Rise Of The Villain : In a World Ruled By Anomalies-Chapter 49 : Misunderstanding
Arthur pushed open the bathroom door in annoyance, ready to shout at whoever had the audacity to use his shower.
The moment he stepped inside—
He froze.
The sight before him was both horrifying and strangely mesmerizing.
Standing under the shower was a woman in her twenties.
Water streamed over her flawless, curvaceous figure with ample breasts, full and heavy with perfect teardrop shape.
A narrow waist flaring into wide hips; and a plump, heart-shaped as her boobs that jiggled subtly with each movement.
Her body was undeniably beautifull—long, toned legs glistening with rivulets of water, smooth skin glowing under the fluorescent lights, every curve sculpted like a goddess from an erotic fantasy.
But horror marred the beauty as most of her body and hair were drenched in fresh blood, thick crimson smears coating her pink locks in dark clumps, splattered across her heaving breasts, trickling down her flat stomach, and pooling at her feet before swirling into the drain.
Dark red streaks ran down the tiles and swirled into the drain as she tried to wash it away.
Arthur blinked.
Once.
Twice.
Then his brain finally processed the identity of the person in front of him.
It was Yuna Akatsuki.
Arthur stood frozen, mesmerized, his eyes tracing every blood-streaked inch of her for several long seconds.
His mind had stopped functioning.
Meanwhile, Yuna slowly turned her head.
Her eyes landed on him.
For a brief second—
Silence filled the bathroom.
Then reality hit her.
Her face instantly turned bright red.
Her left hand instinctively shot up, cupping and pressing her ample breasts together in a futile cover, the soft flesh spilling slightly over her fingers.
Her right hand dove between her thighs shielding it.
Arthur took a huge gulp, heart pounding.
Yuna’s face flushed beet red, eyes blazing.
"You are quite the pervert, aren’t you, boy?" she snapped.
"A person with at least a little delicacy would’ve run out and closed the door. But you’re indeed very bold."
Arthur finally snapped out of his daze.
His brain panicked.
His mouth opened as he started stuttering.
"You— you— wait— I didn’t— you’re na—"
Before he could complete his sentence—
BAM!
Arthur never finished that sentence.
Yuna’s fist connected perfectly with his face.
Arthur flew backward like a kicked football as he was rammed into the nearby wall.
The last thing he saw was the mesmerizing jiggle of her two massive bazongas.
’Wow... Those shitty gods certainly made some good and ample things. How can they move and jiggle like that?’
Then he lost consciousness.
-----
When Arthur opened his eyes again, his head felt like it had been used as a drum in a heavy metal concert.
"Ugh..."
He groaned as he slowly sat up.
He was lying on his own bed.
Arthur rubbed his aching head and looked around the room.
The sight in front of him made him blink in confusion.
Multiple hotel security personnel were inside the room.
Several of the robed men who had been lying everywhere earlier were now being dragged out by the guards.
Some of them were still groaning in pain.
Others looked like they had completely given up on life.
Arthur watched silently as police officers escorted them one by one out of the room.
It looked less like an arrest and more like a cleanup operation.
Finally, the last beaten man was dragged out.
The police officer nodded respectfully toward someone standing near the window.
"Don’t worry, ma’am. We’ll investigate this thoroughly."
Arthur followed their gaze.
Standing there was Yuna.
She was now dressed in casual clothing.
A simple black top and fitted pants, though the outfit still carried a certain effortless elegance. Her long pink hair was still slightly damp, resting over her shoulders.
Yuna crossed her arms calmly and said, "Make sure you do. How dare those pieces of trash infiltrate my hotel."
The officers straightened immediately.
"Yes, ma’am!"
They quickly left the room.
The door closed.
Silence returned.
Yuna slowly turned her head toward Arthur.
A smirk appeared on her face.
"Looks like you finally woke up, perv boy."
Arthur sat there for a moment.
Then his eyes slowly drifted downward.
Very unfortunately—
His brain remembered the previous scene vividly.
Yuna noticed where his eyes were going.
Her mouth twitched.
"Eyes up here, you pervert."
Arthur quickly looked up.
Yuna tilted her head slightly.
"So..."
"Do you even understand what happened here?"
Arthur immediately replied in an annoyed tone.
"Of course I understand."
He pointed toward the door.
"You invited those clowns into my room to have some hardcore—"
BAM.
This time the punch landed directly in his stomach.
All the air left Arthur’s lungs instantly.
"GHHK—!"
He collapsed onto the floor, clutching his stomach as his body spasmed.
Yuna stood above him with an irritated expression.
"Those clowns were here to kill you, you idiot."
She crossed her arms again.
