Damien was surprised to hear these words and wondered how confident this man must be to shout out to his aunt from outside.

It couldn't certainly be someone from around here.

"Damien, stay here. I have to take care of this first before things get worse," Akira said as she immediately turned around to walk out the door and closed the doors behind her.

"Ha…I wonder what kind of trouble is brewing outside…" Damien mumbled as he walked towards the large windows and parted the curtains slightly to see who all came outside.

His eyes narrowed when he saw five pale gray-skinned men on the ground. But unlike the ghouls he met at first, these five were wearing noble-looking garments, head to toe and the man standing in front of the other four was wearing an even more grand dark silver clothing with an overcoat.

He was looking in his late thirties and had a thick beard and mustache. His expression had a hint of arrogance and pride as he stood there with his hands behind his back. However, there was a veiled feral look in his eyes that made Damien feel like this man couldn't be simple to deal with.

Damien also noticed the symbol of a pointy horn embedded on their clothes, near their shoulder, making him wonder if these guys were daemons from the Daemon Horn continent.

Only someone important from there could call out to his aunt like this.

He guessed that the four men behind him with weapons must be the Daemon Envoys. Then this man wearing a dark silver garment could only be the Daemon Lord.

Damien made sure to not make it obvious he was looking out the window since experts like those five down there might notice him.

"How do you feel now that you accidentally ended up in the place where you were born?" Luna asked now that Damien was alone.

"It is all too sudden for me to process all this…But one thing I felt for sure was that the only person I could rely on is my aunt, even though I only met her just an hour ago. There is something about her that makes me feel like I have already known her. It could be because she took care of me when I was just a baby, as she said," Damien mused.

"Yes…She is the only one who hasn't tried to hurt Master after coming to this part of the world. And regarding the fact that her race can't survive only on nethereal energy is true. I may not have most of my memories but what I remember is that my universe was dying because of how it was. But I never thought these ghouls would find a way around by using humans," Kalypso mumbled as she wondered if this was the reason her previous master tried to venture into the Aether Dimension.

She was now even more desperate to recover her memories and find out what went wrong and how her Master ended up dying. She also wanted to know if this annoying goddess had anything to do with her late Master's demise, though she didn't believe that her previous Master was weaker than her.

Luna squinted her eyes as she said with a skeptical look, "It's fine if you want to consider her as a family but don't blurt out your secrets no matter how much you feel like confiding in her."

"Of course, I would never tell anyone about your existence as promised before. Otherwise, wouldn't my wives be the first to know? Many times I wished I could just reveal your existence to them so that they would know I wouldn't have been strong enough to protect them so far if not for you," Damien said with a subtle smile, making Luna look away with an inscrutable expression as she said,

"It isn't as much of a big deal as you think. My life and death were involved, and there was no other choice."

Damien chuckled as he said, "But even if that was the case, I am sure you would choose me only even if there was another person with the perfect conditions to be your host."

Luna crossed her arms as she narrowed her eyes, "How brazen of you to think like that. What makes you think this goddess would still favor you?"

"That is something you should be asking yourself since only you know the answer for sure…right?" Damien asked with a charming smile, making Luna's expression flicker for a second as she didn't expect Damien to catapult her question back to her while maintaining a straight expression.

"You should focus on healing your arm first rather than play around with silly questions," Luna offhandedly said as her eyes awkwardly moved about.

Kalypso pouted, feeling as if there was this invisible vibe between these two that she couldn't just put her finger on.

Luna shook her head as she huffed and said, "Leave that. You almost made me forget something important I was about to say."

"And that might be?" Damien asked while he secretly peered out the window to see his aunt coming out and walking towards that man.

"You shouldn't reveal the existence of your Heavenly Fire seed to anyone, not even your aunt. At least not for now," Luna said firmly.

"Could it be because—"

"Yes. It is your trump card against these nethereal creatures, but at the same time, I doubt you can use it without getting yourself crippled, just like how one of your arms got almost crippled after just manifesting a tiny flame. Anyway, because of these reasons, keep this to yourself. We can't afford to make any hasty decisions in a world like this," Luna warned.

Damien took a deep breath as he said, "Alright. You got a point. I have to first make sure I can survive here on my own, especially since powerful guys like these see me as nothing but cattle," As Damien said this, his attention focused on the man standing before Akira.
