would do everything in her power to bring him back to who he was before and bring freedom back to the people in the five realms.

While she was making vows to the person she held dearest to her heart, Yana was seeking out the person who was willing to sacrifice everything for her.
She had changed into a bloody red gown and a cloak with a long train. Her servants opened the large temple door and she walked in her head held up high and her steps elegant and unhurried. On either side of the aisle were monastic order monks with symbols on their foreheads.
They half knelt in silence as she walked to the altar. Wherever she stepped the torches on the walls would burn fiercely like someone had added fuel to the flames.
She reached the alter stairs and walked up, her gaze fixed on the ten-foot statue of her mother, the goddess Loviatar.
She bowed down to her till her forehead was resting on the ground and her palms pressing to the floor. This was the only one in the world and heaven beyond that she had respect for.
After kowtowing three times she got up and stood in front of the shallow stone basin, into which were carved runes and strange symbols. It was filled with a clear substance that appeared to be a cloud-like liquid or gas.
She picked up the dagger on the tray being held up by the servant standing next to her and chanted something in a soft whisper before cutting across her palm. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
The blood droplets dropped into the basin and the clear liquid and gas changed into a bright red. The misty gas from the basin overflowed onto the ground and the rest of the temple.
Yana’s eyes turned to the back of her head only showing the whites of her eyes as she raised her hands chanting a mantra in a strange language.
Suddenly her body was flung a great distance and as she collapsed to the floor, a figure appeared in the mist. At a glance, one could tell who she was.
Loviatar was a slim, beautiful human goddess with straight, thigh-length platinum-blonde hair.
She was dressed in outlandish revealing white silks decorated with silver chains. Despite getting into contact with her daughter, she still wore a cold expression and sinister demeanour as she moved with sensual grace.
"What do you want this time?" she said, her voice soft as she stood in front of Yana who was kowtowing on the ground.
"Mo, mother," she called out her voice trembling.
Loviatar smirked as she raised Yana’s chin with the tip of her boots, forcing her to look up.
"Speak up," she said and Yana swallowed her saliva as a drip of blood flowed down the corner of her eye.
"I am looking for someone and the location spell failed to find them," said Yana having gathered her courage. Her mother wasn’t a patient person and if she delayed she might end up suffering her wrath.
Loviatar showed an evil grin her eyes dark as she asked, Who is he to you?"
Yana was a little hesitant. She knew what her mother was like but she really had no choice. "He is a person I used to push our plan forward. I am afraid that since I have failed to kill him he will ruin my plans."
Loviatar knew she was speaking half-truths but it aroused her interest even more. "I can find this person but you know the price. It’s not going to be cheap," she said as she removed her foot on Yana’s chin.
She turned sharply and looked at the monks half kneeling in the temple. "You," she pointed with her black fingernail that was as sharp as a claw.
The monk came out of formation and kowtowed on the ground, his heart ready to serve. "Come here," she said as she sat on the alter, her legs spread wide apart.
The monk trotted over and knelt down again. She stroked his cheek while asking, "Are you willing to serve?"
The monk who like many others, hoped for the same opportunity, nodded his head frantically while answering, "Yes, anything for you, almighty Loviatar."
She smiled sinisterly and pressed the back of his head. Soon loud gasps and moans were heard across the temple. The monks didn’t look up neither did Yana.
She simply closed her eyes and waited for it to be over. This was one of the reasons she wanted to kill Eling. Her mother wouldn’t have let him go in the future so he was better off dead.
The moans grew louder and louder as the altar began to shake. Loviatar was still sitting up with her legs wrapped around the monk’s waist as he thrust into her. When she reached her climax, she dug her claws into his back and took out his heart.
While it beat in her hand dripping with blood she kicked the monk’s lifeless body away and stood up to her feet. She threw the heart in the shallow stone basin and muttered a strange language. A small light flew from the cloud-like gas and she held it in her fingertips before consuming it. That was the monk’s soul she had taken as payment for the transaction.
"Give any of his possessions so I can find him," she said to Yana.
Yana was even more hesitant but if she delayed her mother would get suspicious and this would arouse her interest so she stood up and took out a ring with the family crest belonging to Eling. Yes, he had even given her his family heirloom. Loviatar chanted a few words and the ring in her palm disintegrated into dust.
Soon the red cloud-like gas moved and showed a tent at the bottom of Flemston mountain. Outside the tent was Ragnor sharpening his greataxe and a young woman sitting alone. It seemed that they couldn’t see the small dragon king, nor could they sense him.
"There... I am curious though, who this person could be," she said and Yana’s lungs froze as she stood there looking at her mother.
"He is someone that needs to die," she replied her voice stern.
