Chapter 48: Chapter 48 : Sorry Guys Wrong Room

Ravina stood near the hospital entrance with calm elegance, the soft breeze gently moving strands of her platinum-blonde hair.

When Arthur stepped out of the hospital doors, she smiled warmly and said, "I was waiting for you, Arthur."

Arthur paused for a moment, slightly surprised, then nodded politely. His gaze drifted beside her where Mala stood quietly, upright like a statue, arms behind her back and eyes constantly scanning the surroundings like a trained hawk.

Even while standing still she radiated the quiet intensity of a professional bodyguard.

Arthur gave her a small nod, and Mala bowed her head slightly as she said, "Thank you for saving the young miss. I owe you this debt."

Arthur scratched the back of his head casually and replied, "You really don’t have to say that. I just did what any decent person would’ve done."

Inside his mind, however, Arthur thought, ’I’m honestly surprised they didn’t fire you.

If I were Isabella’s parent and my bodyguard let my daughter get kidnapped, I’d probably throw them out of the window first and ask questions later.’

Mala seemed completely unaware of the brutal thoughts running through Arthur’s mind. She simply smiled, took out a small card, and handed it to him as she said,

"If you ever need my help in the future, call me. I’ll do everything within my ability to assist you."

Arthur accepted the card and nodded as he said, "Thank you. I’ll make good use of it."

Inside his mind he added, ’Free help from a professional bodyguard? Yeah... this is definitely getting used someday.’

Ravina watched their interaction with quiet satisfaction before turning back toward Arthur with a gentle smile. "It looks like you’re completely recovered now," she said.

Arthur stretched his arms slightly and replied, "Yeah. I feel great." In truth he felt far better than great, but that was not something he could explain.

Ravina nodded approvingly and said, "Good. I’ll give you a ride wherever you’re planning to go. Isabella wanted to come today, but she’s busy with something and refuses to tell anyone what it is."

She sighed lightly before continuing, "I just hope she doesn’t get herself into trouble again."

Arthur chuckled and said, "It must be difficult managing someone like her."

Ravina immediately replied with a tired smile, "Don’t even ask."

Arthur laughed. "Yeah... I can imagine."

Then suddenly Ravina’s eyes sharpened as she asked, "What is your honest opinion about her?"

Arthur blinked, slightly caught off guard by the sudden question. Inside his mind he thought, ’Wait... what? Is this some kind of trap question?’

After thinking for a moment he answered honestly, "A spoiled brat who doesn’t know how to respect people or follow orders."

Immediately the system spoke inside his head, [Are you describing Isabella... or yourself, Host?]

Arthur instantly replied inside his mind, ’Shut up. I’m not spoiled at all.’

As suddenly Ravina burst into laughter, a full and unrestrained laugh that made several pedestrians nearby turn their heads to stare at her.

Arthur blinked in confusion and asked, "Why are you laughing?"

Ravina wiped a tear from the corner of her eye and replied, "Oh it’s nothing. Let’s go."

A long black limousine waited nearby. Arthur glanced at it and thought, ’Of course. Rich people transportation.’

The three of them entered the car.

The interior was extremely luxurious with soft leather seats, gentle lighting, and an engine so quiet it barely made a sound. Arthur leaned back slightly and thought, ’Wow... I could get used to this.’

The ride through the city remained peaceful.

Ravina occasionally asked small questions about Arthur’s recovery, and Arthur answered casually while Mala mostly remained silent, though Arthur noticed her eyes constantly observing the mirrors and surroundings.

’Professional paranoia,’ he thought.

Eventually the limousine stopped in front of the hotel where Arthur was staying. Arthur stepped out, and Ravina lowered the window before saying,

"Are you sure you want to stay here? I could easily arrange a far better place for you... or you could stay with us."

Arthur shook his head politely and replied, "Thanks, but I’ll pass. I’m leaving this country soon. I have somewhere else I need to go."

Ravina studied him for a moment before smiling. "Alright. As you wish."

Then she opened her purse and pulled out something before handing it to Arthur. Arthur looked down and saw a sleek black card. For a moment his brain froze.

’A no-limit black card... the kind only billionaires use.’

Inside his mind Arthur screamed, ’JACKPOT.’

Outwardly, however, he pretended to hesitate and said, "Oh no... I couldn’t possibly—"

His hand had already taken the card.

Ravina and Mala both noticed this, and they exchanged amused looks. Arthur coughed awkwardly and added, "I mean... since you insist."

Mala quietly looked away to hide a small smile.

Ravina then spoke again, her expression suddenly darkening slightly as she said.

"You also don’t need to worry about the Blue Magic Tower. If they even attempt to touch you... they will pay a very heavy price."

