Chapter 151: Groping around

Qie Xieling had never had a pet before. That’s because he was the most irresponsible person in the world. He loved cute things, but he didn’t know how to take care of them, so he was prohibited from having a pet.

Now faced with this cute tiny dragon, his cute aggression sprung up. His fingers itched to pinch, squeeze and bite it without any desire to cause harm.

Luo, on the other hand, smelt something tantalising on Eling’s body. The vertical slits of his pupils opened even wider as he sniffed around. The more he was enthralled by the fragrance that made him feel comfortable inside, the more his actions became emboldened. Lost in a trance, he didn’t realise it when he slipped into Eling’s cleavage and sniffed.

Qie Xieling laughed uncontrollably from the ticklish feeling of having Luo’s maw pressing against his skin. Before he knew it, the little dragon had slipped into his clothes and started moving around underneath.

Yunning, "..."

Boran, "..."

What on earth had they just witnessed? This was just unbelievable. Qie Xieling’s laughter grew louder unable to control himself.

"Stop... stop, I am going to pee, hahaha, stop," he cried out in laughter, his legs kicking.

Yunning had a face full of black lines. She was the fiance, but she was ignored, yet the person who betrayed him was being treated better. It didn’t make sense.

This was when an inexplicable thought crossed her mind. Eling must have put something on his body to attract King Luo. Just like catnip to cats, her fiance was drawn to that scent, and now he was behaving weirdly.

Was this Eling’s plan from the beginning? If that was the case, then Eling was more vile than she initially thought.

"What did you put on your body?" she asked, and Qie Xieling, who was laughing, stopped as he glanced at her.

Soon after, his clothes rustled, and the little dragon came out of his clothes. One big one and one small one glanced at her with displeasure, like she had interrupted their sweet moment.

"This is so ridiculous," she said dissatisfiedly. Had the whole world gone insane?

Luo still hadn’t found what it was on Eling’s body that was emitting that scent thus he continued groping around in his clothes but still there was nothing.

Qie Xieling was tormented for a good ten minutes until Luo stopped with a look of displeasure. Maybe it was magic or something. Whatever it was, he had to take his time to find it and destroy it. He especially hated it when people had something over his head.

He left Eling’s clothes his expression back to that vicious glare like he owed him money.

Qie Xieling couldn’t resist saying, "Hey, dragon lord, you groped me all over now you dare show me that kind of face? So heartless."

Everyone, "..."

Qie Xieling didn’t care about the fierce gazes directed at him as he picked up all his things that had been thrown out of his holding bag. In a not so orderly fashion, he shoved everything in his bag. When he saw a secure purple bag, his eyes lit up.

The dry scones inside were still intact and clean. He pulled one out and sat down as he took a bite. His hunger had already risen to seventy-nine per cent and if he didn’t eat this he might die in his sleep.

The three of them watched him gnawing at the dry scones greedily like he had been dying of starvation. At the corner of his lips were obvious crumbs, and he didn’t even give a thought to his personal image.

***

Like always, Qie Xieling put up his tent and closed it, leaving Boran standing there stupidly. It seemed his lecture about being a gentleman and giving the tent to Yunning was left unheard.

Eling still selfishly set up his tent and didn’t give Yunning any consideration. With the tent zipped up, Boran couldn’t help but ask, "If you are cold, I can force him out of the tent, and you can have it."

Having not received a response, he turned to look at her but he found that she was not there. Yunning was sitting further away beside King Luo who was curled up on the ground with his eyes closed.

Luo was struggling with his emotions. After he was betrayed and wounded, he flew up into the sky and found solace in a deep cave. He had to heal his wounds and accept that he would remain a dragon for the rest of his life without his dragon heart scales. He lay dormant for a while with his minions paying homage to him by finding sparkly things to ease the depressive air around him.

He was already resigned to his fate and planned to sleep peacefully. Since his half-sister wanted to rule he would let her. That is to say Eling’s betrayal truly broke him.

Who would have thought the same person who betrayed him would be used to find him? Not only that, when he tried to kill him he failed miserably and was even reduced to a tiny dragon. Was there anyone more miserable than him?

After all that, he found that his nemesis’ body had an inexplicable scent that he found very hard to resist. He had to get rid of this person as soon as he got back his dragonheart scales otherwise who knows how much control he would have over him?

While he was wallowing in his emotions, Yunning sat next to him. They didn’t have a relationship apart from the pendant she brought to him. That pendant was the perfect half of the one his mother left for him before she disappeared. It was rumoured that there was a marriage arrangement but since his mother left no one cared for it.

It was only when he came of age and took over the entire five kingdoms did she bring the other half and just like that they were to wed. To say they were strangers wasn’t an understatement but she was so enthusiastic making it very difficult for him to refuse. Having lived as a beast for so long, his emotions had become even more amplified but his memories had regressed, making him appear stupid.