"And I was the one who dealt with them for you."
Arthur slowly pushed himself up from the floor while still holding his stomach. The punch had knocked the air out of him, and his head still felt slightly dizzy.
He looked up at Yuna and said with a frown, "Wait... what? How can I believe what you just said?"
Yuna crossed her arms calmly and replied, "Did you not see what all of them were wearing?"
Arthur frowned for a moment before answering, "Yeah... they were all wearing those robes that magicians wear." He paused mid-sentence as realization suddenly struck him.
His eyes widened slightly.
Yuna smiled faintly and said, "Looks like you finally understand."
She leaned against the table nearby and continued, "You do remember that you made the entire Blue Magic Tower your enemy the moment you killed the disciple of the Blue Magic Tower Master."
Her smirk grew slightly as she added, "And it looks like they were finally here to finish you off."
She tilted her head and said in a smug tone, "You should feel lucky that I dealt with them for you. Otherwise, you would already be six feet under the ground right now."
Arthur stayed silent for a moment as his mind slowly processed everything.
Inside his head, the system spoke.
[You should be grateful to her, Host. She is not wrong. You would have been a corpse if not for her.]
Arthur replied inside his mind, ’You’re right... I almost called her a slut earlier... even though she gave me such a wonderful view of her giant bazongas.’
He coughed awkwardly.
Then he slowly stood up, walked forward, and sat down on the floor in front of Yuna.
Arthur bowed deeply and said sincerely, "Thank you... thank you for saving me, Miss Yuna. And I apologize for the misunderstanding. I was wrong to accuse you like that without knowing the full story."
Yuna nodded slightly and said with a smug smile, "That’s right, boy. Keep the praises coming."
Arthur nodded again and said, "I jumped to conclusions without hearing your side of the story."
Yuna shrugged and replied, "Yes. You did."
Arthur lifted his head and added, "I also want to thank you for one more thing."
Yuna smirked proudly and said, "Oh? Tell me. What is it?"
Arthur smiled slightly and said, "For the incredible view you gave me in the shower."
Yuna nodded instinctively and replied, "Yes, I di—"
She suddenly stopped mid-sentence.
Realization hit her.
In the next instant—
Her fist shot forward.
It stopped just a few inches from Arthur’s face.
The force of the punch created a small gust of wind that brushed against his hair.
Arthur froze.
He slowly swallowed.
Then he nervously said, "Looks like the last thank you was unnecessary."
Yuna’s eye twitched slightly.
"I don’t want your thanks anymore, boy."
Arthur raised his hands defensively and said, "Hey, I already bowed to you. What else do you want?"
Yuna narrowed her eyes and said, "You already know what I want."
Arthur immediately cut her off and said, "No. Not happening."
Yuna shouted, "Come on! I just saved your damn life!"
Arthur shook his head and replied, "And I know that, but that doesn’t mean I want to put my life in danger again."
Yuna’s mouth twitched.
"Are you saying your life will become even more dangerous if you become my disciple?"
Arthur looked directly into her eyes and calmly replied, "Will it not? I already have one powerful enemy. How many enemies do you have?"
Yuna paused.
For the first time, she had no immediate answer.
Inside her mind she thought, ’Damn... this guy knows how to win an argument.’
She looked away slightly.
Arthur crossed his arms and said, "See? You can’t even look me in the eye."
Yuna suddenly turned serious.
Her playful attitude disappeared.
"Alright," she said firmly. "I can’t guarantee that people won’t come after you."
Her gaze became sharp and confident.
A faint red aura slowly began to leak from her body like small waves of energy.
Arthur could feel the pressure in the air instantly.
Yuna spoke again with absolute certainty.
"But know this."
"I promise you that after becoming my disciple and training with me, you will be able to survive even hell itself."
Her eyes burned with confidence.
"And after a few years... no one in this world will be able to match your strength."
She leaned slightly forward and said, "Now give me a credible reason why you’re rejecting my offer."
Her voice became firm.
"Also think carefully before you answer me again."
Arthur looked at her silently.
The confidence in her eyes was real.
Inside his mind he thought, ’How exactly am I supposed to explain to a psychopath that she becomes an even bigger psychopath in the future...?’
Suddenly the system spoke inside his head.
[Don’t you think this is actually the perfect opportunity? You were looking for a trainer, and she is willing to train you.]
The system continued.
[I don’t think it can get better than this. You and I both know she is one of the strongest people in the world.]
Arthur thought quietly for a moment.
’Well... I didn’t think about it like that.’
He sighed mentally.
’And I hate to admit it... but you’re right.’
Arthur lifted his head again.
He opened his mouth to finally reply.
