121 In Progress

Emily only spent a few minutes in class, as she saw the tired expression on the faces of a few of them, she chose to move it to their next meeting.

“I wish you good luck, try not to die, or at least wait until after our next class.”

Those were Emily’s last words before she left the class.

And as Emily left, the issue about the distribution of the items began again. They were however able to settle the dispute this time around, and everyone received a share of the items.

They all went their separate ways soon after, with some having a displeased look on their face and some seemingly satisfied with the share they received.

Regardless of the way Mason, Sylvia, and the twins decided to share the items that were recovered from the hospital, not everyone was pleased with it.

The following day, Raphael woke up, performing his daily tasks, and right after, he headed to the bathroom.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Devon, Aiden, and Bane sat in their usual spot and discussed the victory that they had just achieved. f𝘳𝚎𝐞we𝐛𝑛𝐨𝘃e𝘭.co𝘮

.....

“Bane, how is it going, have you collected it?” Aiden asked with a smile on his face.

“And how much did we gain in total?”

As Aiden asked his question, Devon also followed up with him. The both of them had eyes on Bane with their cheeks raised, and their mouth parted.

Bane didn’t respond immediately, he took the coffee cup on the table and seeped the content inside.

He seemed to be enjoying the attention he was receiving from Aiden and Devon, and it was only after a few seconds that he spoke.

“The black market is a really crazy place... I have been in this place for years, it is absurd, how I didn’t know about it not until Jackson mentioned it. But thankfully, I’m one of a kind.”

“As you know I have a lot of connections and people in the academy, It wasn’t an easy task, picking the one we should sell to, but after many offers, I chose someone.” Bane blurted with his chest puffed out.

“The black market handles items with rates, and I can assure you that the person I sold to, has the highest rates in the academy. It was simply the best, and let me tell you we have earned big.”

Even though it was obvious that Bane was using this chance to brag, and tell how awesome he was, Aiden and Devon didn’t mind.

The both of them nodded their heads, and the smile on their faces widened.

“We have 20 million points in total!” Bane declared.

Aiden leaped from the chair as soon as he heard those words. He soon abruptly sat on the floor with his hands on his head and his mouth opened wide.

“Yes!” Aiden exclaimed with excitement evident in his tone.

Devon was also very delighted with the point they had just made from the items. He clapped his hands and then smile like a demented child.

The items that had been some were the ones they received from jersey saint hospital. Even though stacked cash, jewelry, gold, silver, and diamonds were of no use in the academy, the black market in their appreciated it greatly.

The three of them had gathered all the shares they received and with Bane’s source in the academy, they were able to sell them off on the black market.

Bane grinned like a child when he saw the expression that Devon and Aiden had on. He waited for a few seconds before saying.

“And that isn’t all... When I traded the whole items, and I earned all that, I just couldn’t stop.” Bane said.

“I began to sell more and more stuff to the black market, and presently we have about one hundred million points.”

Whether it was Aiden or Devon, both of them lost composure when they heard Bane. They stared at him with their mouth hanging open loosely, and after a moment, Aiden’s voice rang out.

“Yessssssssss!!!!!!!!!”

Aiden yelled, and even Devon was unable to contain his excitement. He burst into laughter of joy as there were one step closer to achieving their dreams.

“That’s very good, Bane. Nice work.” Aiden praised.

“I have also pulled some strings, and I should be able to get around ten million points by the end of the week,” Aiden said.

Bane smiled, “You did well, Aiden.”

Bane suddenly turned towards Devon, seeing the look that was on his face, Bane couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. He stared back at Aiden, who shrugged his shoulders, before saying.

“Devon, what’s wrong?” Bane asked.

Devon raised his head at Bane, “I was wondering about the stuff you sold that fetched us eighty million points.” Devon replied.

“It’s fine though, I’m just curious...” Devon muttered.

His eyes were however on Bane, and so was Aiden. Aiden even took a step closer to Bane.

“Yes, Bane, which stuff did you sell?”

Bane flashed a light smile at the two in front of him. He chuckled before saying, “Just a couple of stuff from the gallery.”

Bane had spoken those words out in a low voice that neither Devon nor Aiden heard any of the things he said. The both of them, however, moved closer to him with their hands across their chest.

“What’s stuff did you sell, Bane?”

“Why does it matter, it’s just a couple of items that’s all... And besides, why are the both of you asking me this, we didn’t ask Aiden where he’s getting his own part from.” Bane blurted.

And in response, Aiden said, “Of course, you know where the ten million points are coming from. I borrowed it from Camille.”

Devon and Bane stared at Aiden, evidently confused when they heard him.

“Camille borrowed you ten million points,” Devon said with shock present in his voice. “How were you able to pull that off?”

“I know the both of having been spending some time together lately...”

Devon slowed down quickly, he stared at Aiden then at the door and his eyes widened. “It can’t be... Are the both of you in a relationship?”

Bane was just as curious to hear Aiden’s response, but Aiden suddenly shook his head.

“No, relationships, no...” He shook his head as he spoke.

“I asked her to lend me ten million points, of which she did. I’m very grateful, but at this moment, I can’t help but wonder what if I had asked for fifty or a hundred million points, would she have given me.”

Aiden placed his hand on his chin in deep thought. However, he soon got rid of the thought and shifted his attention back to Bane.

“Don’t change the topic, Bane. What did you sell?” Aiden inquired.

Bane shook his head, “You mean the both of you are not in a relationship, and yet, she gave you ten million points.”

“How did you do it, Aiden? There must be something you aren’t telling us.” Bane said.

Devon nodded his head and stared at Aiden. However, he soon shook his head, and this time around glared at Bane.

“Stop changing the topic, Bane, which stuff did you sell and where did you get them from?” Devon asked.

“Okay, fine,” Bane muttered.

“I got them from the murderer division gallery.” Bane said, and began to explain the items that he sold out to the black market.

The black market in the academy received all sorts of items in the academy and converted them into academy points for others. Their operation was always done with absolute discretion, and those who came to purchase or sell had no idea who the opposite party was.

It was the same with Bane. Bane had the contacts, but he didn’t know who exactly he was dealing with.

As the most wanted student in the elite division, Bane had a lot of cards in his hands. And one of them, that he decided to pull out, was the famous art theft that occurred in the murderer division gallery.

The murderer division had almost turned the academy upside down when they realized that two of their collection were stolen from their museum. They searched the whole academy, but they weren’t able to find out.

It was only after when the commotion they created because of the arts wanted to cause war between them and three other divisions did the murderer division go quiet about the issue.

“You mean those two pieces of art we stole were worth forty million points,” Aiden blurted.

And in response, Bane nodded his head. “Yes, both were worth forty million points. I had no idea it was worth that much, if I did, I would have sold them a long time ago.”

While the murderer division and the others were completely unaware of the person who stole their art, Devon and Aiden were. As the arts were, in fact, hidden in their room.

“There should still be one more artwork, Bane.” Aiden said, “We stole two from the first floor and the last one from the second floor.”

Bane’s eyes twitched, he then headed to the television in front. He stretched his hand to the back of the television and brought the piece that was hidden there.

As Aiden, and Devon saw the third artwork, their eyes lit up.

“This is definitely going to bring more points than those two,” Bane affirmed as he stared at the blood-splattered art that was in his hand.

“Hopefully, then we can have Raphael work on the systems quickly.”

A grin appeared on the three of their faces as they thought about becoming a system owner.
