Roaring Dragon-Chapter 14: A Word of Thanks~

It took a full year to finally launch this book—thank you ✪ Nоvеlіgһt ✪ (Official version) all for your patience, orz.

In truth, the idea for this story was born last April, and I started writing the opening in June. It took eight months of grinding before I found the right feel and finally had the courage to publish.

I wanted to release it sooner, but the past few years took their toll. After crossing into my thirties, the brain just didn’t fire like it used to. I was writing over 10,000 characters a day, only to delete 8,000 of them and start again. Rinse and repeat. I rewrote the opening at least dozens of times, probably scrapped a million words along the way.

I truly thought no one would be reading by the time I posted. I never expected so many friends would still come out to support this.

There are no words to express my gratitude. So... here’s one more chapter as thanks.

I’ve always done my best to write as much as I can—but good plot isn’t something I can rush. In four days since launch, I’ve written four new chapters and updated thirteen. At this pace, my backlog won’t last a week. I’m averaging six or seven thousand characters a day, which is already pushing my limits, orz!
