122 Psychic Domain

A few hours passed since then, and as it was the fourth day of the week, the student headed to the training ground.

The three instructors, Lucien, Atticus, and Leilani were already in the training ground and as soon as the others gathered around, they walked inside the building

And this time around it wasn’t the dome shape building for the hellfire domain or the huge circular shape building for the speed force domain, instead, this was a hyperbolic structure.

Its shape was striking, and as the students stepped into the building they couldn’t help but be astounded by the stained-glass ceiling.

Lucien, Atticus, and Leilani gave the students the chance to appreciate the beauty of the work that was in front of them, and after a few seconds, one of them spoke.

“I welcome you to the psychic domain,” Atticus announced.

The students took a good look at the area they were in when they heard Atticus. The inside of the psychic domain wasn’t particularly large, but neither was it small.

As one of the training domains in the elite division, the students heard a couple of things about the psychic domain, but some of the words that were spoken weren’t understandable.

Those who had trained inside the domain said that it was something they had never experienced in their life, and it forever changed their lives and also their scope of reasoning.

.....

Atticus nodded his head, seeing the reaction of the students. “As you, all know, the psychic domain is one of the training domains in the elite division, but there’s one thing you don’t know about the psychic domain.”

“The seven strongest meta human in the academy regard the psychic domain as the second most important domain among the others.”

“This is also why they have made the psychic domain very crucial in the seven divisions. It isn’t just the elite division that has a psychic domain in the training ground, but the other six as well.”

A stern expression hung on Atticus’s face as he spoke. His hand was folded across his chest, and he glared at the twenty-one student in front of him.

“Moving on,” Atticus said.

“I will quickly brief you about the psychic domain, and then we began.”

Be it humans, metahumans, metal beasts, or animals we all have our shortcomings, and perhaps that what’s makes us normal. But at the same time, the shortcomings and weaknesses that we possess are also holding us back.

The psychic domain was created for the very purpose of excavating that weakness that we have so to as let us develop even further.

“Some of you have tones of potential that are yet to be unrivaled. You might not even be aware that you’re capable of them, but with the psychic domain, all that will be attainable.”

Apart from Atticus’s loud voice, no other voice could be heard in the surrounding, not even

mumbling. The students listened attentively to the words that Atticus lips, and so did the two who were standing beside him.

“The psychic domains include several major aspects we have self-discovery, healing, closure, inner peace, state of mind, and many more.”

“But, we will only be dealing with two of those things for the time being. To assimilate elements like this we can’t afford to rush you and at the same, we can’t be too slow either.” Atticus said.

He then continued, “The two we will be dealing with are the state of mind and healing.”

“It’s like the saying, a strong body is a good asset, but a strong mind is a very good asset.”

This time around, Atticus took a step forward as he spoke. “And also, you will realize that once the mindset changes, everything on the outside will change along with it.”

“He is right.” Lucien blurted.

A strong nod came from Atticus, and he said, “Everyone needs clarity and peace of mind, and the process whereby we gain and acknowledge this clarity is where the healing phase of it will take place.”

“Only then would we be able to unearth what was being hidden. The inner demons that have also been holding each one of you back will also be destroyed, and a new road awaits.”

“A road where no shackles or obstacles exist... We might as well call it the road to supremacy.”

Atticus eyes had been shut closed for a few seconds after he began talking, but the moment the word ‘supremacy’ left his mouth, his eyes sprang open.

His lips then curved into a smile, and when Leilani and Lucien saw the look on his face, they seized him from head to toe. Followed by that was the mouth of both of them opening wide.

“Congratulations Atticus!”

Lucien and Leilani’s voices rang out.

The students were confused when they heard Lucien and Leilani. A couple of them seized Atticus up, but regardless of how hard they stared, they couldn’t change what occurred to him.

He appeared the same, but for some reason, it seemed to be as though it were different for Lucien and Leilani.

As Lucien saw the dazed look on their faces, he shook his head and moved his gaze back to the man beside him.

“Atticus, should I?”

With a nod from Atticus, Lucien’s voice rang out.

“I am pleased to announce to you all that the academy has added another powerhouse to the force.”

“In the moment of clarity, Atticus has now become one of the SS-Rank meta in the academy.”

An expression full of shock and disbelief appeared on the faces of the students in the buildings, they stared at Atticus, with some having their mouths opened and eyes widened.

While some of them had seen an SS-Rank meta before, it still felt extraordinary. This was after all the rank that every meta that exists looked up to and aimed to attain.

Even though Atticus tried to act neutral about the situation, it was obvious that he was very excited about it. His face brightened up, and his cheeks were raised.

Atticus took a deep breath, “I won’t deny that it doesn’t feel good to be at this rank, it does. In fact, it is one of the most important feelings ever, which is why I’m going to urge you to come to this rank.”

“Now, let’s start the training.”

Atticus said, turning towards Lucien. 𝒇𝔯e𝚎𝘄𝑒𝑏𝙣𝑜𝚟𝗲𝑙.c𝘰𝚖

Lucien already understood the message, he waved both hands and the twenty-one students were pushed backward.

The force drove them to the wall, and before any of them could even react or even realize what was going on, they were confined in a tube.

The twenty-one tubes were made out of glass and as Raphael and the others placed their hand out of it, they realized that no amount of attack was going to break the tube. Raphael was left astounded by the materials he felt from the tube.

Bang!

However, while most of them sensed the intensity of the tube and didn’t bother to attack it, Jackson refused to oblige to it. He clenched his hand into a tight fist and threw out a full-force blow.

It was however not what Jackson expected. As the instant his hand came in contact with the tube, an intense pain coursed through his body.

The pain went from his right hand that threw the punch out to every inch of his body.

Jackson staggered backward, he stared at his hand that was now covered in blood and his mouth opened slightly. Blood soon dripped out of his mouth and followed by that was a loud scream coming out his mouth.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!”

As the pain didn’t hold anything back, Jackson didn’t also hold back as well. He screamed like a maniac and a few seconds after, he abruptly sat on the floor.

A smirk appeared on Lucien’s face as he stared at Jackson. And as the others shifted their gazes from Jackson to him, Lucien’s lips curved inwardly.

“Consider yourself lucky, if you had punched harder, you would have died,” Lucien said in a neutral tone.

The expression on Jackson’s face turned grim when he heard Lucien. He stared at Atticus and Leilani, seeing the both of them not disagreeing with the words that were spoken by Lucien, Jackson gulped.

He tried to lift himself from the floor, but he wasn’t able to muster the strength to. He then sat cross-legged and assumed a grand master poster to cover up his shame.

“Haha hahaha!!! Sucker.” Bane blurted.

If anyone wanted to test out the strength out of the tube, after the words that were spoken by Lucien, they instantly gave up.

Suddenly, Leilani took a step forward and directly appeared in front of the tubes. She stared at the twenty-one students who were in the tube for a brief moment before saying.

“To have the sort of mindset we desire from you, you will need to conquer your inner demons.”

“And to do so you have to pass the tests.”

It wasn’t even up to three seconds after those words left Leilani’s lips, and the tubes were covered in purple smoke.

“I wish you the best of luck.”