A chill ran down Arthur’s spine as he thought, ’Wow... she switched from elegant lady to Like a mafia boss in two seconds. How Scary.’

But Ravina’s gentle smile returned as quickly as it had disappeared, and she said warmly, "Take care of yourself."

Arthur bowed slightly and replied, "I will."

After saying their goodbyes, the limousine slowly drove away. Arthur stood there watching the car disappear down the street, then looked at the black card still in his hand.

A grin slowly spread across his face as he muttered, "Today... was a pretty good day."

With that, Arthur turned and walked towards the hotel.

Arthur pushed open the glass door of the hotel and stepped inside the quiet lobby. The receptionist briefly glanced at him before returning to their work, clearly recognizing him as one of the guests.

Arthur walked casually toward the elevators, and as the doors slid open with a soft ding, he stepped inside and pressed the button for the fourth floor.

As the elevator began to rise smoothly, Arthur leaned against the wall and said quietly, "System."

A familiar voice echoed inside his mind as it replied, [Yes, Host.]

Arthur crossed his arms thoughtfully and said, "I’ve been thinking a lot about where to go next... and I’ve finally decided."

The system asked curiously, [And what place is that?]

Arthur slowly smiled and said, "The Null Realm."

For a moment the system went completely silent, and then it exploded in panic as it said,

[ARE YOU INSANE?! ]

[ You almost died fighting Jordan who was only a D-ranker, and now you want to walk into the Null Realm?!

(╥﹏╥). ]

[ I didn’t know my host was that much of an idiot we are screwed ]

Arthurs mouth twitched hard.

As he rolled his eyes and said calmly, "Relax, I’m not an idiot. I’ll train first and become stronger before going there."

He stretched slightly as the elevator continued climbing and added, "All the bloodlines in this world originally came from the Null Realm. That place is filled with mythical beasts and creatures never seen anywhere else."

Arthur’s eyes gleamed faintly as he continued, "Almost every one of them carries powerful bloodlines, and if I can obtain even a few of those... our path to becoming the strongest will become much easier."

He licked his lips slightly and added with a sly grin, "Besides... I just need the right timing and the right people to do the hard work for me."

The system sighed heavily and replied, [Sometimes I really don’t understand what goes on inside your head.]

Arthur chuckled and said, "Don’t worry, only intelligent people can appreciate my intelligence. You’re innocent in all of this."

The system answered proudly, [You’re right, I am innocent...[ o_O]. ]

There was a brief pause before the system suddenly realized what Arthur meant and shouted, [Wait... what did you just say, you ungrateful host?!]

Arthur ignored the system completely and thought to himself, ’I definitely need a proper trainer... seeing Isabella and Jordan fight made me realize how important training really is.’

At that moment the elevator dinged as it reached the fourth floor, and Arthur stepped out into the quiet hallway. Still in a good mood, he walked toward his room and soon arrived at door number 401. He pulled out his key card, opened the door casually, and stepped inside.

Then he froze. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

The scene inside the room looked like the aftermath of a battlefield.

Several people were sprawled across the floor in strange positions, some lying face down, some leaning against furniture, and a few even stacked awkwardly on top of each other like a pile of defeated dominoes.

Many of their faces looked like they had been beaten into pulp, swollen and bruised beyond recognition, and every one of them was wearing identical robes.

Arthur blinked once, then twice, and slowly said, "Wow... it looks like you guys are really into some hardcore S&M activities."

He scratched the back of his head awkwardly and began stepping backward toward the door as he said, "Sorry guys, wrong room. You can continue whatever... interesting and pleasurable things you were doing. My bad."

He slowly started closing the door, but then he paused and glanced at the number outside.

401.

Arthur frowned and muttered, "What the hell... this is my room."

He pushed the door open again and stepped back inside, raising his voice as he said, "HEY! What the hell is this?! Is it your kink to do these weird sex activities in someone else’s room? Get out of here right now or I’ll call the cops!"

One of the beaten men suddenly crawled toward Arthur and grabbed his leg weakly as he whispered desperately, "Save us... she... she’s going to kill us..."

Arthur immediately kicked him in the face and said, "I’ll kill you before she does, you bastard! And whoever that is you’re taking about !"

Arthur looked around the room angrily, but then he suddenly heard the sound of running water coming from the bathroom.

Arthur frowned and muttered under his breath, "Wait... someone is in the shower?"

He crossed his arms angrily and continued, "How dare these idiots use my room after I paid for it."

Now irritated, Arthur marched toward the bathroom and grabbed the handle of the shower door. Without hesitation he yanked it open.

And the sight that appeared before him...

Was something Arthur knew he would never forget for the rest of his life.
