"Mom, will we be able to return home once this training program finishes." Ariana asked Audrey.

"Ariana, how can you call someone else mom?" Ariana’s mother asked standing up from her seat.

"Didn’t you always say that I was your biggest regret in life. You always told me to go and die and I did." Ariana turned to her mother with icy cold eyes.

"Is it, how come that was not how she behaved when she came to see me?" Ariana asked raising her brow.

"I am starting to feel the same. If you guys want to question her, then do it so, but not when we are all having a serious meeting." The other warlocks said.

"It seems like the werewolves have nothing more to do than pry into other people’s business." The other warlock said.

The meeting ended and when they were leaving, Ariana’s mother came from behind and grabbed her hand.

"What is the meaning of this?" Ariana asked showing her the arm that was holding her arm.

"You refuse to call me mother, but you are calling her mom?" Ariana’s mother asked furiously.

"Didn’t you always say that I should have died a long time ago. Why act like you are hurt?" Ariana asked and broke free from the hold.

"Why now? Why come and tell me all this? When I really needed a mother, where were you at that time?" Ariana asked, her mother looked down in shame.

"This pack only started treating me badly all because they saw how my own family treated me.

Ariana was forced to think at those days when her parents would lock her up for three days without any food. She would starve and they wouldn’t care, when she got sick, they would tell her to stay away from Ava, before she passed the disease to her.

There was a time when her father chained her up and beat her, she was not his own daughter. She was brutally beaten for something Ava did, and Ava blamed it on her.

She was not even allowed to seek medical attention, they said she didn’t deserve to receive treatment. She was bedridden for a whole month, she couldn’t move, but they still forced her to do chores.

They wouldn’t let her even eat, saying it was her punishment. Casey would sneak into the attic and bring her food to eat, Casey would sometimes get caught and get beaten as well, but she would still bring her food.

Ariana owed her life to Casey, she remembered when Casey would sit next to her and blow on her wounds. Casey would cry as if she was the one in pain, Ariana had grown used to the treatment she was getting from her parents.

"You want to be called mom; do you deserve it?" Ariana asked her body shaking in anger.

"When he was beating me brutally for something Ava did, didn’t I call out to you? But what did you say? You said, ’beat her harder’ was that your own words?" Ariana shouted in anger pointing at her father, everyone turned to look at what was happening.

The warlocks that had walked a bit further heard the commotion and walked back to listen to what was happening.

"I’m sorry!" Ariana’s mother said with tears flowing down.

"You say you are sorry but ask me to return here. This pack has never seen me as one of them, but now you people need to make your pack stronger you are willing to call me one of you." Arian said looking at all of them.

"I don’t need you guys anymore; this is my mother." She said grabbing Audrey.

"This is my father, my MATE, my brothers and my sisters." She said showing Travis as her father, the boys as her brother and the girls as her sisters. She emphasized the word mate to make it clear for all.

"You said you are my mother, right? What were you doing when I became the punching bag for this pack? Everyone that needed to blow steam would just come and beat me up. Everyday my body would be covered in wounds and what would you do? You would throw salt on them, enjoying how I would cry in pain." Ariana asked.

"You said you wanted to be my brother again, can you redo everything. Even now, you think my words will hurt her, but what about the hurt she has done to me. What about the scars this pack has inflicted on me, you all saying I turned my back on you, but what has any of you people ever done to me other than give me pain?" Ariana asked, Adrian held her back he saw she was about to lose control.

"They are really too much. They treated her so badly and now they want her to come into the pack again." One of the warlocks said.

"I think I heard about her before." The other warlock said.

"What did you hear?" One of them asked.

"I think she is the one whom one of our teachers told us about." He replied.

"You mean that one?" The other warlock asked, and the guy nodded.

"That is just too much, how can they ask her? Didn’t they do enough harm to her, I heard she was like a power bank for this pack. They drained her energy to become stronger, and they had to make sure she didn’t train." One of the warlocks said.

"They are just disgusting; they are coming after her when she is finally happy with her new life." The others said shaking their heads.

"She was even rejected by her own mate. It was said that her mate rejected her and took her sister as his mate." One of the pack members said.

"Even if this is my pack, there is no way to defend them in this matter." Another pack member said.

"I heard that alpha Hunter has been chasing after her since she came back, he now wants to leave her sister and get back together with her." Another one said.

"Get me out of here before I kill all of them." Ariana said to Adrian when she felt she was losing control.

"Adrian, go!" Travis instructed.

Adrian shielded Arian and held and left. Audrey turned to Ariana’s mother and looked her with a cold stare.

"You’re really shameless. How far will you people go." She questioned.

"She is my daughter not yours." Ariana’s mother said stubbornly.

"Do you think that just because you gave birth to her makes you, her mother. Ask yourself you are worth to be called a mother." She spoke.

"Do any of you have any idea the condition in which we found her in?" Audrey asked.

"Amelia, show them!" Audrey said to Amelia and Amelia showed them.

In the vision they saw a bloody Ariana laying on the ground covered in blood. She clutched desperately to her stomach. Hunter saw this and realized that this was the time she lost their baby.

"She was so weak from you guys draining her, then being rejected twice. You want her to give you guys a second chance? What will you do this time?" Audrey asked.

"The only person Ariana recognize is her." Audrey said pointing at Casey.

"Casey and her grandfather were the only ones Ariana was excited to meet. You were the one who showed her love in this pack when everyone else was doing the opposite." Audrey paused.

"Ariana has been through a lot, she is not the same weak Ariana you all knew. It was hard for her to overcome all the trauma you guys put her through, but you people and your selfish hearts just can’t let her go." Audrey shouted; Travis held his wife.

"I’m fine!" She said to him, and he released her hand.

"I don’t mind trapping you guys in the past and see how your actions were, let’s see if you guys deserve the so-called second chance you always talk about." Amelia threatened.

"Let’s leave them, we have to go and check up on her." Samantha spoke.

"Dylan, take Sophia back." Audrey said handing Sophia to him.

"Aaron!" Samantha said and handed Isabelle to him.
